From what I remember, the Peacekeeper is the only example of it's specific class remaining. So there's a story reason it can't be used by other people.

The Accord has Hammerheads and that is Republic faction tech, for example.

I just gave one example. I know there are a lot of others. Personal Armor, weapons that are faction only, or mando only. *shrugs* Go look at Shal's tech thingy. You can see that.

I think restricting tech, for story reasons, is fine. But, i'm running a thread with @Elijah Brockway , if he ever replies to it, to give him a story reason for getting Mandalorian armor, and I said @Taz could get an Accord gunship because i signed off on a story reason for getting one. Then, there's no real reason why someone can't have a piece of tech, and it just benefits the site.

But most of this is a moot point. if @Ecclessey says there's a good story reason for only the chosen to have one, i'm inclined to believe him. And there's no reason saying people have to agree with my own mentality for techs place in the story.

The shipyards on Roon are modest, not anything like Kuat in the slightest, and the designs are only two years old. How much sense would it make, with a long storyline embedded, that this ship would suddenly pop up everywhere and be used by everyone? None.

Why can't you two just respect and accept that we want this ship for ourselves? Want a frigate everyone can use? Make it. One of you is a self-appointed tech guru so I'm sure he's capable enough.

Most of which are one of a kind or can be used with a good enough reason by non-Mandos.

Emil has a set of Mandalorian armor, yet she isn't s mando. But her father was.

If you want to discuss the why and how an affiliated tech piece might get into the hands of the unaffiliated, I'd recommend discussing it here or here.

@Kiro @Clayton this is supposed to be the frigate we won during Weiss's tournament but we're still waiting on this. Is there anything needs edits? No staff had touched this and it's been over a month.

@Arclight - Remove either the Ion Cannon, or you can remove the Turbolasers AND the Torpedo Bay, and you'll be good to go.
