Sometimes you act on instinct, you do the first thing that comes to your head and you have images of how everything will work out perfectly in your favor. Today was not that day for Revy. As she executed the roll she saw a flash of crimson coming at her from her left. Instinct took over and the Cathar raised her hands to try to block the incoming object. Which is why the next few moments would become so surreal for her. She heard the noise of something passing through with a sizzling burning sensation only to be replaced with nothing. The crimson blade of the lightsaber narrowly passing over her head and she now felt a searing sensation slash across her right forearm. Her arm was on fire and when she put weight on it, she would collapse as the pain was only amplified by any new stimuli. She was now lying on her side and that's when her T-visor was now set squarely on a site she would never forget, even if later on she would desperately want nothing more than to forget it.

She saw an entire arm there. Cut just below where it would begin to curve into the shoulder. Out of curiousity she tried to reach out and grab it with what should have been her left arm. However there was no response from her body, almost like radio static. That's when she looked down at her left arm to find it wasn't there. Her eyes widened in horror as the realization of what had just happened finally clicked. Suddenly a screaming roar of pain from the remains of her left arm shout through as she cried out in uncontrolled agony. She wasn't in state where she could hold on to her weapons, or do anything really.

She wasn't some badass Mandalorian that was about to teach these Sith a lesson, she was a terrified woman who was now a liability to everyone. The world had become silent and now she was just lied there on the ground feeling like the dead weight she truly was. The only two things that could be registered was pain and failure. What a stupid di'kuut she was.

OOC: My character has just lost their left arm, and her right arm is intact but injured. She has dropped her weapons and is effectively KO

The smell of burning flesh was not new to Ilyra but she would be lying if she said it was one she liked on any level - despite being a Sith, causing pain was something of a means to an end for her. She wasn't sadistic enough to take any pleasure in Revora's pain or her situation.

She just felt a grim sense of satisfaction from an attack well executed and nothing more. Because of this, Ilyra saw now reason to kill the other woman. She was downed and she was in no position to fight on so killing her at this point would be an execution rather than battle and Ilyra didn't want any part of that.

Focusing on the other battle instead, Ilyra advanced towards the injured Mandalorian (Vila) from his right since he and his ally were battling Mid over to the left. As she advanced she used the Force to pick up a rock roughly the size of her torso before launching it at the Mandalorian's torso as he was pulling himself up to his feet. With his injury and the rock moving at roughly equal speed to a blaster bolt, it might be enough to do some damage.

Even without it though, it would be a distraction that would force him to focus on her instead - she advanced steadily with her lightsaber still in front of her to defend.

Things were not exactly going according to plan at this point, and it might have seemed as if Mid was in trouble. But truthfully, he was in his element.

As Mid fired at the grunt, his senses perked up. He knew the Rishii fired at him, though he had more than enough time to react. He stepped backwards and the shots fired at him whizzed past him, skimming past his armour and leaving a black line along his chest. Still knowing he needed to move, he moved forwards and to the left after the rounds passed, spinning around to keep both the Rishii and the grunt in his sight. His lightsaber was still at the ready to block any incoming shots and his pistol was still in his right hand, ready to fire. He took note as the Rishii flew off to create distance. It was a pity the Rishii managed to evade his attacks but it was alright. He had a new target now.

The grunt was an annoyance. Like an insect that kept buzzing around his head on a hot day. And now it was time for this insect to go.

He advanced towards the grunt as he collided with the ground, marching with a furious pace. The distance closed to less than 20 meters in an instant and he kept marching. He reached less than 15 meters by the time the grunt was busy trying to get to his feet. Mid waited for the man to get into a kneel before emptying the last 3 rounds of his gun at the man's torso. The grunt was still recovering and didn't prepare to fire at all, and at this range dodging the shots was going to be a miracle. Mid took note at the rock Ilyra was hurling and made sure that no friendly fire would be happening if the grunt went down before the rock landed.

His advance also made more space between him and the Rishii. And while his eyes were focused on the grunt, his senses were wide open to any more attacks or tricks and the force was coursing through him. As soon as the grunt was out, they could focus on the Rishii flying around like a coward.

"Damn Sith... Hiding behind magical powers and calling it strength." His voice cracked and broke as he started to get up. He was getting fatigued, the quick movements combined with pain in his leg causing him to feel dizzy.

As his head raised up to look of the man. A flash of light hit him. Then another, and another. His body looked like a shooting range slate, and by the time the third shot had pierced a hole through his Beskar'gam, the light in his eyes had faded. A lifeless corpse fell to the floor with no hopes of revival.

Under his helmet however, a smile fell upon his face - The last thoughts and memories being that of joining his fellow Mandalorians in death. He hoped dearly, he would see them again.

The Rishii would veer his body upwards in reaction to K's dodging movements, ascending higher into the air, up at around 45 meters above ground as he flew closer to him, he'd also sheathe his beskad as he does so and bring two grenades to that hand in it's place.

