((Sorry, knew I was forgetting something))

Cnile grinned as she slipped into the speeder's hangar, her traditional robes now replaced by a form-fitting slate top over which she wore an open, copper half-jacket. Finishing out the ensemble, she wore a pair of military-cut black pants with matching calf high boots. “I may be a Jedi, but I still enjoy a putting together an outfit.” she mused to herself. Checking one last time to make sure her lightsaber was safely hidden within the jacket, she jogged over to the air speeder. “Shotgun.” she yelled out, hopping over the edge of the air speeder and into the designated seat.

Taking a moment to settle in comfortably, she looked up at Gamble and scanned the room for Juisk. “I'm as ready as I'll ever be.” she said confidently, an almost giddy smile still playing across her face. “Always wanted to jump onto a moving train.

Juisk turned around as his master vaulted into the speeder, and raised an eyebrow, smiling slightly. "So....Guess i'm in the back. Again."

He looked himself over before stepping into the speeder. His lightsaber was concealed under the folds of the nondescript tunic he wore, but was still within easy reach. his comlink and a few small credit chips were on his belt as well. He wore his hair loose, and his boots were sturdy, Jedi-issue, but still unassuming.

He sat down behind his master and leaned forward, watching out the viewport.

Billy didn't delay a moment. Once both Jedi were in and situated, he put the thing in motion, disembarking the spacecraft. Before just zooming off, he depressed a few controls on the console of the speeder, sealing up his craft nice and tight along with arming the anti-theft security measures. That'd suck to come back and not have a ship to get off planet with. Really suck...

Cnile seemed to be enjoying this, acting a bit playful as they departed. Juisk didn't say much, only commenting on taking the back seat. Gamble fully engaged the engines as they began to make good time through the lightly wooded area, himself guiding the craft smoothly along a pre-determined path that the navicomputer had established for him. There was no way he could travel this fast and pilot this good without such assistance. Now maybe a Jedi could.... but not Billy.

As they moved speedily along towards the train which they could not see as of yet, Billy remarked, "Trains movin' pretty quick, so I'll do m'best to get us close to the rear of it, keeping behind its draft and you two can leap forward from there, starting at the rear just as you wanted." He ran his fingers over the console again, pulling up an image of what the back of the last railcar looked like for the Jedis' convenience, this way, they knew what they would be looking at when they got there.

Glancing over at Cnile and then Juisk, Billy added, "Now, I can put this thing out auto, locking it up to the back of the train as it were another car and join ya'll inside... or I can just sit tight while you two do all the uh.... dirty work." He wasn't really excited about just sitting in the speeder and cruising along while they got all the action, but then again, his role was more of a support in this mission, so either way...

Cnile shrugged slightly, and stated bluntly.“I know I wouldn't be exactly fond of sitting around staring at the wagyx of a train all day.” She was enjoying the feeling of the wind through her hair, a fresh breath of air one could never truly find of the urban sprawl of Coruscant. As the train approached she slowly stood up in the seat, leaning against the wind visor as she glanced over her shoulder, “Juisk, I want you to jump first. Then you Gamble, if you're coming. I'll come over last.”

She smiled, trying not to look like she was being overly protective. As it sat, she knew that if someone were to miss their jump, she was the best chance that had to catch them before they dropped to the ground. Slowly gathering her concentration, her smile faded. It was time to work.

(I'm going to assume that we're pretty close, if not already in position, if not, then i'm happy to edit accordingly)

Juisk nodded and stood shakily in his seat, wind whipping his hair and clothing. Combat instincts, honed over years of study, told him that when jumping onto a train most likley filled with people who would shoot as soon as they saw them, he should have his lightsaber in hand. But he stifled that. Now was not the time.

Summoning the force, letting it flow through him down to his legs, he took a step, one, two, between the seats of his master and Billy, who he had decided that if they all lived through this, he'd like to see another mission with, and sprang off the front hood, leaping for the train.

The flight, while lasting barley more than a second, felt like ages. His fingers hit the top edge of the train's car, and he grasped it desperatley, using a quick force assisted jump to bring him up onto the top of the car.

After a moment, he turned in a crouch and gave a thumbs up to those still in the speeder, wind whipping violently against his hair.

