Tyler was a former contractor for many of the Hutt Cartels, and at times, a private hire by the the New Sith Imperium. Working his way across the galaxy, there were many jobs in which Tyler reflected upon the way in which living beings interacted. Deciding ultimately that the New Sith Imperium was a definitive force of cruelty and wrath in the galaxy, and that total freedom was the only way to pursue happiness, the former contractor decided to seek the Rebellion and aid in the overthrowing of the Empire and its malevolent government. Personality Tyler's personality is intrinsic to say the least. While he does not go out of his way to be anti-social, he much prefers the quiet and internal reflections that come from being either alone, or with a spotter in a sniper's nest. Rather volatile and easy to anger, he decided that he would be best away from people when at all possible. However, when he is not combative or angry, Tyler is a rather agreeable person. He believes in genuine kindness and empathy, believing that personal strength is the sum of yourself and those who support you. If a situation calls for him to be outgoing, he certainly tries his best. Not very well, but he'll give it his best shot. Beliefs Tyler has grown to hate forms of control. This usually defines itself as being any sort of government. This belief was spawned through his witnessing, and hand in, Sith actions. His belief that joining the Rebellion to overthrow the Imperium is only a temporary ideal. With the government in disarray, and the diversity of the Rebellion's makeup, he believes that the Rebellion will be unable to establish an overarching government by itself and will leave the galaxy's various planets and colonies to govern themselves. While not as nice as complete anarchy, it's a step in the right direction. If the Sith are gone, it is easier to try to clean up the smaller problems that concern violations of basic rights, such as slave trading. While not fully public with his views, he will gladly spout off his personal manifesto if it ever comes up or is asked of him. Above all else, he considers freedom and kindness to being the source of strength in an individual. He is very wary of karma. Biography Tyler was born in Mos Eisley to parents he never quite knew. As soon as he could walk and talk, he was sold off to one of the numerous arms of the Hutt Cartel in the area to be raised and used as they saw fit. His education was fairly basic, thankfully. His handlers were kind enough to not be too cruel, but were not very relaxed in his care as well. Whenever his build allowed him to be able to hold a rifle, they would utilize him in various jobs as overwatch. Him being a child allowed him to move among crowds and get into locations unnoticed, benefitting his handlers. Growing up and gaining more experience, Tyler could only continue to do what he was best at, long-range work. As his skills vastly improved, many organizations and factions began to notice and employ him for contractual work. Eventually he caught the eyes of the Imperium and was placed on a job that he completed...yet would rather not talk about or remember entirely. Despite Tyler's background, he's rather stable given the static nature of his upbringing. Truth be told, he finds his history to be monotonous. Job after job, marksman lesson after marksman lesson. Abilities Tyler is an exceptional sniper. Being raised under his cartel handlers came with that benefit, at the least. During jobs, he has never missed a mission-critical mark. Not only this, but he's rather capable in a fisticuffs brawl given his musculature and personal training regiment. His infiltration and stealth skills have dwindled since his growing up, but still remain rather above average when he needs to find his way to a set-up to provide overwatch. Unfortunately, his capability in melee weapons and even close-range blaster combat is very underwhelming given his little actual experience in it. His infiltration and tracking skills, stemming from his upbringings in infiltration and assassination, are rather adept. This leaves him with exceptional skills in utilizing electronics to his advantage when needing to get into an area or find a mark's location. Unfortunately, his skills in electronics mirror his skills in mechanics. Tyler, under no circumstance, should ever be given a wrench and orders to work on a speeder. Equipment Tyler utilizes a very small amount of tools to accomplish any task assigned to him in the notion of helping the rebellion. G-PAP (General Purpose Anti-Personnel) Sniper Rifle Type: Ballistic Slug-Thrower Ammunition: 7.62x51mm Weight: 8kg Magazine Capacity: 6 Effective Range: 1200m Description: Built with standard rifle materials like aluminum and durasteel, a simple bolt-action rifle dialed in for long range accuracy and stopping power, the G-PAP's focus lies in eliminating medium, light-armored and unarmored organic targets in one shot to the center of mass within its effective range. This is not always the case on the field, but it at least hits the mark reliably. Within its effective range, it can puncture light armor with a direct hit. However, anything above this causes issue. Reliably, it will only pierce (with a single shot) medium armored organics at a range of 600m, if not a bit less. The rifle is utterly useless against most military vehicles, save for perhaps a round launched through an exposed viewport.
