BIOGRAPHY
Originally born on Carida, Vadam has little recollection of his time there. At the age of 5 there was a skirmish on Carida that saw the death of the Jedi Battlemaster, and after the fighting had subsided a Knight sensed the young Mirialan's strength in the force. After being brought before the masters that still survived in the wake of the battle Vadam was taken to be trained in the ways of the force. By this time The war was winding down as the exiles were slowly giving ground, and life on Jedha was well removed from the fighting. But still Vadam's training as a warrior of the light took precedence.
He trained along side several other younglings on the sacred moon, forming friendships with many but developing a very strong bond with one girl in particular, Ajji. As they became older their friendship grew into something else entirely, and as much as the masters warned them they became deeply involved with each other. And as they finished their training, still hiding their relationship from all around them, they were sent out into the galaxy to help push back the exiles. And in these early battle Vadam and Ajji realized that their bond, their feelings for each other made them stronger than if they were apart. Their love honing their defense of the other, and their fear of losing each other fueling their abilities.
It was only shortly after this that their secret came out, with an older Knight discovering their forbidden relationship and even going so far as to declare that the two of them were using the dark side, and thus traitors to the order. Without even the opportunity to defend themselves, to prove that their feelings made them STRONGER, they were going to be split up. Sent to opposite sides of the galaxy. And perhaps worse yet, removed from the fight entirely. So they decided to flee, as quickly as they could. But were confronted by another young Knight, blinded by the Jedi's dogma to what the force could truly do. A flash of rage swept over Vadam, and he rode it letting the power swell up inside him as he tore apart the foolish knight before the. There was no turning back now.
They were pursued of course, but each time a hunting party drew near they would tap into the power that all Jedi denounce, their fear, their anger, and their hatred for the order. And thus each time they managed to slip away from the order's grasp. It took time, but eventually the thought sunk in that the exiles were right after all, and it was the order that truly needed to perish. Thus they found their way into the ranks of the Exiles, becoming Templars and bringing the fight to the hated Jedi.
And then Illum happened. They were selected to accompany the exile force on what promised to be the blow that would finally destroy their enemy for good. But Vadam was separated from his beloved Ajji early in the battle, blown off course on the decent and ending up hundreds of kilometers from the sight of the ritual. He could feel the power beginning to build in the force as he rushed to join in the battle. And then he felt the power be unleashed, felt her die. It took days for Vadam to find a way off that scarred planet, but only the burning pain of loss and the need for vengeance filled him after that. Every Jedi needed to die, and he was going to see that to fruition.

Skills and Abilities
Having been initially trained to fight the dark exiles Vadam is an accomplished saber duelist, having originally studied form III- Soresu - but adapting his style to more closely fit Form V - Djem So - as time went on. As such he seeks to keep himself in top physical shape, and has learned to effectively wall off pain.
He never really showed much aptitude for more subtle uses of the force such as illusions, nor the patience for old rituals, preferring instead to let his instincts dive his use of the force. This presents itself as adequate use of telekinetics and physical enhancement abilities.
The Jedi took the time to give him a balanced education, seeing to it that in his time with the order he could draw upon a variety of skills in the field. and while these studies included everything from piloting to advanced economics he really excelled at wilderness survival, bestiary, and tracking.