The Padawan's leap over onto the train and subsequent jump up to the top of the car was impressive to say the least. "Dang Jedi voo-doo," he muttered softly to himself in a voice that wasn't exactly audible considering their surroundings and situation. Cnile had said though that he could come with them, joining them in the recovery process on the train, and Gamble had instantly decided to take her up on that offer. He -much- preferred getting in on the action as opposed to sitting on his azz in the speeder. Much preferred it.

Running his fingers over the console, he ensured that the speeder was trailing the train by only a couple of feet. Slight adjustments in the speed of the autopilot demanded such following distance. If he were to butt right up against the train, it would likely damage the speeder and cause it to bump into the train continuously, jarring the systems on-board the speeder, and likely causing its loss. With this mission, they really couldn't afford to lose their getaway. Nope.

Once the speeder was ready, Billy stood up and climbed up towards the front of the speeder, maintaining three points of contact for balance as he did so crouched over. It wasn't so much that the speeder was unsteady as it was the wind whipping around from either side of the back of the train. It was rather vicious. After a deep breath and an inner dialogue of counting to three in his head, Gamble made the jump rather easily, though he was clearly relieved once he secured his hold onto the train.

Instead of trying to leap up to the top of the car like Juisk had done, Billy stepped over to the side of the car, reaching around and grabbing hold of the small ladder that was secured there for maintenance personnel to do whatever they needed to do. Climbing up the ladder, the wind buffeted him something fierce, sincerely desiring to send him flying off the train and tumbling through the heavy brush on the side of the tracks.

Once reaching the top of the ladder, Gamble extended a hand towards Juisk, somewhat expecting, somewhat hoping that the Padawan would give him a steadying hand, assisting him onto the top of the car. They were a team and would have to work together as such throughout this little operation, and there was no doubt in his mind that the young man would assist him, though Billy did speak up a bit, not exactly yelling as he tried to get the Padawan's attention, hand extended towards him, "Juisk... a hand?"

Cnile took a deep breath as the pair leapt across, glad that she hadn't needed to catch other. Whipping her head around as she quickly scanned the area, she began to rock her body back and forth, matching the natural motions of the speeder. Pooling her force awareness in her legs she compressed her legs as she rocked back, suddenly leaping forward in what appeared to be a headlong dive towards the back of the train.

Catching the top of the train, she rolled over into a handstand. Deftly snapping her elbows straight, she flipped back around onto her heels, using the Force to anchor herself to the train's roof. “Well, that was fun!” she shouted over the wind, beginning to expand her senses to encompass the entire train. A small frown crossing her face, she turned to Juisk, “Something doesn't seem right, does it?

Juisk extended a hand, bracing one leg against the roof of the train and helped Billy haul himself up, before turning to look at his master, with a slight frown.

"No...something feels.....dark."

His perception wasn't nearly as attuned as his master's, so he could do little but make an educated guess.

'Force user maybe?"

He reached out, tried to focus on the energy, but he couldn't even pinpoint it's location, much less what it was. He looked back at Billy, a slight smile on his face, wind whipping his hair all over.

"So, having fun yet?"

Billy thanked Juisk for giving him a hand up, taking a knee and steadying himself atop the train as he kept one hand gripping a railing of sorts that edge the narrow walkway atop the car. While not seeing the start of Cnile's leap, he most certainly saw the acrobatics that it ended with. Graceful and impressive. He shook his head lightly. He'd have to get use to this Jedi voo-doo if he were to do more missions with them, and so far, he was liking what he was seeing.

Looking over at Juisk concerning his remark about having fun, Gamble forced a broad grin as he replied, "Yes... Loads... I'd much prefer being INSIDE the cars than atop, heh." Billy understood that walking through the cars probably wasn't the best idea, but trying to keep his balance atop as the train was moving wasn't exactly fond to think about either. He didn't exactly have the Force to assist him like Juisk and Cnile had. Regardless, he'd do his best to keep up with them.

Hopefully before this thing was through, he'd be able to prove that he was at least -somewhat- useful during this portion of the operation. Sure he was a skilled pilot, but sometimes, that just wasn't enough. He wasn't going to take any stupid risks or chances, but if the opportunity presented itself for him to shine, then he would most -certainly- put his best foot forward, and give it all that he got!! Being a quick-draw artist with impressive accuracy at close-range was a good skill to have. Not so many were as fast as he was on the draw, and especially with dual blasters...

