Retto ran as fast as his small legs could carry him. With aid of the Force, that was actually quite a formidable speed. Some remarkable information had been bestowed upon him in a dream, and he needed council from Dewbacca. Normally he could interpret his own dreams with meditation and reflection, but something in this dream had come true the minute he awoke. There were scenes of annihalation and carnage in his vision, of sorrow and death, and at the end the image of an ornary datapad.

Datapads were something Retto was rather shy around. He didn't trust their information for some reason, a reason not known to himself even. However, when he awoke there sat a datapad on his bedside table: a datapad that he had never owned. However, a small note beside the device revealed who the item was addressed to. It was to be carried to the Grandmaster Dewbacca, and for some reason the Force had given it to Retto. Now running through the Temple, the Tynnan Jedi could only hope he reached the Grandmaster before it was too late.

Dewbecca was walking though the temple , deep in thought as he always was. A great many things were going on in the galaxy at the moment but these were not the things Dewbecca was pondering on, Dewbecca learned long ago that thinking and doing were vastly different.

However, food was what was consuming his thoughts. What to eat on such a wonderfully terrible day with rain slashing, lightning thundering down. However, the force took him swiftly as he saw a jedi running towards him. Dewbecca stopped as the force gripped the young man with strong emotions.

"Master Dewbacca!" Retto called out. It was rare for the usually calm Tynnan to be such a frantic mess. He stopped running once he was close enough to speak calmly again, yet his voice was now tranquil, the intense stress and worry in his soul was as subtle as a Rancor on stims.

"Master Dewbacca, the datapad has been adressed to you. I tried to open it, but it needs to be inserted into a holoprojector. There is one in my room, but I wasn't going to watch it without you present. Things are going wrong, Master. I had a vision, and then found this device."

"Calm down Retto, calm down indeed. The datapad can wait as I am interested in this vision. What vision are you talking about? What did it involve?"

Dewbecca placed a comforting paw onto Retto's shoulder, he knew from his time with the species of this galaxy that this was seen as comforting, at least he hoped. You could take the wookiee from Kashyyyk ....

The touch did indeed calm him down. Retto took a few deep breaths in order to speak more clearly. The dream's images were intensely vivid, yet they appeared in no particular order. More hectic flashes of pictures than anything.

"It was horrific. I saw carnage that spread across several worlds! I saw the death of many Jedi, and of many innocents. Coruscant was in flames, our temples were razed to the ground. The...the worst part was, I didn't just see it, I-I felt it. I felt it through the Force, as if it were real."

Dewbecca listened intently, the words coming from his mind spoke of something very random, there was nothing going on in the galaxy to suggest such devastation but he was not lying and he clearly had sch a vision, visions for jedi were rare, mysterious and omens of the future.

"Ok, what was it that sparked this vision? Was it something that struck you suddenly or did some trigger it?"

"I-it came to me in my sleep," Retto said unabashedly, "but Master, it was no dream. I do not have dreams. I never have them. However, I truly did feel these events with all the gravity and magnitude as if it were really happening. The datapad was in the vision, Master."

The short Tynnan Jedi truly despised being in this state. He was known for being a calm and even minded person, yet now he was jittery and kept looking over his shoulder. For what? He did not know. Perhaps the impending destruction. Perhaps an assassin sent to destroy him for knowing what was to come. Or perhaps his nerves were just shot from the vision. Whatever it was, Retto had to admit that it was getting the better of him.

"The most important thing you must remember is that a vision is only one possible future, it ws given to you to try and stop it from happening, that is the most important thing you must remember"

Dewbecca took his hand away from his shoulder and towards the datapad taking it slowly and gently as he could, he looked it over before it activated quickly with text scrawled up and down it, before reading it he handed it to Retto.

"What does it say Retto?"

"I-Its encrypted...for the most part. My name is mentioned, so is yours, and another name. Javiik. I had training under Master Huang with him. We need to put it in a projector, Master Dewbacca."

