BIOGRAPHY
Born the middle child to a middle-class family on a planet in the Corellia System, Toan Daa'mooch had a personality that always made him strive for success. His gruff and aggressive way of interacting with people gave Toan a negative reputation in school, but his high performance only validated how he acted. The Daa'mooch homeworld was split in a terrible three-way interaction between Humans, Selonians, and other alien political groups. Separated by intense political and philosophical differences (whether it was okay to eat human children constantly came up) that often escalated into open warfare, Toan was raised in a culture that was indisputably anthropocentric. Graduating near the top of his class at the end of grade school, Toan spent most of his mandatory two-year stint in the human militia as a junior officer, with his domineering personality making him a natural leader in a military setting. While greatly unpopular with the lower ranks, his reputation for success in operations kept morale high enough to avoid being killed by his own men.
Toan's time in college was easily the best years of his life. Drinking, womanizing, and experimenting with spice filled his weekends. Enrolled in the engineering programs, Toan decided to take the mechanical engineering route, and not only managed to graduate, but graduated with honors. It was in college that he met his two best friends, Mayar and Goomos. After college was when Toan's life took a turn for the worse. A drastic economic downturn caused job opportunities to dry up, and what few people were hiring were immediately turned off by Toan's disrespectful attitude. Looking to an alternate field, Toan turned to adventure entrepreneurship, getting back in touch with his equally unemployed friends from college. The troupe were determined to support their new lives, taking jobs that were too safe, easy, and well-paying for the competition. Not having a clue what they were doing, the trio somehow made it to Amfar. Toan was last seen in prison for making highly sexist remarks towards the civilization's female leadership.
PERSONALITY
Toan Daa'mooch had a personalty that immediately makes people hate him. Whether it was his lack of a verbal filter or his self-serving attitude, Toan was unpopular among his superiors, comrades, and underlings. Honest to a fault, Toan would often point out a person's faults and shortcomings directly to their face. Completely unwilling to sugarcoat his speech, this only added to Toan's negative perception, although he would often take unpopular but moral positions. People who spent enough time with Toan would also find him to be loyal, generous, intelligent, capable, cooperative, and even willing to admit his own faults.
Unsurprisingly, being in a "human militia" tends to make one SUPER racist against aliens. Toan has a special hatred for Selonians, and bought three slugthrower pistols for him and his friends just to make alien deaths more painful.