As the two Jedi noted something amiss about this whole situation, aside from being atop a fast moving train with the wind trying to blow your azz off every possible second, Gamble just kept his mouth shut as he looked from one to the other, quirking an eyebrow and awaiting further instruction. Scanning ahead, he saw where there was a hatch that led down into the car they were on top of. Now just how were they going to find this thing? The Jedi could probably sense it. Couldn't they?

Cnile's frown grew, she definitely did not like the feel of this. “Juisk, stay with the speeder.” There was a darkness onboard, one she didn't want the young man exposed to. Her face a stern mask of professionalism, she turned to Gamble without waiting for a response from Juisk. “Come on, we'd better hurry. Let's go two cars up and then slip in. That'll put us between the rear two passenger cars.

Suiting words to action, she expanded her awareness to encompass the entire train as she exercised her long out of practice art of train walking. Matching each step to fall with every sway and bob of the train, she made quick progress to their desired entry point. Kneeling to look over the edge, she waited for Gamble to reach her, and set about locating the artifact through the Force.

Billy thought it odd that the Knight decided to leave Juisk in the speeder. He wasn't as skilled a pilot as Gamble was... The choice was curious. Perhaps there was something on-board that she felt she needed to protect him from. But he was a Jedi!! A padawan no less, but a Jedi still. Maybe he just wasn't ready for this kind of thing yet. Maybe a lot of things. Who knew? Regardless, Billy gave Juisk a light nod as if to say, Sorry man, and moved along to follow after the Knight.

Somehow, probably with Jedi voo-doo, she managed to pretty much just walk the distance up two cars while Billy on the other hand, had to maintain at -least- three points of contact at all times, usually four, trying to keep both hands down on the side-railings that edged the walkway as he crawled up rather slowly (considering that Cnile had walked), making his way towards the Knight. At the gap between the two cars, Gamble jumped across without too much a hassle, though it was a bit scary. Anyone who said otherwise was... well... nevermind. Needless to say, Billy had a healthy respect for NOT falling between the cars and ending up getting ran over by the heavy wheels. Huh-uh, no Way!!

Catching up to the Knight, Gamble laid his hand lightly upon her back as he tried to speak up just loud enough for her to here, "I'm up an' ready!" Clearing his throat, he glanced over the side. KRATH!! That ground was going by FAST!! He gritted his teeth as he ensured his grip was firm, knuckles turning white and all as he could hardly wait to get -inside- the railcars. At least within, you didn't have too much worry about falling over the side or between the cracks and dying. Nope. Inside, you only had to worry about a hundred guys with blasters just waiting to unleash hell.

Oh yeah, that was -sooo- much more reassuring. Good thing he had a Jedi with him...

(I'm un-retired>.> I'll stay, promise)

Juisk nodded at his masters order, and turned to head back to the speeder. He saw Billys almost apologetic shrug, and gave one of his own as he passed by.

Arriving at the edge of the last car, he could see the speeder, as well as....something moving around inside it.

Frowning, he reached out with the force from his perch at the edge of the carriage roof, trying to determine what was in their speeder.

What he felt made his blood run cold. Or rather, what he couldn't feel. It was as if the car was devoid of life, completely and totally empty. The movements were too fluid for a droid, so....what was it?

Cnile was knelt at the edge of their target car, watching as Gamble worked his way forward. She regretted not having time to inform him why she'd sent Juisk back to the speeder, but time was of the essence. As Gamble made to the same cart edge as her, she simply nodded. Quickly dropping down, she landed on the small walkway between the two passengers cars. No sooner did she straighten her legs when the doors on either side of her whisked open.

