DESCRIPTION
The VZ-1 Steadyshot is, on paper, a fairly standard blaster pistol produced by Starburn Combat Systems, a weapons firm which has made its fortune providing products which fill the niches companies such as Rim-Fire Munitions have thus far under-served or ignored. The Steadyshot, for examples, is optimized for accurate handling by smaller species, who tend not to be able to keep a proper grip on standard blaster pistols and for whom rifles and carbines are heavy and awkward.
The Steadyshot has its trigger and pistol grip mounted mid-way along the weapon's frame, giving it a more manageable center of gravity. It is also equipped with a simple wire stock, which extends and twist-locks into place.
Though it lacks advanced optics or any other novel features, the Steadyshot has proven popular among physically smaller customers. In combat, owners tend to wield these handy pistols more like full-sized carbines.
LEGALITY
Legal. Aside from any local weapon restrictions, Steadyshots are similar in their capabilities to normal blasters, and thus attract little if any scrutiny from most officials.
