Voidsphere - a Halloween Event

Hello Darthlings, the Sithiest night of the year is upon us and a thematic event will take place on the ceremonial planet of Moraband. A human sacrifice will be given to the netherworld as an offering in a ritual of the darkest magic. The body of the PC sacrifice (@RedneckLoves) will be expelled from the universe while their life force is dispersed among the participants. Should your character partake, they will gain rapid power in the Dark Side, but not without potential consequences to their health.

This will be a strictly no-death and non-PvP thread and is geared towards non-combat characters or those interested in writing sorcery and magic. This event will be closed and only certain characters may be chosen, but there is no limit to the amount of participants. @Marf's Sith Arcanist Vereshin will be conducting the ritual in deep secrecy and weapons will not be allowed.

The focus on this thread will be spooky writing, horrifying theatrics and building an unsettling ambiance. Writing ability does not matter, I will be choosing characters based on their suitability, interest level and likeliness to engage in the thread. I am also open to people making a character just for this thread, if you don't have any that are suitable and have a spare slot.

I intend for my own character to be hospitalized due to the effects of the ritual, just to put things in perspective. I want to show just how visceral and gnarly the Dark Side is and the negative effects it has on those who abuse it. I won't be choosing Sith who will either oppose the ritual, or who will just stand there and be a perfect badass and not really be affected at all.

I'm also okay with anyone who doesn't really have a character suited to this type of thing making up and using an NPC just for use in this thread. This is just supposed to be a really cool Halloween-y, spooky story to write together. Everyone sign up!

There is also the opportunity for people to partake as alchemists or healers, who will essentially be the medical team treating ritual partakers after their psychotic trip and making sure nobody chokes on their own vomit ;D

... since the event is so secret not even normal medics are allowed, and is known of only to the Supreme Leader and those taking part.

Also while unsettling and scary imagery is encouraged, I will stress that is has to be kept PG-13 - nothing really sexual or below the waist.

I was actually being serious. Like if this isn't on some major Sith world an exploring Jedi stumbles in, sneaks a peek at the ritual and escapes with a major dark side taint on him.

It's actually on the Sith holy world of Moraband, so I doubt a Jedi could just stumble in. I'd be happy to do a one-on-one though to help with your story.