There were four of them, pressed suits and dark sunglasses giving them a sense unity despite their diverse species. While she did absorb these things, her focus was not on them. Instantly she was drawn to the blasters they held ready, two pointed at her front, two at her back. She cursed to herself, her lightsaber next to useless hidden up her sleeve. The silence hung heavy in the air before it was finally cut by the thick accent of the Gran gunman, “'ello poppet. We'th been ethpecting you.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The form crawling about the inside of the speeder turned and looked straight at Juisk as he reached out with the Force, probing the speeder. It let loose a gutteral snarl, it's eyes full of reptilian fire as it's powerful legs coiled. All this happened within the blink of an eye, before it launched itself at the top of the cart, it's toothy maw spread wide as it's muscular tail thrashed behind it. To those few who paid attention to spacer-lore and cantina whispers, they'd have only one word for this creature. Vornskr.
(( :CFuu you delight in tormenting me...)
Juisk was surprised, to say the least.
He sprung backwards as the creature clawed it's way to the top of the carriage, claws ripping through the space he had occupied moments before.
His lightsaber sprung from his sleeve, and with a press of his thumb, the searing blue blade sprang into life as he dropped into a low Shii-cho ready stance.
Reaching out with the force, he felt it..faltering. He had never felt this before..... his palm shot forwards, towards the creature, and...nothing happened.
Frowning, more than a little disturbed, he tried again, and nothing happened once again.
With a hint of a sigh, he resumed his ready stance. This was not going to plan....
Aside from being a top pilot, within the top 20% of pilots within SOLAG, Billy excels at the use of his pair of krayt dragon pearl-handled blasters. He is a quick-draw specialist with incredible accuracy and a speed that would give a Jedi pause. Just as the doors slide open on either side of Cnile, the pretty Jedi Knight, Billy had drawn his blasters from his well-oiled nerf hide holsters that hung from each hip.
Just as a voice from the door beneath him (which he couldn't see due to the overhang) spoke to the Knight, Gamble had shot the two behind her nearly dead-center in the middle of their foreheads. Before their bodies could even hit the floor, Billy was already throwing his upper torso over the ledge of the car, setting himself to quickly aim-in at the other two gunmen. It would take less than half a second to aim-in as he brought his blasters to bear upon them...
((Leaving the rest of that to you Cnile))
((Just be glad we're not in Yuuzhan Vong timeline. I SO would have tossed a voxyn at you.))
An optimist would tell you that the worst part of a vornskr was their gaping maw full of needle sharp teeth was the worst the reptile had to offer. A cynical man, or as I like to call him a realist, would laugh at the optimist as he got slapped upside the head with the beast's tail. As the beast flew past Kuran, the whipping tail grazed inches from his face, the gust of wind shoved by the tail's movement noticeable even on the roof of the speeding train.
The creature landed with deft ease, spinning about to snarl at Juisk. Surprisingly though it didn't attack, it merely paced back and forth, as if attempting to make sure that Juisk didn't move off of the rear most cart.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Cnile smirked slightly at the Gran's threat, the moment of fear passing as she felt Gamble preparing to strike from above. “Thank the Force, the rain is deadly out here.” she quipped, just as the report of Gamble's blasters filled the air. As the gunmen came alight with flaming wounds, Cnile sensed the attention of the other two gunmen shift. Quickly drawing on the Force, Cnile tore the Gran and his compatriot downwards, wincing slightly at the sickening thud as they hit the rails beneath and were ground beneath the trains wheels.

Wiping a sizable chunk of Gran entrails from her face, she tossed the gooey brown mass to the ground and turned to Gamble. “Thanks for the save.” she said, pulling her lightsaber from her sleeve and igniting it. Quickly sliding to one side of the forward car, she closed her eyes, taking a sense of the entire train. Their were several aggressive minds moving up from the back of the train towards them. Their undisciplined minds and bloodlust lead Cnile to believe they were more like the gunman who just jumped her. From the front, she felt the more pointed minds of the federal militia, moving their way back towards the wounds of blaster fire. Her frown grew even more as sensed the alarm her Padawan was encountering. “Well, so much for stealth. Looks like we've got Federals, Gamble, at least a dozen coming from the front. We've also got about seven thugs like these moving up from the back.

(Wait...Vonsykrs are just as suspetible to the force as any other thing aren't they? It's Yasalamiri that create the bubble.)

Juisk ducked and spun as the vornskr shot over his head, it's tail passing mere centimetres from his face. As he came around to face the creature once more, he stood, in a copy of the position he had been in moments before.

He had, to be honest, no clue what to do. The force, while he could still feel it, simply had no effect on the creature, and it was quick enough that it could probably block most of his strikes.

It's a time like this...,he thought,Where a nice SOLAG operative with a pistol would work really well...

As the creature began to pace back and forth, it seemed clear that the creature didn't care what he did as long as he didn't leave the car.

Juisk deactivated his lightsaber and made a show of placing it on his belt, before kneeling down and placing his hands to either side of him, in a quasi-rendition of a jedi meditative stance.

And like this, he waited for the creature to move.

((Aye, but Vornskr's are force senstive. If one were trained, it's possible it'd be able to cloak itself similiar to a jedi :O )
