I suppose the question now is, how would you like to go about it? Shall we do a meeting before we head out, or do you prefer to just drop into the midst of it and go from there? I'm entirely flexible with whatever really.

I wouldn't mind a meeting of sorts, as I want my charrie to be relatively new to the Rangers, as in he's already joined up but hasn't quite met everyone yet. We can go from there I suppose ^^.

Took me forever, but here is the new roster

Some things to explain.

Ranger Code Status: Rangers have an ideal to uphold and therefore must be good people. Most of you are in good standing, but Sarith has a past criminal record as does Lexi Frost so they are essentially on 'probation'. Basically there are three levels, green, yellow, and red. Yellow is when your character is in question and red is when it is no longer in doubt that you are doing evil. At this point you have little time to correct yourself or you are dead to the Rangers. This will lead to a bounty being placed on you. So remember, Red means Dead and there is no Redemption.

Special Unit: As I mentioned earlier I want to look to see Rangers specializing for certain anti-criminal operations. Basically you'll work under a specific npc to gather increasing rewards from them. You can still do other npcs missions of course, but the special missions will be for those elite who dedicate themselves to that NPCs cause. I'll have more on this soon.

Achievements: Basically marks of honor for acts of bravery or things that help the Rangers a lot. You get these at the very end of mission threads so start collecting today.

Combat Abilities: I know your guy can do lots of stuff, combat abilities just says a couple of things you're good at.

On that note, I am working on different images for Dorax, my wall is covered in concept art of heads and arms, with the occasional elephant, horse and economics graph.

Aright, I think Dorax may remove the skull for now, it may come back, he'll still hold it in his possession and it still holds deep sentimental value to him, however he no longer wants to risk damaging it.

So I want to dive into this special unit idea a little deeper and get your opinions before/if I implement it

So again the basic premise of special units is sort of like real life cops, you work in homicide, or you work in street patrols, or something else, you are equipped for your specific job and you get certain assignment opportunities.

The divisions I had in mind were

Ross: Leader of MOSES (Mobile Operations Seeking Eradication of Slavery)

Intent: Ross would focus mostly on breaking up slavery rings in the outer rim either by force or by more covert means. As you worked with him you'd get more resources by means of men, money, and equipment. You'd help the rangers as many former slaves would both spread word of our good deeds and some would join us.

Archimedes: Leader of GRIT (Greater Reach in Technology)

Intent: To learn more about Zonju V and how to better live in it. To equip rangers with the best gear we can get our hands on. And to stride forward in scientific understanding. Your missions entail parts acquisitions, exploration, experiments, and testing of new equipment.

Gray: Leader of the Forward Scouts

Intent: Keep an eye on our enemies. The forward scouts primary job is to seek ways to defend the Saloon, help people with local problems, and to try to find Ranger enemies in moments of weakness.

Vince: Leader of PRICE (Preserving Relations Investment Contracts and Enterprises)

Intent: Fund Ranger operations and expand Ranger wealth making capacity. Basically you would do contracts, but you'd also seek to invest in legitimate businesses and create your own. Also you would be the primary diplomats of the Rangers meeting with other factions to discuss terms and agreements.

For Fenn, the best one there would be following Ross. She'd follow Vince, but Fenn isn't really into business.

Forgot to mention as you do missions you eventually gain a unit of npcs and if you do enough you can take a commanding role, organizing missions and policy.

As I said, you'd do missions for that division when you wanted, but the general missions would be available to all.

Like the new roster layout and the code status. As for special units, like Latte, I see my character fitting in more with Ross's special unit. That, or Gray's forward scouts. Maybe both if it were to be permitted.

Glad to hear you like it.

I'm still trying to hammer out details on how you rise in these divisions and new ones will crop up as we get more important npcs with their own agendas. I'm thinking perhaps you could do base level missions for all divisions, after a certain number you can do mid tier and then high tier missions with increasing reward and responsibility.

Whatever division you have the highest tier in will be how you're identified on the roster.

In other news, I'd probably be doing a lot of the MOSES stuff. But since my charrie has people skills he could also help with Vince's missions too. I'll check in farther once I get this first mission done.

Something to note for future missions, theres a slot that says NPCER. If it says Me on it that means I'll npc, if it is empty you can self npc or find someone else.
