Target: Cammon Tonno (NPC)
Wanted: Dead
Bounty: 75,000 Credits
Contractor: Anonymous
Target is the current Prime Minister of Ankus
Can be found on the planet of Ankus
Is Anti-Sith and Anti-Republic
Has personal bodyguard regiment after other threats on his life.
Bonus 50,000 Credits if evidence is planted that the republic was involved.

Ankus, Mid Rim Territories

D3-EZ awaited it's delivery to the requested planetary system. It's sensors indicated that the hired smuggler's ship had ceased sublight travel, and had recently landed. It sat quietly in a padded box, lined with a sensor spoofing material that would prevent the identification of its advanced combat chassis by customs agents. Units of time were counted as the box was jostled and moved.

Audio receptors detected a low decibel hissing as the box was opened. A dark chamber was revealed. D3-EZ's photoreceptors identified the face of the hired smuggler. The human male was already assessed at a threat level of negative.

Lethal force: Negative.

"Alright Droid, I've held up my end of the bargain." The smuggler said wearily as he watched the droid exit the container.

D3-EZ assumed a standing position.

Initiate Function: Area scan.

It's photoreceptors scanned the room.

Threat assessment: Negative.

The droid turned it's head to look at the smuggler, it's blank faceplate coming to life as an expression was displayed.

😐

"Statement: Negative. Demand: You will remain here until this unit has completed it's function. Resolution: Upon safe return to previous destination, your family will be released safely. Query: Does this organic find the terms acceptable?" D3-EZ spoke in a neutral male voice, its displayed expression changing once more at the end of its query.

❓

"Damnit droid, you promised you would let them go when we got here!" The man's face twisted in a strange organic expression, his fist's clenched tightly at his side.

Threat assessment: Low.

Requisite Status: Medium.

Initiate function: Threaten.

Noiseless servos moved in rapid succession as D3-EZ drew one of its blaster pistols, leveling the barrel to aim directly in between the smuggler's eyes. Photoreceptors watched as the man's eyes crossed to the center of his nose as they centered on the barrel.

"Admission: This unit lied. Threatening Query: Would you prefer an energy based lobotomy?" The droid's tone remained the same as it's displayed expression changed.

☹️

"N-n-n-n-no no no. I. I'll. I'll stay. I'll stay here." The man stuttered.

Threat Assessment: Negative.

Honesty Assessment: Low.

Requisite Status: Medium.

Initiate function: Detain.

"Statement: Affirmative. Resolution: You will remain here." D3-EZ said, it's thumb clicking the blaster from lethal to stun as it's expression changed once again.

🙂

D3-EZ pulled the trigger and the man dropped instantaneously as the stun bolt zapped him directly in the face. It's photoreceptors dropped to scan the man on the ground.

Status: Alive. Unconscious.

Threat Assessment: Negative.

Honesty Assessment: Irrelevant.

D3-EZ holstered it's blaster pistol.

It's faceplate went dark.

The droid bound the man with stiff, precise movements before turning to scan the warehouse. Identifying a terminal, D3-EZ crossed the room to connect via it's integrated scomplink. The scomplink whirred, twisting as the droid sliced the machine and downloaded a map of the city.

D3-EZ's processor made quick calculations, planning several routes to the target zone. It detached from the terminal, scomplink retreating back into it's left arm. D3-EZ turned and began walking towards the door, exiting the warehouse into the dark of night in a seemingly abandoned and run down industrial area.

Initiate function: Area scan.

Randy Rando strode towards the front of the warehouse, a sick beat slammin' out of his shoulder-mounted boombox. Every few steps, he would pop his hips with the music and perform a smooth twist. Before him, two guards stood mesmerized by his movements, but unfortunately not so mesmerized as to drop their guard or their weapons. Slipping up close to them, he snapped a wink their way and spoke.

"Gentlemen~! I believe I hasss an appointment with your bosssss? Cammon Tonno requesssted the sssexiessst hooker thisss ssside of the kessssel run. I think you'll find everything'ssss in order-" At that, he popped his hips forward in a thrusting motion and let slip another wink at one of the guards. They seemed visibly uncomfortable, but they didn't question the Trandoshan any further. One reached for the door, opening it up in order to let Randy in, while another radioed to the other guards inside.

"Boss, your uh, your 10am is here." Randy, entering the warehouse, tapped one of the guards on the ass and added, "I've gotsss time for you two later, call me."

As the door closed behind him, Randy grinned mischievously. So convinced had the guards been, or at least so confused, that they didn't perform a thorough search of the Trandoshan. While no weapons were visible, Randy still had a thermal detonator hidden inside the boombox and his two pistols strapped to his chest under his vest. Additionally, he knew of no other bounty hunters that would make this job any harder.

