Jaren had been here for a while, within the dark halls of the Bogan temple. From the moment he had arrived, this place had felt...different. It was as if something that wasn't there was constantly brushing itself against his psyche. The few people who had deigned speak to him were all either short with their answers, crazy, or tried to kill him for walking up to them. What was it with this place?
Oh well, Jaren knew he shouldn't complain. He'd been well fed while he was here. Truly, there weren't as many sweet foods here as there were where he could scavenge for them...but he decided that regular meals were far better than wondering when he'd eat next. Despite his regular meals however, his body remained devoid of much muscle.
When he arrived, the man that had brought him here gave him a robe and a cloak, then disappeared. When Jaren had asked what was to become of him, the man had merely smirked and left. The young force adept hadn't seen him since, but here it was, finally he wasn't just wasting space here. He'd finally received a message that he was up for...'inspection'.
That didn't sound pleasant, but he supposed it was their right - he was living here for free, after all. He couldn't have expected that to last. The message had ordered that he wait here in front of one of the training facilities, and to await further orders. Again, that didn't sound pleasant.
"I hope I don't end up regretting this..."
