[Ninjedi]

Aran moved through the Jedi temple, as vehicles flew past the temple, on the large city on Coruscant, the Jedi capital. Nothing he had ever seen compared to Coruscant, its large buildings towering over the actual surface, which was rocky, and filled with lava. The temple on Coruscant was simply magnificent, one of the best he had seen. He had been trained as a child to control the force, and then made a padawan, and assigned to a master. The person who had taken the role of his master was unknown to Aran, he had not met him before. It was only certain that he was much better than him. His lightsaber was clipped to his side, ready for anything. He sighed as he took his first steps into the room where he was going to be trained. "End of the line." he whispered to himself, as he observed the room around him.

The room was colored red, white, and gold. Like the rest of the temple. Light shown through giant glass windows lining the walls, as large drapes where pushed to the side. The floor was large, with a large carpet in the middle of the room, going from the entrance, to another room next to it. A number of random objects where near the walls, things that would add to the look of the room. The room was warm, and comfortable. It made the persons in the room feel relaxed, with the light colors and such.

 

[Dmitri]

Zolotoy Tsviets strolled down the halls of the great temple of Coruscant. A Jedi Knight, he was off to train his first Padawan. He remembered back when he had still been a Padawan.

Zolotoy recalled what he knew about the Padawan. Aran'irer Grevar was a 36 year old human, older than Zol. The Padawan knew basic Force abilities but was, as the report stated, "extremely forgetful". The man knew Sorasu.

Zolotoy entered the room where Aran was waiting. Zolotoy stretched out his hand to be shaken.

"Nice to meet you, Padawan Grevar," greeted Zolotoy Tsviets. "I am Jedi Knight Zolotoy Tsviets, but you can call me Zol."

 

[Ninjedi]

Aran looked at his master. The man was shorter, and younger. He bowed, before the man introduced himself. "The feeling is mutual, I am Aran'irer, or Aran." He shook the mans hand. The man was a knight, obviously much more skilled than Aran. He hoped that the man would not offer to duel. "How shall we start?" He looked around the room, he was relaxed, feeling at home, but when he looked out the windows, he remembered bits of his childhood. Growing up in the large industrial city. Aran turned his attention back to his master, waiting for his training to continue.

 

[Dmitri]

Zolotoy sat cross-legged on the floor, allowing his student to do the same.

"I've read the report, but I'd like to hear from you," said Zolotoy. "Why did you join the Jedi Order? What form of lightsaber combat do you want to learn? What do you wish to learn here?"

 

[Ninjedi]

Aran sighed. "I joined the Jedi for the honor of serving in the Galactic Republics most prestigious peace keeping order, to better myself, and to fend off the Bogan and Hutt threat, using my force abilities. I would also like to learn something revolving more around attacks, than defense, lastly, I would like to learn the skills that would qualify me for the rank of Knight," He said. He looked out of the window, to see another vehicle pass by. "the things I'm required to learn." he finished.

 

[Dmitri]

"There are many things you can learn," said Zolotoy. "Trying to learn everything would result in you knowing everything, but being inadequete in everything. It would be smart to specialize in an area. What area do you believe will work the best?"

 

[Ninjedi]

Aran nodded at the Zol's comment. "Perhaps improve on my known force abilities, and learn a few more basic ones." He thought for a minute, trying to recall a lightsaber form that he could learn, one that interested him. "Perhaps the aggressive form Vaapad?" he said. Soresu was completely defensive, which Aran didn't fancy. He preferred a more offensive style of fighting. Soresu was brilliant, but strictly defensive.

 

[Dmitri]

Zolotoy unstrapped the lightsaber on his side and tossed it to Aran.

"That's a training lightsaber," said Zolotoy. "It's set to not kill."

He took out another training lightsaber. This one was two lightsabers that connected together to make a double-bladed lightsaber. Zol went into a defensive stance.

"Let's see how well you are now," said Zolotoy.

 

[Ninjedi]

Aran caught the training saber, activating it. A pillar of light came from the hilt. Shining a basic color of the Jedi lightsabers. He stepped back a bit and bowed to his master. He formed his Soresu opening stance, with his dominant hand forward, and his lightsaber hand in the back, while his dominate foot was back, and his weaker foot was forward, prepared for the endless waves of attacks from his master. "Shall we?" he said.

 

[Dmitri]

"By all means, go ahead," said Zolotoy.

Aran had chose an offense form, so Zolotoy was wanting to let his student have the first move.

 

[Ninjedi]

Aran ran forward, with his lightsaber protecting his torso. He ran quite quickly, and stopped abruptly in front of his master, he slashed downward at his masters lightsaber, and then jumped backward, forming a stance defending his torso once again.

 

[Dmitri]

Zolotoy smacked Aran's lightsaber way. He then disconnected the two lightsabers. He had one lightsaber slash at Aran's feet while the other aimed at the man's head.

 

[Ninjedi]

Aran blocked the blow to his head, taking the blow to his feet. He felt a slight burn in his feet, nothing to overwhelming. He formed a defensive stance, protecting his torso and legs and swung at his master once again, this time aiming for his torso, if it hit, the man would only feel a slight burn.

 

[Dmitri]

Zolotoy flipped his lightsabers upside down. He pincered Aran's lightsaber and yanked, attempting to take the lightsaber from the man's hands.

 

[Ninjedi]

Aran kept a tight grip on his lightsaber, and was able to keep it. He stepped backward and swung at his master, aiming for his torso.

 

[Dmitri]

Zolotoy used one lightsaber to block Aran's attack while he used the other to strike at Aran's leg again. He'd continue until Aran would lose his footing. Otherwise he'd try another strategy.

 

[Ninjedi]

Aran blocked the blow to the foot, and swung at his masters head, attempting to knock him off balance. If this did not work, Aran would have to switch strategies and fight more defensively.

 

[Dmitri]

Zol pincered Aran's lightsaber. He then retreated back a few feet.

"Very nice," complimented Zolotoy. "Just remember: the Bogan won't go easy on you. They'll annihilate you with everything you've got."

Zolotoy raised up a hand. He created a wall of energy utilizing the Force called Force Barrier.

"This is Force Barrier," explained Zolotoy. "Used wisely and you'll be able to use it defensively and offensively. Try to visualize a shield of energy radiating from your hand and make a barrier."

 

[Ninjedi]

His master stopped the duel. Commenting on Aran's fighting. The man created a wall of energy, and called it force barrier. Aran looked at it closely, examining everything about it. He outstretched his arm, and closed his eyes. He focused on nothing but the barrier. He could feel the force flowing around him. His eyes where shut for a minute or two, and then they opened. There was no barrier before him. He shut his eyes again, and cleared his mind of nothing but the barrier, with his arm still outstretched. With the familiar feeling of the force, Aran opened his eyes, to see a barrier of energy spread before him.

 

[Dmitri]

"Very good," complimented Zolotoy. He telekinetically raised his lightsaber and swung at the barrier to see if it was stable enough.