Retto didn't wait for Dewbacca's approval to walk to the nearest holoprojector. They lined the hallway every few hundred meters, and fortunately wasn't too far away. However, the powerful Tynnan did register his superior's words and took them to heart. At least there was a chance to stop his vision. Inserting the datapad, he turned back and looked at the Wookiee.

"May I play the transmission, Master Dewbacca?"

An encrypted message to three random jedi, only two of them with any real links whatsoever, what an odd and strange coincidence that seemed, of course there ws no such thing when the force was involved but Dewbecca was most intrigued as to what the projector said.

"Indeed, I want to know what this is about"

Retto nodded and clicked the option to play the transmission. Instantly a loud burst of static came on with images of blaster fire and screams. This carried on for several minutes until all fell silent and a cloaked figure appeared. Only two groups, the Jedi and the Fallen, were approached in such a manner. Only those who could wield the Force would truly understand the gravity in this manner.

"This is a message for the ears of Grandmaster Dewbacca. Of course by now, Retto Veraber will be present as well. It would have been foolish on my part to try and contact the Grandmaster directly.

I have chosen one, originally, and that is you, Wookiee. I did not wish you to fall victim to the hazards of what you are required to do, so I requested two bodyguards. Mere bodies to absorb firepower, if you will. Your rodent-like minion has been imparted with what I have seen as a warning.

I will make my point clear: you, and your ilk, are in danger. So are your enemies. So are your allies. There is a threat, hidden deep in the dark places of the galaxy, that threatens every living thing. Your help is quintessential. I have recruited more, with varying skills, to help you. This message is far to vague for your liking, I know, but I will contact you within the hour so you may ask your questoins. Understand that you have no choice in this matter."

"Well not to say what this man already knows but that was far to vague, the first thing that springs to mind is that this is complete rubbish"

Dewbecca's translation droid finished the sentence as his finger was drawn to his chin...pondering...thinking.

"However. your vision seems to negate that fact, this is clearly not rubbish and this man clearly has some ability with the force. The man must of imparted the §vision in to yor mind or someone the man knows....But all I am doing is thinking out loud as you were the one with the vision Retto, tell me what you think"

Retto had to think hard on this. He thought hard out of more procedure than need. He knew that the dream was real, although he had to admit, the poor convincing power of the transmission did naught to help his point. Perhaps that was done deliberately. Perhaps not.

"I felt the pain, Master Dewbacca. I felt the sorrow. I felt the loss."
The Tynnan nodded solemnly, "It was genuine."

Dewbecca nodded solenmly as he listened to Retto, odd situations like this always seemed to pop up at such random times

"Then all we can do is wait Retto, you however look like you need to recuperate as this whole experience seems to of taken a lot out of you both physically and mentally. Once this....man has made contact again I will call for you, is that acceptable to you?"

"Yes Master Dewbacca." Retto said with a smile of admiration and repsect. This Wookiee was more Jedi in his ways then the rest of the order put together, at least that was his view. Such power, repsect, fairness, and compassion in the gargantuan mammal's aura was testimony to the fact that he was a true Grandmaster.

The Tynnan Jedi, who didn't even come up to his superior's waistline, bowed and retreated back to the direction of his room. Unknowing when the contact would arrive, Retto hoped that he could at least get some sleep.

Dewbecca sat down near the holo projecter and began playing the message over and over again, at first he did not have time to greatly analyze the the message, see if he could gain any information form the holo that he was not supposed to, it seemed a tall order as he very much doubted he would learn anything his new friend didn't want him to.

"You plan on spending a lot of time on that thing?" A voice asked from the darkness. It wasn't threatening, but cocky and urban. However, the bearer of the voice had a presence of power around it.

"The Shadow Broker wasn't lying when he said he'd contact you shortly. Don't bother waking the Tynnan, he's just a pawn in all this. Whether or not he accompanies you into the face of death is between the two of you. In the end, only your presence is required."