High in the sky (and keeping altitude up around 45 meters in the air), he would be out of plain view especially now that Darth K is concentrating on firing three aimed shots at the Clan Ordo member, the Rishii would quickly hit the buttons on them and then throw both them at Darth K at the same time base-ball style, his Mandalorian-forged strength, flight momentum, and gravity enhancing the speed of the grenades as they come down on him. Darth K is already in the middle of attacking so he wouldn't be able to interrupt, and Ilyra would be too focused as well on the Ordo.

After throwing the grenades, the Rishii would flap his wings and ascends even higher quickly with helping of his jet boots, going straight-up, making any retaliation extremely difficult. Upon further inspection on the ground below from his vantage point in the air with his keen eyes, he could see the bodies of his fallen comrades on this mission gone wrong. How did this happen? If he doesn't down or seriously hurt Darth K, Parek won't have much chance of completing this mission alone, but he already set himself to be able to retreat through the sky.

The shots collided and the Mandalorian went down, but Mid had another issue as he fired.

The chicken was getting frisky.

While his eyes were on the grunt, his focus wasn't entirely. He fully expected the Rishii to intercept or do something to try and help his comrade, but he certainly expected the Rishii to do something else. He spotted the grenades but unfortunately it would be moving a lot slower than a blaster bolt. He was moving away and his thin arms wouldn't nearly give him enough speed to outsmart Mid. So as Mid fired he reached up with his saber hand and halted both grenades mid-air halfway towards his position. After firing the last round the gun was holstered and Mid got more control over the grenades and his saber hand would be free. He was also prepared to step aside in case any more attacks came his way.

The grenades would fly right back to the Mandalorian, acting like homing missiles. Mid had full control of the force and pulling this off was a walk in the park for the Sith Lord. If the Mandalorian tried to dodge, Mid would simply follow him with the grenades in hopes of knocking his feathered backside out of the air. It would be a lot easier to take care of him after disorienting him and seasoning him with some shrapnel.

As always, his lightsaber was ready and he was prepared to move. Likewise, if he needed to, he would manipulate the force alongside the grenades. But at this range it wasn't necessary. Dodging or blocking would be pretty easy.

Huh so that Mandalorian had been more injured than she had thought because he wasn't able to evade the blaster bolts from the Sith Lord (really?) and was dead by the time the rock she had launched at him managed to connect with him. With her lightsaber up in front of her, defensively held across her body, she advanced towards the Mandalorian bird person from the right hand side of the battlefield - to the bird's left.

The bird would need to keep herself and Kados in it's line of sight and that would be tricky with the angles they were at.

Maybe it was time to appeal to the Mandalorian's sense of camaraderie?

Nah.

He probably would believe it was actually an option - especially not since there were all the stories about Mandalorians gunning down injured and captured Imperials and Sith. Gesturing with her hand, Ilyra used the motion to begin building the Force within her. In an ideal galaxy she would be strong enough to use Force Stasis but it was still beyond her.

So instead she pushed forwards with her lightsaber at the ready to defend and the Force building inside of her as she advanced to cover some more of the distance between her and the bird.

If the Mando Birdo already could see Ilyra Visz from his position in the air, he could see all the battlefield. Those grenades that Darth Kaedos halted with the force would explode in midair (Confirmed with tech staff that impact grenades would explode in midair if impacted sufficiently with the force or halted hard enough by it) so Parek didn't really need to do anything special to avoid them as he was well outside their radius.

Well, this mission is beyond repair at this point. Shame, Parek would feel bad for his down/dead partners and feels bad about having to withdraw, although it might be more honorable to stay to the end its pretty pointless to throw his life away in vain.

Every dog has it's day, the Sith might have won here but it doesn't change the Sith are crumbling, their Empire would be dissolved. The end is still inevitable for them.

Now even further in the air, Parek would then fly away from the battlefield, away from the Sith. As a species capable of flying at high speeds and with his jet boots, he'd be off the battlefield in no time especially since he's already a very good distance in the air, the birb would heading towards the clouds at an angle.

Ilyra could probably have gotten a few shots off at the retreating form of the bird-person but what would really be the point? She only had a pistol and the range wasn't that good, even if she was some kind of crack shot (which she was not). Instead she just kind of watched him fly off.

Had some kinda wings on him did that feathery freaker.

"Dibs on the catgirl."

Suiting actions to words, Ilyra wandered back over to the cat-woman Mando and used the Force to grab her up off of the ground before making her way back over to Kados.

Well the fight was done and the battle won and Ilyra only had one thing to say to that really.

"... so seriously, what's the deal with that mando?" she asked Kados loudly and bluntly, "He some kind of sassy turkey or what?"

Nothing else needed to be said.

Mid was kind of disappointed that the grenades exploded but nothing could be done about that. The Rishii flew off, abandoning his comrades in arms to the Sith. So instead he turned his attention back to Ilyra and her 'dibs'. As she walked up to him he summoned the Lullaby on the Cathar's person to his hand and holstered it behind his back. The rest of it he didn't care about at all. "If she doesn't have anything of value to give us...well..." he eyed the broken Mandalorian. "I can think of a few ideas for her." he continued before walking off.

He picked up the dead Mandalorian and threw him over his shoulder before walking off with Ilyra, chuckling at her comment. He had some uses for the Mandalorian's armour...and a few experiments he wanted to test on the body.

This day didn't got too bad...
