Maneuverability: The Interstellar-Class was not built for manoeuvrability, though still not a sluggish ship for its size. It however focused more on its complete firing arc and flexible rotating turrets in its role as an Anti-pirate ship.


Description: The Interstellar-Class Battle Cruiser was a joint venture by the native Talz of the Sujimis Sector and a mid rim consortium of arms companies to stem the tide of pirates and smugglers pouring out of Karazak. Built to be the main power in the sector the Interstellar-Class was a sizeable ship larger than anything the pirates of Karazak used, it was planned to be a series of five before the disaster at the Alzoc 3 asteroid field.

The battle of Alzoc 3 took place fifty years ago, it took place on the delivery date of the first Interstellar-class. The local pirate consortium had learned of the impending arrival and set a trap in the nearby asteroid field, luring the brand new ship into attacking a pair of pirate corvette's its over eager captain followed them into the asteroid field. The pirates overwhelmed the ship and its new crew were unable to withstand the attack and the ship was all but destroyed, with multiple hull breaches the captain abandoned ship leaving it to drift through the asteroid field.

Upon arriving at the Alzoc 3 system, The Order of Revan were able to detect the faint power signature coming from the craft and sent a taskforce to reclaim the ship for their own.


Features: Currently the only pressurized area is the bridge, engine room and the starboard hanger.

OCC: The Vigilant will be claimed through an Order mission and subsequently fixed up.

Faction Tech means the tech profiles that are meant for the main faction.

Also just wondering? Do the Order even have the capability to run a ship like this. The minimum crew is 1500 and the maximum npcs for a new faction are usually 500 if irc.

This is to be taken badly damaged, we'll use a combination of people and droids to put a skeleton crew in place to get it running until we can do a mission chain to allow it to be repaired and at the same time that's going on we have a couple of other missions chain in mind to boost our numbers up and get ourselves set up in our new base system.
It won't actually see combat for a little while at least until we're in a better position to use it.

One of our up coming missions is to hijack a ship full of new astromechs that's being delivered, ship still won't be anywhere near combat effective but they can certainly control the engines and hyperdrive to get it moving at least and for the time being that's all we need.

Generally I'd have liked to take things slower but we're kind of running against the clock since we only have a couple of months before the reset so we've got to push things along a bit faster then is ideal.
Listing it as faction tech was my fault as well, I thought since it's specifically for our faction it still needed to be listed as such.

Eh, don't worry about it. You're not supposed to even be able to access that tag anyway. Since you can use it, I completely understand why you did. It makes sense since it is for a faction. :D

Kk. The idea is for this once fixed to be our flagship once it's repaired as well as a mobile base for us.

I won't even give this any kind of in-depth review, because of one simple flaw that makes any others completely irellevant, which is that the biggest ships indie factions can own are corvettes. Not Cruisers that are CONSIDERABLY larger than a Corvette. So, while I won't persume to speak for him, I really doubt Clayton'll even consider approving this.

(Ignore the Bogan because they're technically a Main Faction for all intertents and porpoises.)

EDIT: Actually, with that kind of lenght? It's a Heavy Cruiser, and coming close to the Star Destroyer category. Corvettes, that you CAN use, range between 100 and 200 meters.

The Indie faction rules page specifies you may begin with up to 2 frigates and 6 corvettes which already contradicts your argument, it also specifically states that larger ships are allowed if stolen from another faction that has them or if an admin grants permission for them to be NPC acquired.
Nowhere in the rules does it say an Indie faction can not possess ships higher then corvette class.
Rule 2 in the indie rules.

(( I've told him 3 times it's heavy cruiser not battle cruiser class. ))

Yeah, this is a heavy cruiser, which is fine if you submit a faction expansion request. That takes time however. If you can scale it down to a frigate sized vessel, I'd be more willing to look at it.

We're actually planning to do an expansion request for this, we're just finishing up our initial crop of mission first before we do it and since this is closing and you guys are busy putting it up in advance meant there was no rush to get it done and gives us time to modify things if needs be.

Once our current crop are done we just need to do a mission to actually find the ship and we're all set.

PM me the relevant details for that mission please. If it looks good, then I'll give this a review and conditionally approve it. Alternatively if you've already gotten admin permission, forward me that and I'll do the same.
