Hello and welcome to my introduction! It looks interesting, it sounds cool, and maybe it can offer you some relaxation and levity for the day!
So what can Aecus do for you? Well, Aecus is a longtime Star Wars fan, knows someone who knows someone who met George Lucas in a hallway in passing once, has been pretty heavily involved on another RP site a while ago (ran out of time, amicable, been years now), and beat Fallen Order on Grandmaster. What other qualifications could anyone need to help YOU with your Galactic conquest/liberation agendas!
But, more straight talk, I am someone who likes RPing. Have quite a bit of experience with forum based RPing, but not quite as "coded" as this one. Looking to do some writing, but my schedule fluctuates like crazy. I don't MIND being the guy getting axed off as long as it makes for a good story. I'm pretty laid back, but as far as storytelling goes, not a fan of fan service (ironic, I know... but think of a scene of Vader and Palps chilling in a nightclub and while I don't mind others liking that, I personally just have no idea what to do with it).
I do have a few questions regarding the sites particular timeline, mostly to hammer out some details on a character I most definitely haven't already been working on. First, exactly how long ago was the reunification? Last major conflicts between the Old Empire and Republica? Specific rules on captured jedi younglings/padawans? Logical issues? I'm aware of the ranks and levels system, just want to know for background/story reasons.
Basically I've read as much on the history and Galaxy as I can and have a few ideas about what I'd like to explore, but just want to be sure I'm not rehashing something already done or cornering myself into a particularly narrow RP experience by virtue of how amazingly extensive the history of this site seems to be (and likely missing quite a bit still).
Looking to potentially make some friends and maybe some frenemies.