This would be so easy!

Not so fast sexy @Black Noise

This party's just getting started

Romeo Solus had taken a break from active duty, after sustaining some critical injuries against the Killiks; though nothing a good rest/relaxation and the warm sun of Mandalore couldn't fix. However, there was work to be done, and if Clan Solus was to be rebuilt, one thing it needed were credits. Why let the Bounty Hunters have all the fun? These badgers were as deadly as any galactic gunslinger.

Romeo's scatterweave armor nearly impossible to see in the cloak of darkness, unless one had special night vision modifications. A benefit which the Trandoshan and Droid gave the Badgers by selecting the dark of night to conduct this operation. A handcuffed, leg-tied, and gagged guard sat outside by the rear entrance way, his security card granting access to the Duo. Romeo was careful to utilize the sweeping shadows of equipment and light fixtures, granting benefit of shade onto his Beskar'gam.

The Mandalorian carried his usual armament, taking a firm step and planting his backside against the wall to minimize any exposure, remaining unseen by guards or the would-be hunters. Romeo peered slightly just enough to get a distanced view of the lobby region. Weapons were hot but his trigger finger readied at the side of the rifle, prepared to fire but not recklessly. Fingers drummed on the side of his gauntlet, activating his jetpack into combat mode. A moment later, he caught glimpse of the transitioned hooker Trandoshan.

"What the fuck?" He whispered...

Strill held her blaster carbine with her right trigger finger along its frame. Her left gloved hand firmly kept the weapon steady, which was currently set to stun. While their target was wanted dead, the rest of the people that were between her and her bounty were not.

Instead of her normal magboots, she was wearing jetboots on her feet. She had silenced her bounty tracker device so that it didn’t blink or beep anymore now that they knew Cammon Tonno was inside. Unlike her Solus cohort, the Eldar was not wearing scatterweave, though she had chosen to daub her armor in black paint for this bounty. A PL-50 stun grenade and a G-20 glop grenade were added to her belt beside the thermal detonators she normally carried.

As a daughter of clan Eldar and from the Umbaran covert, she knew a thing or two about being stealthy. As long as she was not forced to move too fast in her armor, the twi’lek would not be forced to make noise too much noise. It sounded like there was a maniac playing music up and down the halls and they seemed to be giving Romeo pause. The badger was the one who had brought her this job so he better not make her regret it.

<“What is it?”> She whispered through their short range helmet comms in mando’a. Only Romeo would be able to hear this and hopefully replied with good news, otherwise they might need to negotiate a higher fee for this bounty.

D3-EZ's area scan outside of the warehouse indicated several things. Somebody was playing music loudly at a neighboring warehouse. It's sonar and movement detectors showed two shadow shadowy figures sneaking around back of the same warehouse. It ran a quick analysis of the location and the figures before discounting them as irrelevant to the mission.

Turning and walking away, it's pathfinder routine had settled on the quickest and stealthiest route to the Prime Minister's residence. The commando droid's servos moved silently as it set into a pace that would be unnaturally quick for an organic. But it was no organic, it was a top of the line Blackwell commando droid programmed for a variety of functions. This night, its function was assassination.

It's own scatterweave covering would likely keep it unseen to the other hunters who had closed in on some warehouse as it left the scene. Certainly they couldn't be after Prime Minister Cammon Tonno, the Prime Minister of the planet. If they were, they wouldn't have begun their assault on some random warehouse right next to the random warehouse that D3-EZ had managed to get smuggled into as it's route on world.

The security guards that the Trandoshan had sexually harassed into compliance were likely just too flustered by the lizards moves to tell him that Cammon Tonno wasn't someone he would find there, the call they made likely to report a soliciting lizard to the local authorities.

Out back, a pair of Mandalorians had assaulted and stolen the key card of a warehouse security guard on patrol. If they had taken the time to check the key card they had taken they would realize that it was labeled with the brand of a local security company, and that the man was not a member of the highly trained personal bodyguard regiment that guarded Prime Minister Cammon Tonno.

Randy didn't see the Mandalorian hiding in his scatterweave, rather focusing on his music. Every few seconds, along with the background of 'self-control,' Randy was alternating between whispering and shouting "Grilled Cheesssse! Grilled Cheesssse! GRILLED CHEESSSSE! Oh I LIVE AMONG THE CREATURESSSS OF GRILLED CHEESSSSE! I'M LIVING IN THE GRILLED CHEESSSSE OF MY DREAMSSSS! I BELIEVE IN GRILLED CHEEEESSSSE!" He didn't see the Mandalorians, but he could hear the closer one whispering.

