Turlanis Turains
Personality: Turlanis is at best, unapproachable. His upbringing has made him stand-offish. On top of his natural temperament, Turlanis is also a recovering spice-addict, causing a slight imbalance of hormones in his brain. His long-time addiction to the sandy-colored spice known as Giggledust has provided him with a morbid sense of humor. Other spices have caused him to become distant, and even somewhat dull. For the most part, Turlanis' mind is a cluttered and loud place, however, he finds clarity in rage. The Dark Side gives him focus, further increasing his desire for power and enlightenment in the Force.

Biography: Turlanis Turains was born to Camara Turains on Nar Shadaa. His mother was a casual user of spices, as was his father, leaving Turlanis with a pre-disposition to the substance. Turlanis grew up in the mid-levels of Nar Shadaa under the influence of the lesser Hutts who ruled there. There he grew into a degenerate. He was addicted to drugs, jobless, and homeless for the most part. His life was about friends, women and spice. All fun and games, until someone gets shot. At the age of seventeen Turlanis became involved in thievery. He and his gang of friends stole from anyone, from everyday citizens, to spice dealers. All it took was a couple of mean words and a few shakes of the blaster pistol, and bam, easy credits. Life was good, until they stole from the wrong scumbag; particularly, a scumbag employed by the Hutts.

Turlanis soon discovered that the Hutts don't take kindly to thieves. Thugs beat Turlanis and his gang, stole every credit and possession on their persons, and then taught them a lesson they would never forget. Most of them perished from their injuries; broken bones, punctured lungs and bruises upon bruises. Something within Turlanis, as degenerate, and degraded a human being he had grown to become, had kept him alive. Something dark willed Turlanis on.

Turlanis' face would never truly recover. His lips were severed from his face by vibro-knife and his nose had been removed altogether. Multiple scars adorn his battered face in remembrance of this transition. Bandages cover his face to hide the deformities. Despite his injuries, Turlanis couldn't help but feel somehow enlightened. He had never felt pain and such hate before, and never had focus with such ease. At the price of his face, Turlanis was looking at the galaxy through new eyes; darker eyes.

It wasn't long until Turlanis discovered even more. He could use his hate, feel his pain and manifest it. He could move objects, even only if at a rudimentary level. Turlanis may have never gone to school, but he wasn't stupid. He knew about the Sith and the Empire, and he had heard rumors about the things they could do.

Perhaps it's time that Turlanis do something with his life...

Strengths and Weaknesses: Turlanis has not been cared-for, mentally. Others usually begin to question their trust in him, his integrity, and even his stability. His recovering drug addiction and his natural issues make him a difficult person to work with. Despite this, he is intuitive and quick-thinking, and able to work his way out of a sticky-situation. He knows his way around the streets, his way around a blaster and his way around a fist-fight (though now he shows much less tolerance for being punched in the face than he did before.) Turlanis doesn't show as much interest in lightsaber combat as he does in the ways of the Dark Side of the Force.
