Their shuttle flew through the roofside opening of one of Tipoca City's many large domes. The shuttle had to endure a lot of rain and strong winds coming down through the atmosphere on its descend and the pilot had a tough time compensating of the sudden absence of both as he headed into the domed structure. The shuttle made an involuntary 40 degrees spin before he managed to at least level it out horizontally as the landing gear touched down on the durasteel floor of the small visitor's hangar.

Lana was strapped in behind the pilot and breathed a sigh of relief. She wasn't that used to flying through rainstorms to feel comfortable with a pilot messing up the landing. Unstrapping herself she rose to her feet and straightened her tunic. This time she did wear something more appropriate for an apprentice to the King of Avillion and the tailor had known to make sure that the short gold-and-blue dress didn't in any way restrict her movements.

"You know, I heard the previous Empire destroyed this place-" she said carelessly to Malou as she left the cockpit to go have a look outside, but then reconsidered and stopped. "-think they'll just come with us?" she asked her senior. Their task was to convince a couple of Kaminoan scientists to come home with them and work for the Kingdown of Avillion. Well, sort of..

All they managed to get in terms of long-distance communications with these seclusive long-necks was that they were willing to give them a tour of their newly rebuilt cloning facilities and discuss the cloning process and payment arrangements, which ofcourse differed based on the species Avillion wanted to clone and the number and age of the specimen. Lana had no idea yet how to steer the conversation towards the poaching of scientific personnel, but surely it would come up somewhere naturally..

Malou met Lana on Florn during an unfortunate situation that put them stranded in the wilds and hunted for sport. Obviously, they had both made it out. At the time Lana was new to the Sith and without a master, so when they escaped the planet Malou had suggested that Lana seek out Malou's master, Artorgias, and ask to train under him. Malou's own acolyteship had come to an end, and she figured Art would be looking for another. Seeing as she and the Zeltron were on their way to Kamino together on a mission for the man, the suggestion had worked out.

"Tarkin had the city bombarded, yeah," Malou confirmed of her statement with the slightest shake of her head. "But it was a long time ago. The Kaminoans are pretty like...concerned with themselves. They're big isolationists." The Miralukan rose from the co-pilot's seat, glad that they were finally landed, and she too smoothed down her robes. Malou came from wealth--incredible wealth--but other than the fine material the robes she wore were otherwise simple. They were made of a cream-colored fabric and accented with little bits of gold. The D'Amaris family icon, the Eye, was embroidered onto her breast. Clothing certainly wasn't the most important thing to the blind girl, but if she knew one thing, it was that attire could change first impressions for the better, or for the worse.

"If there's money involved--and I'm sure we can get money involved--it shouldn't be...well...we'll see."

The champion checked to make sure her headwrap was secure on her face, then made her way over to the exit and activated the ramp. It descended with the sound of mechanics, and the rainy, misty wind could suddenly be felt against their skin.

"Alright, let's go."
