Trandosha...

Yaerius thought to himself the last time he had visited "Dosh", it was on an assignment under the Empire prior to his ascension to Inquisitor. At that time he was just a lowly acolyte and had been brought in company with a Sith Master to locate some pertinent artifacts. Even though it was only several years ago, time made it seem as eons had passed. He was not the same man as he is today. His Upsilon shuttle suddenly sparked out of hyperspace, hovering in the skies for a brief moment before finally descending towards Dosh' primary starport. A characteristic night owl, Yaerius had chosen to arrive in the middle of sleeping hours, landing approximately around 2:57 AM local time. Smoke billowed from the exhaust pipes as the landing gear slowly engaged and brought the vessel to a soft, gentle landing.

A Sith ship in the Alliance territory would definitely raise some questions and as expected, several officers advanced upon the shuttle. It was nothing out of ordinary operating procedure
Yaerius said to himself. Besides, he held no ill intentions towards the Trandoshans; sure the Empire and the FWA have had their differences, but he was here for an entirely different purpose. The shuttles ramp slowly split from the steel base, raising down in a counter clockwise manner until it clasped on the port ground with a small thud. A single figure walked down the ramp, his beskar mask was a distinctive sight while the dark affinity cloaks held a combination of black and grey patterns, signifying his position as a Sicarii Inquisitor. Yaerius carried a datapad in his left hand while the right was completely free; above the crook of his right shoulder could be seen several inches of sword hilt and crossguard. The weapon was holstered in its ornate, leather scabbard. A Sith Sword, desired blade of the Inquisitor as rumors spoke he preferred the feel of cutting flesh with steel than plasma.

Fingers gently swirled on the surface of the datapad before he handed the device towards one of the guards that would come to question him.
"Inquisitor Yaerius, I have come on official Imperial business. Please extend my greetings towards Senator Rrodossk. He is expecting me..."

The reptilian guard had taken the datapad and had given it a once over, before returning to a separate one and handed it to him. They spoke in Dosh back and forth, their hisses and guttural noises soft and quiet in almost a whisper. Then the original guard returned with the Datapad and handed it to the Inquisitior.

"Rrodossssssssk issss currently asssssleep, assssss he had expected you later in the day. You shall be excorted out to hissss abode, where you shall await hisssss pressssence in the morning. Then you shall meet him at the dining hall, after hisssss morning meal is finished, ssssso you may sssstart the day. Wait here for the transssport." The guard held the scattergun with one hand and put out the other clawed hand out to signify waiting.

After a few moments, N-47 Personnel Speeder had arrived. The vehicle was parked so the rear hatch opened and the Inquisitor could just enter, as did most of the guards. The one beside the Inquisitior seemed to be assigned to him, waiting for the Sith to enter. These guards also seemed not just to be Trandoshans. Some were armored and built differently, even a full on combat droid being in the mix. These weren't any guards... they were Rrodossk's hand picked Bounty Hunters.

Yaerius took the datapad back from the guard, looking briefly at the screen before shutting it off. He nodded lightly at the notion that Rrodossk was already asleep and that he would convene with the Senator in the morning. It was acceptable to the Inquisitor, after all, he didn't really expect the Reptile to be awake at such daunting hours, considering duties and roles of Senate representatives. "Very well, the shuttle contains important cargo which I wish to be delivered to the Senator. I assume it is safe for me to keep it locked here? I can send a droid to come get it tomorrow..." He said, motioning to the pilot of his ship to do so accordingly.

Yaerius took a step into the Personal speeder transport, plopping into the window seat with an assigned guard next to him. Armored finger pressed the button to the window, letting it drop as he allowed the smells and winds of Dosh to lick against his masked face as they travelled. The abode was a rather large palace, covered in foliage characteristic of their natural swampland terrain. The transport shuttle parked gently at the front lobby doors, circular pathway leading into what Yaerius assumed was one of the large living rooms. Moving slowly, Yaerius approached the attendant at the front doors and bowed gently. "Inquisitor Yaerius, I am supposing that I will stay here for the night until Rrodossk is ready for me tomorrow?" He asked, looking over his shoulder briefly to notice his assigned guard still standing a few paces behind him.