It was one of Randy's dark and powerful skills. To hear when people talked and whispered. And he heard the Mandalorian. But he didn't see him just yet, so Randy mentally noted the position of the whisper and prepared themselves to be wary of anything that might come from that direction. Then, thinking to himself that there may be more, he readied himself for anyone else who might be in the building.

His target could be in the building, after all!

Headed towards the back of the warehouse, spotting a staircase towards the top floor where a control booth sat, and danced his way up it. Of course, just because Randy was in a down-and-happy mood did not mean that they were unaware of their surroundings. If anything moved, he would see it, and react accordingly. But until something threatened him, he would continue moving to eliminate his target.

Unbeknownst to him, police had been dispatched to their location. Not some massive raid of officers, but more than just a few. Randy had just broken into an expensive warehouse looking for the prime minister, after all. That was a big no no.

D3-EZ slowed it's pace as it came within visual distance of the Prime Minister's Residence. A rather presumptuous mansion that was surrounded by walls. The droid's rangefinder zoomed in on the walls, scanning the perimeter from a distance. It switched between normal photo and infrared vision, marking the locations of each guard that it could see on top of the wall and calculating their projected patrol pathing. It also marked guards flanking the gate and standing watch atop watchtowers.

Finding a good avenue of approach, through the alleyway between several buildings that opened up near the ornate shrubberies that lined the base of the wall's D3-EZ made it's approach. Covered from view of the watchtowers, the droid managed to get close to the wall. From inside the alleyway it scanned again, spotting one guard atop the wall at its preferred access point. Activating it's stealth field for a few moments, it slowly crept across the open space in the dark, pausing for a moment as a spotlight swept over its nearly invisible form before passing on.

The droid reached the base of the wall without further event, deactivating it's stealth field as it took cover in the darkness and shadow of the wall and shrubbery. Looking up, it calculated jump height before springing upwards, landing on the edge of the wall in a crouch front of the guard.

"Statement: Hello there." The droid said in a quiet tone to the surprised guard before it's fist sprung forwards like a piston to crush the man's face. The droid moved forwards off the precipice and into the walkway of the wall, catching the guard as he fell to prevent any further noise or excitement. With no other guards in view, D3-EZ let the guard fall over the outside of the wall to land with a quiet thump of a dead body behind the concealing shrubbery.

As Randy strolled up the staircase, a new song turning over on the boombox, an older gentleman stepped out of the control room. A bald, old Klaatooian, dressed in rags, slowly walked out with a bewildered look on his face. Holding up his hands, he tried to explain, "Listen man, I'm just squatting here, I'll lea-" And at that, Randy slammed the boombox into the man's face.

"YOU CAN'T DECCSSIEVE ME! CA-MOONMOON T'WOONO! I'VE COME FOR THE MONEYSSS ON YOUR HEAD!" The squatting homeless Klaatooian, now somehow even more confused, cried out, "How do you know my name??" Before Randy gently slapped him with the boombox again, suddenly aware he might break his precious item if he hit his target with it a little too large. Laughing heartily, Randy responded, "Becaussse I am the greatessst bounty hunter of all time! You better run! You better take over! You will pay for your political crimesss!"

The Klaatooine scrambled away, recovering surprisingly quick for an old man, and ran back into the control room. Setting down his boombox, Randy withdrew his pistols and prepared himself for the fight of his life. However, as soon as his pistols had been withdrawn, he replaced them and snatched back up his boombox to dash away from the control room and towards some scaffolding. A shout could be heard throughout the warehouse from the control room, "You'll never take me alive!"

Suddenly, frag grenades started flying out of the control room! One was tossed directly in the direction Randy had previously stood, but had since dodged as he had seen what the homeless Klaatooian was reaching for in his control room. Another was sent flying out the window towards the ground level. Finally, one more towards the back entrance to the warehouse, having bounced off a box and gone the wrong direction.

Iviinyc looked down at the device in her hand. <"Hold up. Uh."> The Twi'lek realized she made an embarrassing mistake. The bounty hunter had intended on following the Prime Minister's Switter account which said he was at this location, checked in as of a few minutes ago. But then Strill realized that it wasn't @TheRealCommonTonno, but instead @TheRealComoonmoon2ono . Thankfully her helmet hid her expression of embarrassment making her cheeks a deeper shade of green. <"...I don't think he's here. Just members of his workstaff runnin his switter.">

There was not much point in them going further. The woman's shoulders sagged and she headed towards the door which was nearby. Over her own sigh, she heard the echoes of approaching alarms. "Osik! Let's fly the hell outa here before blues show up." She said and without debate began tapping the controls on her wrist. The jet boots on her ankless switched to flight mode. If the local law enforcement got to close she would take to the sky as quickly as her boots would allow. The badger would be wise to follow suit.

