honestly the type of handgun depends on what your using it for so there really is no perfect handgun. A revovler can hold much ammo, ussually uses higher calibers and is reliable. but a semi-auto is dependent on ammo and maintance but can hold a lot of ammo and is easy to reload and fire because its more balanced. I know because I've fired both.
Depends on what you're using the handgun for, each one has it's +'s and it's -'s.
Personally I'm a fan of the Glock and the Mk .23 along with the USP.
Desert Eagles are nice, but have low bullet count, though compensate for it with power. A Deagle would rank in my top ten, but it would have to be the Mark XIX, it's a .357 with a 9 round magazine.
