The new castle upon Namadii was coming along nicely, the combined efforts of the grateful populace and thousands of droid workers meant that there was never a moment where construction stopped and over half of it was now completed. The private quarters were to be the last thing's built, Artorigas still splitting his time between Serenno in the East and Exegol to the far West. Luckily that meant the more grander parts where ready for him to impress all who visited the Kingdom of Avillion, he had already watched a hundred people be shown through the giant gilded doors into the giant entrance hall, their jaws scraping the floors, their eyes as wide as stars.

The throne room was still a building site, so he spent his time roaming the large halls, a dozen scribes around him passing him datapad's with information on Exegol's factories, Adumar's crops, Namadii's conscription numbers and a hundred more things. Most just required a thumbprint, something he willing gave knowing that the papers had been thoroughly looked over by trusted eyes, but others he spent time reading and understanding.

A bell tolled deep within the Castle, signalling one o'clock local time. His guest would be arriving soon if not already waiting in a side chamber, a rather interesting young Zeltron who Malou had informed him was not only a Force Sensitive but one looking for training. Let us see if Malou's eyes were clear....

Disbelief hadn't quite escaped her mind as Lana walked up to and through the giant gilded doors. She was dressed in an all-black Imperial tunic, something they had laying around on the ship that brought her here, judging the torn and mudied clothes she had worn on Florn to be inappropriate. They were right. Lana felt out of place here despite her uniform making her fit right in with the many Imperials. One of which was quick to approach her as he entered the entrance hall; "Rank and designation?" the man asked with a condenscendingly raised eyebrow for he didn't see anything of note on her uniform and was thus preparing to kick her out violently.

Lana sensed the man's aggression, but she didn't survive Nar Shaddaa and Florn to run scared from a haughty Imperial officers. "My name is Lana Walk," she simply replied and noticed that it didn't ring any bells for the Imperial, "I'm supposed to meet with Darth Caelestis." The Imperial scoffed, "Hah, Darth Caelestis is busy. He's expecting a new Sith apprentice today."

The word 'Sith' was a hard thing to get used to. Lana, like everyone else, knew of the atrocities the Sith Order had committed and the warcrimes by Darth Caelestis himself weren't a secret either. Still, without them she'd be dead on Florn right now. They had fed, washed and sheltered her better than her parents had been able to for years. She figured that she owed them. "Right," she smiled at the haughty imperial and made eye-contact long enough for the man to start doubting his initial impression of the young Zeltron. "Right," his voice croaked a bit, but he recovered admirably, clicked his heels and turned to lead her to the side chamber. "This way, miss Walk."

A few moments later Lana stood alone in the side chamber and felt her heart beating a little faster by the minute. She really was about to meet a Sith Lord. A mass murderer, commander of fleets and the King of Avillion. She was afraid to show him the carefree Lana Walk that lived with her parents and tried her best to return to the survival mindset she had back on Florn where it was kill or be killed. There she had been hunted constantly by both humanoids and the planet's fauna, monsters completely controlled by their predator instincts, and she wanted to make sure that she saw Darth Caelestis the same way. Show weakness and die. Don't be afraid, don't show your fear.

Artorigas was dressed in his usual finery, dark trousers and boots, a lighter shirt with a
navy and gold jacket. In the corners of the giant room, amongst the dark wood, bright marble and gilded decorations stood the blood red armoured soldiers of the Avillion Royal Guard. Their helmets fixed forward, but their eyes searched everyone who walked through the room, ever vigilant to protect their lord and master as he walked casually among the pillars. As Artorigas took another datapad, signed it and returned it to the original owner another man approached him, giving him a customary bow. "Mi'King, Lady Walk has arrived." Artorigas smiled back at the man "Well let us see what Malou has brought us." He replied telling the others to leave him be for the rest of the day.

His boots clicked along the floor as he made his way towards the side chamber, as he approached the room, the servants by the door began opening it, allowing him to easily glide into the room without having to wait for the great big doors to open. The side chamber was well furnished, large sofa's lined the walls, a small silver table stood in the middle with a pitcher of water and a pair of cups. Turning towards the man who had guided him here, he gave Lana a quick look before speaking to the man. "Bring us some food, I am sure Lady Walk is hungry after her long journey." The man bowed and quickly exited the room, the doors closing behind him leaving just the two of them alone.

The young Acolyte was dressed in an all black tunic, very fitting of the Eastern Empire, but not so much the Avillion. Moving towards the pitcher, Artorigas looked the young Zeltron up and down biting his tongue slightly as he appraised the young girl, he could feel The Force flowing through her, she had some innate ability that was for sure. Picking up the pitcher he pointed it at her. "Would you like some water?" Without waiting for a reply he filled both cups before taking one and moving to a seat on one side of the room.