Instead of a patrol speeder or uniform showing up in the sky, there was a fast moving object that the ordnance expert was all too familiar with. Thankfully she already was in flight mode and shot into the air, clearing the danger of multiple explosions without injury. Any trigger happy officers would have a hard time shooting either of them as they moved at high speed through the night sky, keeping low to avoid becoming easy targets and intending to quickly lose line of sight on the building.

Pulling out her personav while in flight and cursing under her breath, they needed to figure out where they were heading before they made a run. As fast as she could muster, she blazed away the coordinates of the Prime Minster's residence. <"Still wanna try our luck or should we just bail?"> There was no shame in trying again at another time. But Iviinyc was a risk taker and she wondered if Romeo was the same way. If the police were not alert before, they were now. Good thing the Mandalorians were leaving it behind though.

Discord we agreed that the gene code tracking isn't viable in this situation. Retroactively considering it Iviiinyc's dataphone.

"Nothing.." Romeo replied to his comrade.

Glancing upwards as Randy headed to the control room via staircase, Romeo was about to move forward when his partner called out to him. "Oh? Well shit, let's get the hell outta here fast." He said. The sound of a boombox smashing into faces as well as shouting up above could be heard, leading to commotion in the guardsmen near the front of the warehouse. Armored fingers clicked on the jetpack to change it into flight mode as Romeo lept forwards and out through the back door.

As his silhouette rapidly flew into the night sky, the echoing shockwaves of grenade explosions thundered from their previous location. Luckily the two grenades in the inside and side door of the building were too far to affect him while the one that was tossed at the back door, its blast radius narrowly missing the Mandalorian in flight. Romeo remained in air for a few moments, eyes lingering on the fireworks before replying.

"That was close.."

"Let's get the job done, any idea on where we go next?"

D3-EZ analyzed the building where the target resided, over 200 meters out from the wall that surrounded it. The Prime Minister's residence was a rather tall building, taller than the wall on which the droid stood, but not taller than the watchtowers that stood watch a ways down the wall. With no guards projected in his path, and none showing up on infrared, D3-EZ made his approach.

A swift, low run propelled D3-EZ to the base of the tower, where the droid pressed itself against the wall. It's scatterweave coating would allow it to blend into the shadows there as it turned up its audio receptors. It detected the sounds of boots tapping gently against the floor as a guard stood watch over the outer wall. The high vantage point would allow the guard to spot anyone approaching from below or above, assuming they didn't have a stealth drive like D3-EZ.

For now all the droid could do was wait as the jumper's in its lower legs cycled down on their cooldown procedure.

The moment the Mandalorians began to jet into the night sky, they would find that Randy had disappeared from inside the warehouse. Where was he? Where did he go? His target, Ca-moonmoon T'woono was still frantically throwing grenades inside the warehouse, desperately trying to find out where the mysterious and beautiful Trandoshan had disappeared off to. Having fled the scene of violence the moment he dodged away from the first grenades, Randy had thrown himself out a window and ran off into a nearby alley.

Dressing in his full battle armor to the background sounds of grenades going off, Randy grinned in the moonlight and jetted off himself in the direction the Mandalorians flew off in after having observed them leaving the warehouse. He would clear the 'blast radius' of the warehouse a few seconds after the entire interior of the building exploded. It was not some violent fireball that could be felt many miles away, rather, it was the sort of explosion that left the exterior mostly intact but definitively killed everyone inside.

To the police arriving the next day, they would find the source of the 'explosion,' Ca-moonmoon T'woono had inadvertently blown himself and most of the warehouse to smithereens. The terrorist had dozens of frag grenades shoved into a bag, and a lucky piece of shrapnel had ignited the whole bag. Instantly killing the utterly crazed eco-terrorist. But such was the life of anyone that dared step to Randy Rando, the Trans Trando Mando.

But those would be next-day revelations, today's revelation would be that Randy was currently J\jetting off in his full armor towards his Mandalorian brothers, pistols in hand, ready to continue the hunt.

Having flown away from the explosion and avoiding injury, the two Mandalorians would be leaving the scene of a crime behind them. A heart beat after the grenades had exploded the duo was already out of sight. The Twi'lek had just picked North as a direction, but their ship was west and the Prime Minister's home was the opposite direction.