The somewhat younger Trandoshan that greeted the man seemed not happy at seeing the Sith enter. His eyes were nearly as orange as a sunset on Tattoine, and seemed to burn even brighter as they were slightly squinted. They were angry, almost like a guard dog. If the Senator spoke a word this one may just jump and kill the Sith with his bare hands, he looked that furious. Yet his soft cream scaled hide stood there, wearing one of his many uniquely, yet still plain and subdued, styled outfits and taking in this being.

"You may call me Yossssssk," the youthful Trandoshan hissed, his hushed leathery voice oozing with malice and concept, "but I hope you do not have to call me that for long. Take note I wasssss the one who told my father thissss was an awful plan. If you try to harm him, or if thissss goesssss ssssouth in any way, do note I will be the one consuming your internal organssss asssss you ssssscream for your life. But if everything goesssss well, you will not even notice I exisssssst. Now, hand over your lightsssssaber. You will have it returned to you at the end of your visssssit." The malice left his voice as soon as he made himself crystal clear. One of his clawed hands was extended outwards, ahead of him, as he waited for the blade. Only then could he go on with his small speech, but for now he simply waited.

The troop of guards also entered the building behind the Sith, talking in a garbled mess of various languages though still not raising their voices. The group peeled off into many smaller passageways around the room, moving to who knows where. The interior of this living space was massive, though mostly lacking in furniture.

What was interesting was it seemed to be two leveled, one that was for the entry way and another that was for another portion of the house. A couple of steps led between them, but but built into a large portion is a round, white couch. In the center was a large, circular fireplace that was even lit at this hour. On the walls were tapestries of ancient Trandoshan myth, legend, and history. The largest of them seemed to be the life story of Cradossk and his son Bossk, some of the most famous Bounty Hunters in history. Beyond the woven works of art, a few sculptures of wood, stone, and metal littered the grounds to make a visually appealing, yet odd entryway. Trandoshan interior design is weird, but atleast it has some class.

Truthfully, Yaerius didnt know what he should be expecting as he took a step inside the Trandoshan's home. Eyes scanned through the large living room while armored fingers carefully slid across the couch's leather surface. The interior detail was quite unusual and not like he had seen in the past but it did harbor some degree of luxury and opulence. He did however have to take into consideration the differing tastes of the Reptilian species. Shifting his attention, he looked back upon the Senator's son, Yossk and nodded towards the guard politely.

"Very well Yossk. Here.." He said, as he removed the Sith warblade from his back and handed it to the Trandoshan. "I do not carry any lightsabers, I prefer the feeling of cutting flesh with a blade than I do with plasma.." Spoken bluntly but in an odd way, Yaerius felt that perhaps Yossk would be in agreement with such a sentiment. "Your father has a very lovely home." Taking a few steps inwards, the Inquisitor explored with his eyes being slightly careful not to overstep his welcome and venture into rooms that were off-limits. Glancing in the hallway to a set of open lights, Yaerius turned back to Yossk. "I presume that my quarters are this way?" He jutted with his chin in the direction of the guest rooms. "Tell me, what kind of food is preferred as a snack late at night?"

The youth tool the blade in his clawed hands, turning it over and analyzing it for himself. The blade was solid and strong, possibly quite lefty for many humans but for a Trandoshan it was more on the lighter side. He then put the blade under his arm as he nodded slowly, motioning a clawed hand down the doorway as he walked down it.

"Your weapon is quite impresssssssive, very unussssual consssssidering your people'ssssss culture. If you were not a guesssssst of my father I might keep the blade, but luckily for you he hasssss you under hisssssss protection." Yossk was practically spitting venom as he spoke, his displease with this arrangement growing by the second. Yet the loyalty to his father was stronger than any rage or disgust, which was rather odd for a Trandoshan.

"You shall be staying in this room. If you do not like it... well I'm sorry but all of our guest quarters in this room are the exact same. For food, there should be a wall-mounted comlink. Most of the staff is asleep by now but I am sure we can gather you something... edible with our skeleton crew." The room wasn't small by any regard, but compared to the living room it was rather tight. It was full of wood and very natural shades. There was a small desk built into the wall, along with a bookshelf built beside the bed and a table on the opposite wall. Beside the door was a comlink, set up similar to an intercom except with several rooms that could be selected from. All the options written in Dosh of course, with smaller Aurebesh underneath.
