Mandalore.

It was a province of the Sith Empire and yet it was still allowed to act very independently. Evandrus knew why, he understood why, he just had to admit that the people of Mandalore kind of bugged him. It was like they were an entire planet of people who all did the same things all the time and spoke to people who did the same things too. Where was the variety? Where was the spice that meant that they would actually have fun interacting with other people?

But they were here to get someone who was very Mandalorian. They were here to convince a weapons and ship designing prodigy that they should leave Mandalore and work for Lothal Intelligent Designs full time.

Now while he could have just had the man relocated to Lothal with Imperial power, he knew that the man would only work well if he was there because he wanted to be. Hence why they were here, approaching him as he stood in the sparse crowd of the arena.

Apparently fights were daily here and something to watch during lunch.

"Think this will be as easy as the boardroom?"

As he approached, with Xornoth beside him, Evandrus smiled a little bit.

"I hear this is a great spot for making lunch deals." he declared, announcing his presence to the prodigy they were here to meet. He didn't offer his hand to shake. "Lord Evandrus. Master Sk'ar. We're here to discuss a business proposal."

This was the first time that Xornoth had traveled to Mandalore although he recalled completing a mission with Evandrus for Mandalmotors at some point in the long distant past. There seemed to be much work left to do before the planet's inhabitants fully embraced the Empire but that was work for another day, today the pair were here on business. Lothal was destined to be a powerhouse for the Empire but in order to achieve this, they would need to hire the best and brightest otherwise what was the point?

"Perhaps not as easy, but likely to be more fun," Xornoth smirked as the thought of what they would do to the man if he was too stubborn.

Xornoth held still while Evandrus introduced them both, the smirk having now disappeared and only a neutral expression remained. The Sith were willing to negotiate to gain this Mandalorians trust and willingness however their patience was not without limit and would result in retribution if he was simply wasting their time.

[The Storyteller]

The Mandalorian prodigy Drey was in the stands of the arena having a space hotdog as he was watching two Mandalorians slug it out in the arena with training swords. Because fist fighting is too boring and using real vibroswords is for death matches, nor for fights for willy-nilly-entertainment. Drey was in Mandalorian Medium Armor that had House Vizsla colors on it, marking him as a member of that house. He is a younger prodigy who managed to disquisition himself to be a very capable fighter as well as weapons and starship designer of apparently enough repute to attract the attention of those two Sith who come before him. Drey had his helmet off, with it lying on the seats near him. The Sith knew who they came here for and could find him without too much trouble, and likewise Drey was here waiting for the Sith to show up, who should be showing up any minute now.

And then he heard it. Drey heard a voice directed his way about lunch deals. Drey would turn around to face the two man. Evandrus introduced himself and the alien beside him, Drey would have to be living under a rock not to know who the High Judge and the Head Warden are. Drey would respectfully bow his head towards the two. "Ah. Lord Evandrus. Master Sk'ar. Honored to see you both." he would have a neutral expression on his face now. "So, what can I help you with?". They are here to discuss things, so lets to get to it.

More fun eh?

Well, he would be the first to admit that talking things over could get a little bit stale. There was always time to discuss things but sometimes things were better off discussed through other means. The people here seemed to understand that better than most if the small, public, arena they were currently in was anything to go by.

Well, time to get stuck in.

"Well, Drey Vizla, I'll be blunt." Evandrus declared as he sat down beside the Mandalorian, looking down at the practice fight that was ongoing before them, "The Head Warden and I are working on a design company. We plan to provide the Empire with the best weapons and ship designs possible."

He paused and glanced at the Mandalorian.

"It is based out of Lothal and we want you to be our key designer."

Lothal itself had quickly risen in prominence amongst Imperial worlds and the position they were offering was quite the prestigious one as the prodigy would quickly make his own mark on the galaxy with their backing.

"Your funding will be only limited by what we can provide, thus near limitless. You will be well compensated and of course, we will give you the greatest facilities and minds in which to do your work from."

Their offer was a rare one that few other organizations could replicate as he would be relatively free to conduct his own work outside what work the pair sent his way.
