It had been a slow week thus far only two bounties and both of them were on the home planet. He pretty much only had to walk to the window and fire and collect; though he obviously had more to do than that. He sat I his office that overlooked the city of vast city on Nar Shaddaa obviously behind strong windows. This place was a gamblers place to gamble life, limb, and credits. With all the gangs it was easy to find work and even easier to build a reputation but it had been months since he actually had a decent and challenging hunt. He was dying to get after a Sith Lord or a Jedi though yes it was of extremely high risk it still pumped that much needed adrenaline into him. He was in his light armor clothing not his hunting gear as he walked around the office bored to tears. He looked at himself in the large mirror that reflected back the scars on his face from an unfortunate meeting with a Rancor whos head was now sitting above his desk.

The office was small but well hidden in the city. He had contacts all over that would inform him when someone was looking for work and than Arix would track down that man and inquire about a possible hunt. An unorthodox method of course but it prevented unwanted attention from Assassins and spies. He walked back to his desk and tuned on his computer as it displayed the faces of his contacts from the cameras in the area.

“Anything yet?” he asked blandly.

“Nothing yet.” They all said as they looked up at the camera knowing that he was watching.

“Alright. Well keep at it I am bored shitless and I don’t pay you for nothing.”

“Yes boss.” One of his human contacts replied.

A holo communicator would be delivered Via messenger droid to the hunters office, on the Holo was a Rodian.

"Greetings hunter, your reputation preceeds you, which is why I am contacting you for this job, Interested?"

The image of the rodian placed his hands under his chin and cocked his head to the side.

Arix turned around and sat down at his desk as his messenger droid came in and delivered a holocron more than likely through one of his bounty dead drops he had. If someone wanted to contact him other than by a contact he had dead drops all around the city people could put a holocron into and it would be retrieved later.

The Rodian on the holocran began to speak and Arix took a seat at his desk listening to the words of the alien.

“Keep talking and I will let you know if I am interested.” He stated as he pulled out something to write on to take notes about the possible bounty.

The rodian nodded it's head and grinned.

"Good, good, job is simple we need ships a list of specific ships, we need 1 AEG-77 Vigo Gun ship, 2 Ixiyen class fast attack craft and 2 Rihkxyrk Assault fighters, Job pays well, ten thousand per ship."

The rodian on the Holo appeared to sit down probably behind a desk of some kind, but neither the desk nor the office he was in was visible in the holo.

“You want me to locate these ships? Acquire these ships? Or tell me if theres any out the window? Seem’s like a pretty boring assignment to me either way and I normally get paid a lot more but that’s usually to kill people not run a honey do list. Tell me where the challenge is? Simple is not why I am in business.” He stated to the Rodian wanting to drop the call at this point but was hoping there would at least be a reason as to why he would ask such a feeble task.

"Heh yes indeed your reputation is true, I was right to seek you out, the challenge in this mission is simple, Kuat Drive yards has a junk/salvage lot, it is currently controlled by the Galactic Alliance, Ord mantell also has a Salvage yard in there space docks, it is controlled by the Empire, these ships can be located at each Slavage yard, or you can steal them from current owners, a list of individuals who are in current possesion of these ships can be uploaded to your data pad, and trust me each of these people has a substantial bounty on there heads, i think the lowest one is sitting at just under five thousand, still not interested I can go find some other thug who has a less reputable reputation and will probably botch the job on the first try get himself killed and alert the authorities to our actions."

"I will do it for 40,000 credits. After all 40,000 credits for a few good ships is a steal. No pun intended." he stated as he wrote the information down so he could do research later if the an was still interested of course if not he would have no problems waiting to get an assassination lined up after all, that was his specialty.

"How 'bout 25,000 per ship plus bonus, each time you bring in one of the ships you get paid, if you bring in proof of collected bounty with ship you get paid for bounty as well obviously, bonus is dependent on shape and functionality of ship."

"What about the functionality of the bounties? Alive or dead?" he asked taking a cigar out from his desk and cutting it as he grabbed his lighter and lit it propping his feet up on the end of the desk as he awaited a response to his question.

The rodian on the holo tapped his fingers on the desk.

"Only one is wanted alive, the others are alive or dead bounty is the same either way, the one though if brought back dead not good, a certain Hutt wants that man alive, reasons unclear, all will be downloaded to your data pad if you so wish, so we have deal?"

The rodian was sly, and obviously dealt on the Shadier side of business

Arix breathed in the smoke rolling the numbers in his head just as he rolled the smoke around before exhaling it out and licking his lips enticingly.

"We have a deal IF you give me 5,000 credits down. I will need it to get to those ships. You can dock 5,000 credits off of the first ship this is strictly just an advance payment."

If we have a deal send me the info and wire the credits to my account.

The rodian Nodded, and typed into something.

"Money there now, Information downloading to your Data Pad now, when you return contact me, park the ships on hangar 42 on the orbital platform, money will be wired directly to your account."

The rodian signed off, and Arix's Data pad quickly downloaded the information, 2 salvage yards, and a list of 10 possible bounties, the first on the list was a gungan smuggler.

Arix got the information on his data pad and while it downloaded he walked over to his suit and tossed away the cigar he had been using and began to suit up. He didn’t bother putting the helmet up as he was obviously safe he grabbed the datapad and placed it into his armor so he could access it remotely. He had heard of the target before and now it was time to call up a few of his contacts. He shut off the computer and left the office heading to the space port.

He boarded his ship and was soon in orbit above the Smuggler’s moon. He activated the ships long range communication device and used what info the bounty had and sent it to his information brokers. Within ten minutes he had gotten a reply back from a Jawa in Mos Espa.

“M'um m’aloo hunya reve kurruzza neng ooka. Go mob un loo?”

“Great work buddy. I will give you 1,000 credits for the info just make sure they don’t leave.”

“Mambay Taa baa.”

With that information Arix set his ship for the city of Mos Espa.

Bounty 1: Complete

Arix reentered the Nar Shaddaa space and the ship’s computer began to autopilot to his preset trajectory. His target was the port in question that he was to deliver the stolen ship too. After entering the atmosphere the ship began its landing and found the out of the way docking bay. Taking a second to check over his gear he opened and exited out of the ship taking the ID tag with him as a bunch of ship ahnds came out to tend to the ship.

“Be careful its set to explode without this.” He stated handed the ID tag over to the man in charge of the docks who quickly nodded and looked at the tag and ship with a bit of hesitation.

Arix tapped a few keys on his left forearm and sent a transmission to his employer inquiring about his payment and the next target.

The holo beeped at the rodian popped up into view.

"You do good work hunter, good work indeed, your next target is being uploaded to your Data pad as we speak, your money has been deposited."

The holo went silent, and Arix's data pad beeped as the new information was downloaded.

(Continued in on the hunt)
