Their shuttle flew through the roofside opening of one of Tipoca City's many large domes. The shuttle had to endure a lot of rain and strong winds coming down through the atmosphere on its descend and the pilot had a tough time compensating of the sudden absence of both as he headed into the domed structure. The shuttle made an involuntary 40 degrees spin before he managed to at least level it out horizontally as the landing gear touched down on the durasteel floor of the small visitor's hangar.
Lana was strapped in behind the pilot and breathed a sigh of relief. She wasn't that used to flying through rainstorms to feel comfortable with a pilot messing up the landing. Unstrapping herself she rose to her feet and straightened her tunic. This time she did wear something more appropriate for an apprentice to the King of Avillion and the tailor had known to make sure that the short gold-and-blue dress didn't in any way restrict her movements.
"You know, I heard the previous Empire destroyed this place-" she said carelessly to Malou as she left the cockpit to go have a look outside, but then reconsidered and stopped. "-think they'll just come with us?" she asked her senior. Their task was to convince a couple of Kaminoan scientists to come home with them and work for the Kingdown of Avillion. Well, sort of..
All they managed to get in terms of long-distance communications with these seclusive long-necks was that they were willing to give them a tour of their newly rebuilt cloning facilities and discuss the cloning process and payment arrangements, which ofcourse differed based on the species Avillion wanted to clone and the number and age of the specimen. Lana had no idea yet how to steer the conversation towards the poaching of scientific personnel, but surely it would come up somewhere naturally..
