Cabe walked into the Mos Eisley spaceport with his droid not far behind. "Come on Vee-Tee. We're burning daylight." Cabe said. He said as he looked up at the suns hanging low in the sky, a few hours from sunset. He waved down a taxi and told the driver to take them to the nearest cantina.

Cabe watched as the crowds started leaving the nearby track. It was a pod-racing day, and he decided it would be best if he got into the cantina before the crowds, cause there'd be bet winners using there winnings to get drunk and losers looking for fights.

He exited the taxi when it came to his stop. He hooked Vee-Tee up to the charging station outside the cantina and walked inside.

He ordered a drink and waited. A one or two people bumped into him, but luckily were too drunk to start a fight. He grabbed his drink from the bartender and threw him a few credits. He then made his way to the back of the bar to one of the booths and sat there waiting for the rush of race watchers to come in. He needed a pilot, and this was the best time to find one.

Herrith was sat at the bar counter, drinking and enjoying the cantina experience. Why was she back at Tatooine? Frankly, she had no idea. She'd been in this area before, wasn't anything special. Just got homesick, she supposed. Or maybe it was cause the drinks were cheap. At least, they were cheap now. Last time she was here, she was dead broke and couldn't even buy dirt.

Guess times change. The Zeltron eyed certain bargoers, remembering the times she was so desperate for a job that she would literally beg anyone. Not anymore. Herrith had been lucky lately.

And hopefully that luck didn't run out.

Cade had spent the majority of the day getting heavily on the pod races for the day, coming out just a little on top of what he had come in with. "Any time you wall away with more than you came in with is a good day.." he said to one of the two Twi'Lek girls he had his arms around. Their overplayed laughs, while cute, also displayed his money was all they were spending time with him for.

Walking into a cantina he'd been in a few times before, Cade noticed a familiar bright pink beacon. Suddenly losing interest in the pair of Twi'Leks he let his arms fall from their waists, and walked quickly up to the bar. Placing his left hand on the bar and his right hand on the Zeltron's back,"Herrith.." he acknowledged her before ordering two whiskies,"I didn't think I'd see you on this old dust ball again." He said before offering her a short hug. The memories of their meeting started flooding back to him. A small smile spread across his face,"It's good to see you!" Herrith was one of Cade's true friends, not that Cade couldn't make friends, just that most of the people who make up this galaxy shouldn't be trusted, but to Cade, Herrith wasn't one of those people.

Sal sat in the cantina, while other spent their days at the races, the Selonian spent his day with his friend....the Cantina, and his girls "Flameout" (double shot) and a single shot of whiskey....oh and his good friend Tic. His deep connection to the underworld of galaxy.

Tic was from these parts, born from a Tusken father and a jawa mother. Quit a mix don't you think? His smaller stature, many over looked but his temper was quit hard to pass up. The little firecracker had a tendancy to pick a fight much more than he could chew, and well Sal had to sometimes finish it.

Today The two sat together drinking watching bar goers come and go, spilling more drinks than they were able to consume. Despite the Selonian being a mercenary, he tended to be on the cleaner side. He didn't like well....a mess. And a mess this cantina was getting, the more and more patrons poured in after the race.

"This should get interesting, what ya think Tic?"

Sal said quietly leaning forward. Chuckling Tic nodded, but was cut short as he spotted a man (@Cable) sit a neighboring booth. Tic wasn't the talkative type, and people weren't his flavor. Quit the Duo they were, but loyal companions none the less. Many said blood is thicker than water, well in this case. Their Friendship despite their differences wasn't one to trifle with.

Their real presence in the cantina wasn't a day full of drinking and spending credits but more on the fact of supplies. Tic was downloading his ship from various goods he scavenged in the outskirts of Tatooines rim but uploading a few....other "goods" that well let's just say require specially forged paperwork and a few hidden compartments.

Cabe downed his drink and made his way back to the bar to order a new drink, when he bumped into two Twi-leks women, one of which slapped him in the face. Cabe, enraged, his hand immediately flew to the handle of his powerfoil before stopping himself and apologizing. He then ordered both Twi-leks some food, and grabbed a drink from the bar and made his way back to his booth before a man in a Sith Imperial uniform approached him.

"Cabe Dawn."
said the man.

"Who wants to know?"

"Commander Mercer, that's who."

Crap.

Cabe then replied, "Commander, sir, I..."

"I don't want to hear it. You were supposed to report to the Academy a week ago for basic training and your orientation session."
Mercer then grabbed Cabe by the collar and said, "The Empire does not take too kindly to people who defy orders..."

"Herrith..I didn't think I'd see you on this old dust ball again."