"Lana Walk correct?" He asked crossing his legs as he sat. "Malou speaks very highly of you. Please take a seat. Tell me about yourself?"

As Darth Caelestis entered Lana couldn't help but be surprised. He didn't looke quite like the Sith she knew from the HoloNet broadcasts. No masks or blood-stained armor, but a young face in a fine colorful tunic. It conflicted with what she thought she knew about the Sith Order, but there was no time to question it for the King of Avillion poured them some water and sat down, awaiting to hear he story. Lana complied as she thought was proper, she walked over to take the cup and then moved to take a seat herself. "yes, that's right-" she replied quickly as he asked if he had remembered her name correctly, "I met Malou on Florn where we were both hunted for sport by Trandoshan slavers."

That part he probably knew already if he had indeed spoken with Malou, so Lana figured that wasn't what he was asking about. Who was she, though? "I, eh, I mean-" she hesitated, "We found out I could use the Force a few years ago and it was-" she remembered how on densely populated worlds she could get overwhelmed by the energies and emotions around her, something that got even worse when they moved to Nar Shaddaa where the AMS virus left a particularly dark stain on one's soul. A dark stain that had completely absorbed her sisters before it killed her. "-difficult to adjust. Others don't understand." she wanted to explain, but realized that she wouldn't have to. The Sith Lord was much more powerful in the Force, she could feel the darkness biting. "I lived on Nar Shaddaa, where my parents got infected by the AMS virus and I barely escaped the lower levels. Shortly afterwards slavers captured, drugged and left me on the planet Florn." That was a really short summary of her life and Lana took a sip of the water as she waited to hear if the Sith Lord wanted to know more.

It was a simple story, no great exploits or fantastical adventures, at least none she was willing to divulge at this moment. He took a long sip of the water, the cool liquid quenching his dry throat, he had been talking all morning. Giving out orders or discussing new processes with the wave of officials that flowed around his feet and it seemed in the craze of it all he had not drunken anything since that morning. "I am sorry to hear about your parents, I have been lucky that this side of the galaxy has not been hit hard by the virus. But I have seen, heard and read much about the plight of the plague." He shook his head slightly at the thought.

"How much experience do you have in the force Lana?" He asked, placing the hand holding the cup on his crossed knee, the other at his side. "Give me a little demonstration if you will?" Malou has started with a simple grasp of telekinesis as well as her natural Force Sight, where he had known others to come to the Sith with a much larger variety of abilities.

A demonstration? Insecurity suddenly flared up and Lana could feel her throat burn as she hesitantly raised her right hand slightly above her own knees. She had used the Force before, ofcourse, but mostly in life and death situations. This.. well, this wasn't it. Unless..

She closed her eyes for a second and felt her own fear over what a terrible Sith Lord would do to her if she were to displease him. There were so many massacres, so many threatening holonet broadcasts that the image of Darth Caelestis bleeding her out in some twisted Force torture wasn't that hard to conceive. Lana's eyes snapped open as she knew she touch upon something and as she opened her hand the cup quickly left that hand of Darth Caelestis and flew into hers at high speed. Her hand even hurt as she grasped it, such was the force with which it had flown towards her. It was raw and unrefined, but with an aggressiveness that surprised even her.

The empty cup in her hand, Lana turned towards the pitcher and rose from her seat. Her heart was beating like crazy, but that she was able to demonstrate something had given her a whole new sense of confidence. "Let me refill this for you, Darth Caelestis," she smiled slightly and walked over to the table to refill the Sith Lord's cup.

Artorigas watched her closely from the moment he asked her to demonstrate her ability with The Force. His eyes scanned her face and body, looking for subtle signs, was she using just her mind, was she using movements of her body to help to the interaction with The Force, did she exhibit any pain in the movement? It was all things his eyes could focus on, meanwhile his mind, steepled in The Force poured over her soul, feeling out the power within. How did she tap into it, was it natural, forced, did it require emotion and what kind of emotion. 'Fear' it flashed across her like bright lights of Courscant.

Fear was a good motivator but an unreliable one, he thought. If she was to become his apprentice she would need to work on her triggers, he could not have an apprentice consistently relying on Fear, Anger or Hate as a way to tap into The Force. He needed people with level headedness around him, even though he was the Warmaster of the Empire, controller of the largest shipyards and foundries he prided himself as a Sith who did not rely on Anger, Hate or Fear to survive.

He felt the cup rip free from his hand, he had been holding it tight to see how much power she had and the speed at which it left his palm was impressive. The surprised look upon her face seemed to echo is thoughts, the strength was appealing, even if it was tapped into rather ineffectively. "Yes another would be good." He replied to the offer of a new cup. "However I want you to return me the cup the same way, full I am quiet thirsty." He replied with a smile.
