In-fighting so far has only led to stagnation in a faction. Mandos are the largest example of that.

Wut.
Just about everything here is rather stagnant when it comes to a bigger faction. I think the Mandalorians were the only faction to have something good come out of their in-fighting,

Every faction has had its low points as far as activity is concerned. I think the Mandalorians are coming back around in that respect, though... and yes, I think the in-fighting led to necessary changes that were for the better.
I'd love to do some flashbacks of the civil war. Like Horizon said, there was a lot of potential there. It was cut short because the opposition became non-existent, but now we can collaborate on it and expand it. The problem is, each time I've tried to rekindle interest, people have signed up and then that's it... they never post about it again. If people want to do it, they have to stick with it.

Here's my thing on flashbacks. I hate them. Never had an honest love for them in the first place. Reason being is that they are just a set of events set in place within history. History is the key term. If it's history, it's already supposedly happened and were just writing it down that it did occur.
I prefer things to happen in the present, they have more drive behind them. Nothing in front of them is set in stone and they are free to do as they desire.
If there was another war between the Mandalorians, it doesn't require one to be within. Rather, I personally believe it would need to be another group with an entirely different belief. Not something based along the current lines and one not wanting a change within the leadership.
In other words..
Thesis + Antithesis = A new conflict will arise.
We're looking for the antithesis now.