A vague familiar voice came from her left and she tensed up slightly from a hand on her back before she identified who it was and turned her head. There sat a Squib, and a familiar one at that. She smiled but didn't move as Cade hugged her, then elbowed him in the shoulder slightly as he spoke.

"It's good to see you!"

"Nice to see you too, ye little rodent. Enjoying the locals, I noticed."

Herrith wrinkled her nose in mock disgust and took a sip of whiskey as it was served. Good to see old friends.

"Nice to see you too, ye little rodent. Enjoying the locals, I noticed."

"I dabble a bit.." Cade said with a laugh before taking his own swig of the knock off whiskey. He'd never been too much of a lady killer, and his sudden lack of interest in the Twi'Leks was becoming more and more obvious.

Behind the pair a little bit a couple of men were getting into it at a table,"...You were supposed to report to the Academy a week ago for basic training and your orientation session." Academy..

"Oh look another Jedi tool.." Cade said elbowing his furry arm into Herrith's arm.

How wrong Cade had judged the situation became apparent with the man's next statement,"The Empire does not take too kindly to people who defy orders..." Cade's typically smiling and joyful face turned to stone when he heard the word 'Empire' this man was not a friend. And the man he was yelling at(@Cable) seemed to share Cade's sentiment based on his physical reaction.

Cade's hand instinctually gripped his CMBP-12 as he whispered to Herrith,"We might have a problem."

Cabe gripped his powerfoil and said, "I..." The Commander interrupted him and said with stone cold malice, "I don't want to hear it. You will be taken to Coruscant where you will be arrested and imprisoned for violating a military contract."

Oh, Hell.

Cabe grabbed his powerfoil and smacked Mercer in the face with the hilt. He then readied his powerfoil and activated the vibroblade. Mercer stumbled back and reached for his blaster. Cabe reacted and pressed the foil up to his neck, stopping a few inches from the flesh. "Don't try it... Unless you want a new breathing hole." said Cabe.

Mercer backed up against the wall, his dominant features dissipated, his eyes filled with fear. He started to stutter, but Cabe moved the foil closer. "Give me a reason... just one... as to why I shouldn't kill you. Right here. Right now."

Sal and Tic sat keeping to themselves until a disturbance erupted. To what seemed to be an imperial officer commanding a civilian to what the duo could see.

"What the frock is going on now?!"

Sal firmly mutters. Rising to his feet, tics hands snapped on both his blasters. Noticing his companion he followed suit.

"What the force Tic....why get involved..."

Reaching down to his side the Selonian slowly snagged his plasma rifle and quietly shouldered it at the low ready. Watching the door the mercenary was emulating an assault from "back up". Sal hated to hurt people, also hated to get into other people's business....specially hurting people in other people's business....But Tic had other plans apparently.

Tocs only motive was, there was an imperial officer in close proximity and well he didn't want any trouble with his transaction going on down the port when he tried to leave. That's if anything serious erupted within these four walls. But none the less the two had no idea what was going on or even if it truly concerned their job or not.

"I dabble a bit.."

Herrith scoffed, downing what remained of her whiskey and replied.
"Yeah, Twi'leks are easy, though."

Then he elbowed her, gesturing to two men in an argument about an Academy.
"Oh look another Jedi tool.."

As much as she would have taken offense to that, those guys didn't seem like Jedi. Exley or any one of the Jedi she knew was a testament to that. When one of the arguing men hissed about the Empire, the Zeltron felt more than saw Cade's sudden change of mood.
"We might have a problem."

She shook her head and ordered another drink.
"It's the Legion. Don't expect anything better-"

Then the man that was getting yelled at drew his weapon, putting the device up to what must've been his mentor's neck and backing him up to the wall.
"Now there's a problem. Easy with that blaster, Cadey-boy. Might stir up more trouble than we need."

Cabe slowly leaned over and took the Commander's blaster from it's holster, and then smacked him over the head with it. Mercer crumpled to the floor, bleeding. Cabe was about to speak when his hand started to tremble, making Cabe drop the blaster.

He clasped his hands together trying to make them stop shaking. Mercer, terrified and, not having noticed that Cabe had dropped the blaster, started to crawl away. "Oh, no you don't." said Cabe, his hands still shaking as he jabbed his powerfoil at Mercer.

Mercer screamed as Cabe stabbed him in the arm. "Damn it." Cabe said as he looked up to the people at the bar. "I was aiming for his back." Suddenly, another officer stormed into the bar with an armed escort of two troopers. "Stop this instant, miscreant." said the officer as the troopers raised there guns. Realizing that there were other people in the line of fire, Cabe dropped his powerfoil and raised his hands.

Well, Crap.

