Somewhere just on the edge of sith space, far from what he considered the civilized galaxy, Vale Karett sat in the command chair of his ship. The Red Sun maneuvered closer to the nearby hyperspace route and its sensors began actively pinging for any kind of signal. The location's position so close to sith space meant that sith military and supply ships would drop out of hyperspace to make long range transmissions to the imperial navy. It also made the location the perfect place for an ambush. Even as Vale sat there, something quite interesting began to show up on sensors. A ship was dropping out of hyperspace a bit too close to his position for his liking. "Hold Course and hail the ship, I want to know who they are and where they are headed. Try broadcasting a broad wave, short range distress signal. Smile and wave, boys."

As he spoke, he stood from his chair and a Kawakian monkey lizard leapt from his lap onto his shoulders. The heavy being would be far to large for an average man, however Vale was used to it and his great strength meant the lizard was only a mild inconvenience. Grabbing a comlink and activating the video feed broadcasting to the other craft, Vale began to speak.

"This is the courier ship Profit Moon. Our Hyperdrive is Damaged and leaking. Requesting assistance! I repeat, we are venting coolant and our hyperdrive is shot. Help would be greatly appreciated"
Cutting off the feed, he called back to his crew. "Ready the Ion Cannon in case we like their response."

A sleek, silver ship erupted out of hyperspace. Although the pirates didn't know, it was exactly where it was meant to be. The Red Sun was already setting to work, an emergency beacon up and communications pinging the new arrival as soon as it came out of hyperspace. A video popped up on the communication screen within the beautiful spacecraft, a handsome man in his late twenties early thirties with a scar across one eye. A monkey lizard was perched on his shoulder. In fact, unless the being had written 'PIRATE,' across his forehead, it could not have been more obvious.

Lips parted on the sleek ship, however, as it's sole inhabitant smiled at the picture that played across her screen. She responded simply by sending in her credentials, falling right into the trap of the pirate.

The Honorable Sith Empire Envoy,

Viscay Tabutata.

Leaving her seat, the woman sauntered away as she prepared for the disabling shot that would inevitably come. Nothing she couldn't fix with her vast coffers. At least they wouldn't have to break the airlock- she left it on automatic connection. As she carefully walked away, the woman hid her signature from the Force.

Boy would those pirates be surprised.