Strill could not shake a feeling that told her she would be pushing her luck and not in a fun way if they continued with this hunt. <"Scratch that. We should leave."> She said simply. <"I have a bad feeling about this."> The local authorities were on high alert after what just happened. They needed to leave before the city practically went on lock down.

The night was their best advantage and the fact that they had not done anything yet meant they were simply tourists that had been at a place at a time. With her armor painted black as night and Romeo's coated in scatterweave, the two of them would be illusive to the naked eye among all the other stimuli of the city. Even with a HUD it would be tricky to find them among the heating exhaust and the lights along the streets.

Without further delay, the two stealthy warriors would make use of the shadowy roof tops and begin changing directions. Pursuers would have lost sight of them but they would be among the shadows by then, turning of their jets and crouching along rooftops to hide their presence. They kept an eye on the sky and horizon for air speeders or other threats, the Eldar clan member knew they were not home free yet. She would only re-activate her jet boots once she knew they were not being followed.

Moving westward, parallel to the sky-lanes along the roof tops, she easily pocketed her personav since it no longer served a purpose. Iviinyc knew her way back to her own ship from there and so did Romeo hopefully. She affirmed her grip on the blaster carbine in her hands and made sure it was set to stun. The roar of a jetpack would be obvious and if Romeo had cut his or kept flying, Iviinyc would be able to hear someone with a similar device that was giving chase. With fingers on the trigger, she would shoot anyone chasing them three times with heavy stun bolts. But if she was hearing things, she would take a breath until she was confident they were in the clear. The Mandalorians would then be able to make their way to their private ship and would leave the planet behind.

Romeo shrugged at her suggestion, he didn't really like the concept of leaving credits on the table but at this time with authority forces closing in as well as an unclear location on his target, he could feel the sense of messiness already developing in what was planned to be a quick and flawless hit. The longer it took for them to close in on the hunt would likely mean there was a greater chance of failure or perhaps having to contend with multiple hunters.

"Fine".

He said, tilting his torso into an angular direction so that he and his comrade could make their exit. Every few moments Romeo glared behind them to provide additional cover fire should they encounter enemies in pursuit. Trigger finger drummed on the side of his carbine, ready to initiate if given the opportunity. Romeo would accompany the other Mandalorian towards their private ship, leaving the Trando Mando and the Droid to enjoy their spoils should they be successful.

D3-EZ waited for the opportune moment. With it's audio receptors dialed to maximum sensitivity, the droid could hear each footstep of the guard above and waited until the guard was directly above. There was also a distant roaring of rockets in flight but those were cut off as the droid restored it's audio receptors to their standard setting before it crouched, and then jumped.

It's jump carried it over the parapet and right on top of the guard. D3-EZ's hands moved quickly as it came down on the guard, one hand grasping the blaster rifle held loosely by the man and ripping it out and away from the man's hands, the other hand clamping solidly down on the guard's mouth to silence him. D3-EZ drove the man to the floor, his chest under the droid's durasteel knee. There was a crunch as the man's head impacted on the floor of the guard tower beneath the force of the droid's hand over his jaw. D3-EZ continued to apply pressure until it's sensors indicated the guard was no longer 'status: alive'.

Wiping a fluid substance off of it's hands and onto the dead guard's shirt, D3-EZ came halfway up out of it's crouch as it first surveyed the surroundings for more guards that might catch a visual of the droid. Finding none, the droid turned towards the Prime Minister's residence, it's optics zooming in and scanning the building until it found the high office that it had sought a visual on from it's current vantage.

There in the office was the target, as well as a few other officials in what appeared to be some sort of meeting. Irrelevant to the droid as it unlimbered the MK Sniper Rifle off of it's back. Setting up on the edge of the parapet in a kneeling position that would keep the droid's profile low and out of sight to any of the other guard towers D3-EZ peered through the rifle's scope.

The droid made a few brief adjustments to set the rifle up for the shot before centering the crosshair's on the back of Cammon Tonno's head. It's processor ran several calculations faster than the normal sentient could. There was no need for the droid to hold it's breath while it pulled the trigger once it had lined up it's shot.

A single blaster bolt screeched across the courtyard, blasting through and shattering the glass window before planting itself solidly in the back of the Prime Minister's head. D3-EZ stayed in position just long enough to confirm a hit as the Prime Minister slumped down at his desk and the other officials dove for cover. The droid moved, dropping back down the side of the guard tower and then off the wall to the outside a few moments before spotlights centered on the now empty guard tower. Once outside, the droid activated it's stealth field once again and began the slow process of making it's escape.
