Training sabers

Do the Sith Imperium and the New Jedi Order employ the use of training sabers? Like, a non-lethal variant of the lightsaber?

I don't know about the Sith, but the Jedi definitely do.

Sith HAVE training sabers, yes. But in most cases you will see them not used. A master will typically want their apprentice to get a Lightsaber as soon as possible and, after that, train them using live sabers.

But yeah the sith tend to learn and teach by pain, though the Jedi do use them.

Mira Albion seems to come to mind, although I imagine a lot of what she did was on an operating table.
