Seeded on the planet Cularin, Uuk remained dormant as a seed for several centuries before finally germinating. Having grown on a planet strong in the Force, Uuk has literally bathed in the Force for a thousand years, strengthening his connection to it. Uuk spent several decades in the sacred ch'hala tree grove in meditation, finding his birthplace to be soothing. Though having been in existence since before the Clone Wars, Uuk knows little of the galaxy's history.

PERSONALITY |
Character Alignment - Neutral Good
A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. Creatures of neutral good alignment believe that there must be some regulation in combination with freedoms if the best is to be brought to the world--the most beneficial conditions for living things in general and intelligent creatures in particular. Creatures of this alignments see the cosmos as a place where law and chaos are merely tools to use in bringing life, happiness, and prosperity to all deserving creatures. Order is not good unless it brings this to all; neither is randomness and total freedom desirable if it does not bring such good.
These characters value life and freedom above all else, and despise those who would deprive others of them. Neutral good characters sometimes find themselves forced to work beyond the law, yet for the law, and the greater good of the people. They are not vicious or vindictive, but are people driven to right injustice.
To a neutral good being, life and the assurance of other creatures' rights take precedence over all else. This is not to say that this character will have an aversion to taking another's life when faced with a choice between an attacker's and his own, however. Neutral good beings also believe that law and chaos are merely tools to use in bringing life, prosperity, and happiness to all deserving creatures. Neither numbers nor individual concerns have any bearing on decisions regarding the needs and rights of any given creature. All life is given even-handed treatment.
Personality Type - INFP
INFP personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, INFPs have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine.
Being a part of the Diplomat personality group, INFPs are guided by their principles, rather than by logic, excitement, or practicality. When deciding how to move forward, they will look to honor, beauty, morality and virtue - INFPs are led by the purity of their intent, not rewards and punishments. People who share the INFP personality type are proud of this quality, and rightly so, but not everyone understands the drive behind these feelings, and it can lead to isolation.
If they are not careful, INFPs can lose themselves in their quest for good and neglect the day-to-day upkeep that life demands. INFPs often drift into deep thought, enjoying contemplating the hypothetical and the philosophical more than any other personality type. Left unchecked, INFPs may start to lose touch, withdrawing into "hermit mode", and it can take a great deal of energy from their friends or partner to bring them back to the real world.
Four Humours - Phlegmatic
Introverted, unemotional, and people-oriented. The phlegmatic temperament is traditionally associated with water. People with this temperament may be inward and private, thoughtful, reasonable, calm, patient, caring, and tolerant. They tend to have a rich inner life, seek a quiet, peaceful atmosphere, and be content with themselves. They tend to be steadfast, consistent in their habits, and thus steady and faithful friends. Conversely, they may be too compromising, shy and docile, indecisive, lazy, slow, stubborn, and indifferent; too yielding, teasing, and forgetful.
SKILLS |
He also possesses rudimentary first aid skills, having been taught mostly herbal recipes and ways to heal through the land. He relies on the Force to guide him in the rare instances where he is the only medically qualified individual in the area. He's also knowledgeable on survival practices, what with him being a tree and all. Needing only ample sunlight and the occasional water, he's more than able to survive in the wilderness, sometimes going into a Force-induced hibernation trance should the situation become so dire.
He's found that through the Force he is able to learn languages significantly faster than those not sensitive. Due to this, he's learned a variety of languages aside from Neti and Basic; such languages he's learned include Bocce, basic phrases in Huttese, and can understand Shyriiwook with a rough translation. He's terrible at stealth, due to him being a shapeshifting tree whose species is thought extinct. He tends to attract unnecessary attention. He's also a pretty good cook; you should try his wroshyr-bark gumbo.
FORCE ABILITIES |
Uuk has not received any formal training in the Force outside of the basic lessons of sense, control, and alter. Possessing a potent connection to the Force, Uuk's untapped potential far exceeds his training. Decades of meditation on the Force on Cularin has done nothing but strengthen the connection he has, though he lacks any refinement of his abilities. Preferring to enter a hibernation trance so as to focus entirely on the universe as a whole whilst in meditation, Uuk is fairly capable of using the Force to slow the processes of his body.
Uuk is extremely curious of the Force, often seeking knowledge on its many applications, both dark and light. Inquisitive nearly to a fault, he focuses much of his time on learning more about the Force and its interaction with the galaxy.

BIOGRAPHY |
Several decades of solitude only made his thirst for knowledge greater, and he soon sought escape from Cularin. He hid himself among the trees in a forest nearby a busy spaceport, entering a state of hibernation as he awaited discovery. As if the Force guided their actions, a group of Ithorians had arrived to remove a few trees, along with their seeds, in order to cultivate the ecosystem of a dying planet. Unaware of the comatose Neti, the Ithorians harvested Uuk and the surrounding trees and loaded them onto their ships. While difficult to tell the difference between a sleeping Neti and the surrounding trees, a jedi in charge of the mission's planning had detected an unusual strength in the Force from the hibernating Uuk.
Having been woken from his trance by the jedi, Uuk was met with the surprised faces of several Ithorians. They had heard only legends of the Neti, never before seeing one in person. Uuk answered their barrage of questions until the jedi ushered them away, desiring a private conversation with the Neti. The two discussed much in the way of galactic history, satisfying Uuk's thirst for knowledge. The Neti was surprised to hear of the Imperium's widespread conquest, growing disheartened at the prospect of the galaxy being ruled by darkness. However, the jedi dismissed these thoughts, offering a way to defeat the darkness with the light; an invitation to join the New Jedi Order was extended and cautiously accepted.
The two did not have any time to train, however, as the ship was intercepted by a small freighter of pirates, eager to spill blood and leave with loot. The peaceful Ithorians were slaughtered with little resistance, their bodies and containers looted for items of value. The jedi and Uuk fought bravely, eventually scaring off the pirates. Alas, the jedi took a fatal slug to the stomach and was swiftly approaching death. Uuk applied what little knowledge of medicine he had to staunch the bleeding, but it only delayed the inevitable. He was told to visit Lamaredd and find the Jedi outpost there to seek further training. Upon arrival, only Uuk remained aboard the ship. He gave the Ithorians and Jedi a proper burial, making sure to avoid having the jedi be discovered, and sought out the Order. He kept the jedi's lightsaber in his memory, claiming it as his own.
For several months he lived on Lamaredd, surviving in the forests of the main continent. It wasn't until discovery by another Jedi when he began having questions thrown at him. Uuk was met with many strange glances and hundreds of queries; he wasn't surprised, he had anticipated to be asked of his species' apparent extinction. After a rigorous set of background checks, re-checked three times, Uuk Tiin was formally accepted into the Order. Not a moment too soon, too, for the evacuation would begin shortly after his arrival; a side-effect of the Grandmaster Ebberla Daw leaving the Order. Though happy to assist with the evacuation through his unique shapeshifting ability, Uuk was more eager to begin his formal training as a Padawan and learn more about the Force. Willing and able, Uuk was now prepared to combat the darkness to restore balance and establish the return of the Jedi as the galaxy's true protectors.
