Vici (Matt's Orphan Retinue)

Write-up thoughts here. I had a kernel of an idea. Basically think sort of a Leonardo Da Vinci team of colorful dervishes who specialize in exotic technology and weapons, as well as traps, sabotage, etc. in addition to the general missions all retinues will undertake.

Thoughts?

I posted this in the public thread, but also here as well, I had thought Matt wanted the Vici to be more noble than the other retinues. So I think the Vici might best be defined more like a secret order of Knights committed to the one cause that defined who the Imperial Knights were for the past 8 centuries of their existence: the existence of an Empire without the Sith.

So they would attempt to destroy the Sith infrastructure itself while bringing the least harm as possible to the Empire and it's citizens. They'd probably have a very cavalier view in relation to other retinues, feeling that they're the only one who has stayed on the right path, and thus filled with hubris and an unwillingness to accept missions that are necessary to be done because the side effects are against their ethical standards.

When I think "Vici", I don't think of Leonardo de Vinci, I think of "Veni Vidi Vici".

Fair enough. Maybe that's part of the reason why they're the Q of the group? Maybe they develop weapons, etc. for the rest of us on the basis of the least collateral damage possible. It also works for the faction because we prize precision.

But I'm not married to anything at this point, including my kernel of an idea.
