Hello fellow SWRPers!
This is Malon, your Content Admin. We are now just a few weeks out from our time skip, which is still scheduled to happen on May 4th (Star Wars Day). In preparation for this, the Staff has a small update for you all regarding a change that will be made and will go into effect on May 4th, when the time skip commences.
For awhile now, we have operated under a strict Main Faction Character Restriction Rule. Two characters, out of the three that are allowed, may be in a Main Faction, while the third must be Independent. After some discussion among the Staff, we have come to the conclusion that this rule will be eliminated post-time skip. To be completely clear: once the time skip happens on May 4th, there will be no Main Faction restriction, meaning that all three of your characters can be in a Main Faction, in any assortment you desire.
Or, if you so choose, you may have three Independents. The point is, that the Main Faction Rule will be revoked.
We are making this announcement now so that those of you who are in the process of writing up characters for the time skip can factor this into your plans. Be advised, though, that, if you already have two characters in a Main Faction, you will not be able to sign said characters up until after the skip. Keep them in your workshop for the time being, and then post them when the allotted time has come. As usual, if you have any questions regarding this update, feel free to post them in the thread below or PM one of the Staff, and we would be happy to answer your questions.