Herrith watched the brief altercation with a raised eyebrow. An Imp fighting an Imp? That was rare. Then a squad of more Legionnaires flooded into the bar and she cleared her throat, pointing with a slight finger at the squad.
"That...is why you stay easy with that blaster. Wait it out, we might be able to help this little traitor out for some credits."

The Zeltron eagerly watched the scene, waiting for the right moment to step in and grab the guy that had just beat his commanding officer.

Tic was getting antsy as the two imperials began to scuffle. The Jawa loved some excitement and well....blood. Sal on the other hand the more level headed one was getting nervous. Sure the former Soec ops soldier gone mercenary had seen his fair share of war and blood shed but not like this, THIS always led to trouble.

And sure enough....more of the plague of soldiers decided to make themselves known and entered the bar, guns at the ready, aiming at the runaway.

"Oh no!"

Sal muttered, with both Tic and the Selonian putting away their blasters instantly. Not trying to draw to much attention they slowly sat down and began to duck a little behind the table. Unsure of everything that was happening. Sal hated dilemmas and well this was quit the dilemma. And well as much as he hated imperials....he was willing to help out a defector any second he could....just had to find the time and place, and well this wasn't its moment to shine

As a handful of soldiers poured into the bar Cade quickly turned back to face the bar,"Too many red coats..." He said with a snicker,"We'll have to bide our time, we're currently out gunned.." Cade said, not knowing he in fact had two friends in the bar. Cade took the clasp off his blaster's holster in case he needed to draw it in a flash. A couple of handfuls of imperials was never a good thing to have around, but Cade knew he needed to help the man who was trying to run,"Wait till they start walking him out, and we'll make our move.." Cade continued to whisper.

Cabe turned around to let the Imperials cuff him, as the officer told him he was most likely going to be executed. Cabe turned back around and shrugged. "I wouldn't have guessed any other punishment." The officer slapped him as one of the troopers dragged Officer Mercer out of the bar. "You're very touchy, aren't you." The officer scowled at him, pointing to the door for the trooper to escort him outside. As the trooper walked into the doorway, Cabe whistled, and Vee-Tee came barreling into the bar, smacking the trooper to the ground. Outside, you heard the other trooper yell and footsteps running. Cabe smashed the cuffs into the door controls, closing the door. He turned towards the officer and the trooper, who had lost his blaster in the scuffle, and said, "Here we go."

The traitorous Imperial was cuffed and berated as he was escorted out of the bar. Then a droid came tumbling inside via a whistle and took a guard down, the officer who had taken the traitor into custody now defenseless, and Herrith swore she saw a smile on the now free man's face. Just a hint of one. However, more boots clacked on the ground outside, and the Zeltron turned to her friend before drawing two knives from her sleeves.

"Here we go."

As the first Legion trooper entered the bar, she had already sprung off of a table, landing on him and driving the knives into his chest before rolling to the left and avoiding a blaster bolt headed her way before kicking the pointman's rifle in the air and catching it, her knives having been back in the dead guy's chest. She powered on the rifle, or more accurately blaster shotgun, and peeked out to find herself face to face with another man.

"Hi." She smacked him in the face with the muzzle of the shotgun before firing the beast into his chest and ducking back into cover.
"Hey, Cade, you got a thermal det? That would be ideal in this scenario!"

Cade watched the events unfold as he readied his CMBP-12. Herrith had flown off of a table.. She's changed a lot... Cade thought, remembering the young Pink girl he had met so long ago, on this very same planet.

"Hey, Cade, you got a thermal det? That would be ideal in this scenario!"

This girl... Cade thought as be pulled one of the dozens of grenades from his person, this one being a grenade bouquet consisting of a
Thermal Detonator and two M-K Assualt Grenades. Cade pulled on the wire, activating all three grenades and tossed it out the door.

Cade tool advantage of the chaos to down his drink really quick, before joining his friend in sending a few bolts from his blaster pistol out the door towards whatever was out there.

As the scuffle endured Tic hopped up on the Bar and let out a very happy and excited screech. Opening fire he blindly began sending bolts towards the door. Tic knew it was over for trying to get off the planet peacefully, so now they had to assist in getting rid of the troopers with the help of the other three since once the fight began, Everyone would be interviewed and scanned and well. Tic would pop up seeing as his deep connections within the underworld.

“Great!...”

Sal firmly yelled as the bolts blasted around their position. Flipping the table he began to use it as cover sending a few rounds doin range towards a few troopers.

“I think it’s time we fled Tic?!.......Tic???!!!!”

The Selonian began looking around the bar only to see tic what looked like to be dancing on top of the bars island kicking drinks and he shot openly.

“Oi?! You gotta aim that thing!!!”

He yelled trying to get the little mans attention. But unfortunately he was to caught up in all the excitement he didn’t pay mind.
