Alright, a general hint of it could be seen here, and I want to stay involved with the ImperialKnights somehow. I was thinking during Vasily's timeskip, he kind of makes some sort of company type thing, that produces small arms. These weapons could be sold to other groups for income for the True Thrones, or the weapons could be used to supply them themselves.

They'd mostly be lower end items, if any of you guys are gun nuts, think of the "Liberator" pistol from World War II. We could smuggle those to rising rebellions in Sith territory, and while they aren't that useful in combat, people could use them to kill Imperial soldiers and take their weapons instead. It'd be a cheap way to possibly fund chaos within the Empire.

How would IK members be involved with a company making Liberator-equivalent weapons, given that most in the IK are probably not knowledgeable in the weapon manufacturing industry? The distribution of insurgency weapons is honestly the only thing I can see being interesting.

I was just figuring that since the IK&TT are mostly former Imperials, and even further, for the TT, a decent bit would be former soldiers, I think that they would have the basic understanding of blasters, or there would possibly be some sort of character we could get involved in this. I have actually been looking through profiles, seeing if anyone had a character who would have strong enough knowledge on engineering/weaponsmithing, that they'd be able to do this. And the main reason why I mentioned that weapon was how it's honestly made of mostly really cheap metal, and is rather inexpensive. For a weapon that could be made with 40~ dollars irl, I don't think too much science is behind it. They're fairly barebones.

And the main point wouldn't really be the company, it'd focus more on the distribution, because I feel like that could actually provide some interesting threads. Since the IK are going to be part of the Rebellion, they'd probably be able to contact some sort of smuggler within it (Old Han Solo style), and perhaps it'd give a little more connection between the former Imperial members of the Rebellion, and the former Alliance.

Idunno. Just kind of thinking it out right now, if you think it's a dead-end, I probably won't carry on with it.

main thing I really see is that " knowing how to use and make quick field repairs, maintenance =/= make from scratch " I can see basic knowledge to make simple weapons of a very basic design, I dont see making high end ones readily without the aid of serious engineers and technicians

Exactly. I don't plan on making those right away. If the company gets to that, I want it to get there through roleplay.

I'd personally like to volunteer my former GA Captain-now-Rebel Captain Kylis Risenfel for this.

ONE: He has experience designing weaponry, small and large.

TWO: He's skilled in rebel activities. Previous experience and TS activities.

THREE: Rebel Scum Gotta Stick Together Y'all.

This reminds me of the CDEF pistol description to be honest.

I'm for this, I want to make sure that having a company within the TT isn't pushing things first so I directed Vulpes to talk to Lavi about it. That said, if we have others from the different branches of the rebel alliance (such as from the Alliance rebels) then we'll need to talk to a few other people before this can get off the ground since it's not strictly in-house so to speak.
