NAME: Tie’en Chianti

Tie’en has the aura of a true Mirialan. She has strong, dignified features that give him a look of passive pride and arrogance. Her chin is sharp and angular, while her almond shaped eyes exhume a questioning and inquisitive gaze that often times obscures her true intended body language. Her nose, unlike her other facial features, is blunt and crooked, due to an accidental fall as a child. She has brown eyes and dark brown hair that seems whisky and wild, difficult to tame. She has always been cursed with a resting face that seemed contemptuous; however her true temperament is more akin to that of a science nerd than that of a stuck up force sensitive elitist. Her face is dotted with triangular tattoos, that form lines around the top of his head like a halo. Her chin also has some of these ceremoniously applied markings that indicate her experience and her natural inclinations. She is yet to have many, she is still quite young.
Her apparel choice is simple and plain. Grey robes, with accents of white. They are stylized similarly to a Gi, the folds being hidden underneath a durasteel chest plate that covers her torso. She is a believer in both the force and technological approaches. She often carries a bag of forensic tools, such as scanners, magnifying modules, and sample collection vials. Her outfit as a learner of the sentinel path offers her a more anonymous appearance. He wears a dura helmet that obscures her face on official tasks as an investigator in training. She is anonymous, in this capacity and is referred to as “sentinel” “detective” or “padawan” solely when working in an official capacity. Those of the sentinel path are suppose to be faceless, and Tie’en upholds this with his appearance during extracurricular outings.

Tie’en has always been known for her deep curiosity and interest in forensic science. Her father, a prominent lawyer whom studied intergalactic law, has spurred her interests as a young girl. She is especially apt at the use of scientific tools, coding, and splicing, as she is interested in the many digital footprints left behind in a space age society. She is able to speak 3 languages, galactic Common, his mother tongue of Miran, and droid speak. She is unusually invested in technology and it’s usefulness to the order. She is strong willed but that often times can prove to be a weakness as well. Her logical mind and power of deduction had driven her to the sentinel’s path. Her belief in the force is strong but her reliance and belief in the use of modern means to solve problems often drives her away from the consolatory inclined.
Forensics (Expert)
Her skills with a lightsaber are strong, but her specializes in form III Soresu (Journeyman) and Makashi (Apprentice) her her focused speciality. She believes that in combat, controlling a space is more advantageous than controlling your opponent. If you can secure your footing and stand your ground, you can be an immovable object, even in a duel. Her hand to hand preference is that of deflecting and throwing an attacker to avoid losing space rather than pushing forward and striking to take space.

Where Tie’en often lacks is her interpersonal skills. Her ability to properly use diplomacy, to inspire confidence, and to offer any means of persuasion is very weak. Due to her crippling self consciousness and duty bound upbringing, she finds it difficult to vocalize himself. She is meek, and has trouble speaking up when a he’s making her point. She could never handle the profession of her father, and thus has taken to investigating as her interest. She is extremely bright, but sheepish in nature. Her ability to use Jedi tricks, such as the mind trick, is very weak. Her power of suggestion is almost non existent. She is much more confident under the guise of the masked sentinel; which is one of the aspects of the school of thought that attract her. Hopefully she will be able to be fully realized as a member of the Order of sentinels once her training is completed. When she is pressed, he tends to get shaken and often stammers in her speech.
PERSONALITY:
Tie’en is a mixed bag of emotions. She is extremely dedicated to her craft and loyal to the order. She believes it is her duty, as a force gifted individual, to service the order and the people of the Galaxy. The time old Mirialan sense of duty is not missed on her. She is very eager to follow orders and instructions. Though she is bright, and a quick thinker, she has very little social intelligence. Her father had been a prominent lawyer, and thus she trusts politicians and those in “service” to the people more than she should.
She is extremely fact oriented and right brained. She finds it hard to express herself and often times finds that shying away from people and dealing with them passively is much easier than confrontation. She is easily discouraged and has a hard time finding confidence in herself to do something beyond her interests. The idea of giving testimony to the council is terrifying to her. She is constantly working to improve his sheepish nature; however she has yet to make any true progress.

For the Mirialan people, Honor is paramount. They value not just tradition, but also upholding law and honoring the expectations of their ancestors. For Generations, the Mirialan people had revered those that were born with a sensitivity to the force. As was the case for Tie’en, when her sensitivity was discovered at the age of four, her parents quickly began plotting out her life path so that she could be given to the jedi order post haste. Her father, Ruien, was a Defense attorney for the capital government as well as a negotiator for off world intervention and business trades. It was his study that exposed Tie’en to the many wonders of law, mystery, and deduction. Her mother, an avid journalist, was often distant but instilled a love of the written word and encouraged a natural curiosity that she came to embody well.
Though her parents were by no means abusive, they were cold and distant. They were bound by that solemn duty that binds all Mirialan people. To offer up and uphold the strong tradition of Jedi that the Mirialan people had worked to reciprocate after the fall of the empire. This labor of reclamation had brought forth many Jedi whom are now working to gain status in the council, to better reflect Miran and its people. Tie’en has no interest in this matter; however, unable to voice an objection, she was sent to Yavin IV to be trained as a Jedi, where she now remains. She spent years tinkering and learning the trade of technology and forensic science. Detecting blood, testing burn patterns, blaster marks, serial numbers, all of it interested her. She lives for discovering the story behind every action and object. Every action had a consequence, the secret is finding out what that consequence is. She seeks a master that will support this dream, while she continues to believe in forensics and science.
