Onderon, Iziz

Stepping off of the transport from Coruscant, the Orange skinned Twi'lek stretched her arms and leaned her head back. This wasn't the first time that Nujina was on Onderon, she had been here quite a few times already and suspected that her work would take her back a few times more. Moving out of the way for the stream of tourists and travelers she looked around, this time, she wasn't out to deliver a package or message, no, she was out to buy a ship and after having checked out the available ships on Coruscant, she had decided to see what was for sale here on Onderon. Falling back into the stream of people coming from the transport she took out her datapad and brought up the list of potential ships she had picked out before they landed.

The first ship she brought up was a rather interesting one, the CAG-15 gunship, but after looking at the price tag she decided it wasn't within her price range yet and it would probably attract too much attention because of the aggressive look. Then she brought up the Allecto-Class Gunboat, apparently there was a few of them on Onderon for sale, but it didn't look like it would fit her as it looked a bit too aggressive, even worse than the CAG. After scrolling through a couple of additional models and dismissing them for one reason or the other, she came up to the Moonbell Shipyard's ship, the 820-Series Light Freighter. Looking up from her Datapad she showed the customs her ID, answered the quick questions about her visit and then proceeded to go through and into Iziz.

Temporarily putting away her Datapad she looked around and spotted a vacant table at a Café. Heading over to the small shop she stepped inside, ordered a large cup of Caf. Walking out of the shop she headed straight for the empty table she had seen and sat down, taking out her Datapad again and looked at the ship with the highest potential of her picking and leaving Iziz with. From the Details it seemed to provide a decently sized Cargo hold, a Hangar and even some defenses that wouldn't make her look like a pirate if she tried to go home to Serenno, and the best thing was that it looked to have plenty of room for Modifications.

Taking her cup she raised it to her lips and sipped the warm Caf as she locked her Datapad and put it away inside her bag, deciding to relax a bit before heading out to pick up her new home. With another sip of the life giving liquid she let out a soft hum, rolled her head a bit and leaned into the Chair. From here, she could see Dxun above, it was a rather interesting sight, to be able to look up upon another world without need of sensors or anything of the sort. She couldn't remember another system that had two worlds this close to each other, which was one of the reasons why Nujina liked Onderon, despite the dangers that the Dxun wildlife provided to the citizens of Iziz.

While she was daydreaming, her Datapad beeped, drawing her attention back into the present, sitting up straight she pulled out the Pad from her bag and unlocked it, another job had been sent her way, she was to bring something from Onderon to... Nar Shaddaa. She was tempted to decline it, but it was also a good excuse to head back to Serenno once the job was done, a quick scroll down told her that the pay was more than enough to cover her usual fee. Accepting the job she put away the pad and stood up, taking her bag and the paper cup of Caf as she began to walk down the street to pick up her new ship.

Once she arrived she was surprised to see two more potential buyers, or that's what she assumed. Walking up to the group she stopped beside the salesman and listened as he described what she already knew. Looking over at the others she tried to gauge which one of them looked the most likely to actually buy it. There was two Duros there, a Man and his Wife, she assumed, and a Human from the looks of it, with black hair, which was about what she managed to observe in the quick glance she took. Meanwhile the man who tried to sell them the ship continued on to ramble about it, providing useless information about the ship such as how it had been designed and why it had the model designation 820. Man, he could not sell a ship to save his life.

THEME

Onderon, a place that was beautiful, covered in lush forests, and has a moon almost as famous as itself, Dxun. Dedric had never been to the planet yet in his life but he had heard of it. In his book the planet was on the same level of interest as Corellia, Serenno and other worlds. While some people considered the core worlds to be the most important simply because they were in the center of the galaxy, Dedric saw Onderon not because of its cosmic location but just an interest of developed culture and history. Much had gone on with Onderon in the last century and continued to occur presently.

Dedric flew his hawkbat interceptor down to the surface of the planet. From overhead he could see the formation of the population centers that soon came into view as individual buildings and roads. The architecture was attractive and meant to have an aesthetic appearance. Many planets the Ossein had visited did not have any semblance of cohesion. Places like Tatooine just looked alike out of sheer lack of alternative practical methods. But other planets looked like ramshackled hives. Meanwhile the man was used to the relativly tight cordors inside space stations and space faring vessels.

Eventually Dedric touched the ship down and rented the parking space. He had chosen to not wear his buccaneer armor today. He was not sure whether the local authorities would be too tight in their nether regions to approve of such an outfit without sucpison when it came to outsiders. Instead he wore a newly acquired Hippeus Protective Kit. The helmet reclined to reveal his face and folded backwards so that the only indication of the helmet was on his neck and from his ears down. The dark locks of the man's hair waved slightly in the wind. Walking away from his ship he adjusted his backpack that hung over his outfit. Catching a glance at his blurry image in the reflection of his ship he made a mental note to change the color. Red was not his shade. Dedric much prefered blue.

Finding his way to the market he was looking for he found a ship that seemed decent enough. There were other better options out there in the galaxy. Some of them were no longer manufactured which made acquiring them difficult. But his nerf herder was not cutting it and his hawkbat interceptor was very short range. That was why his dream ship was a Thresher. However it would be awhile before he would get such a ship. For now he would settle for something at least better than the hand-me-down nerf herder light freighter he currently had in his possesion. As his thoughts strayed to ideas of future drink mixtures he realized the salesman speaking was on a monologue. It was evedent he was one of two things, anxious, or just ignorant. Still the Ossein Jazaq took some amusement from watching the man struggle with his attempts at providing interest in the ship. It seemed the orange skinned twi'lek and the two duros present felt the same. But the Mutt would eventually speak up as the man was in the middle of one of his sentences about some story of how his kids liked playing with a toy shaped similar to the model they were currently looking at. "Just tell me how much the ship costs." He said flatly, unable to resist the urge to roll his eyes.

As the Human spoke up about telling him, or them , how much the ship actually would cost she looked over at him. A man who wasn't afraid of interrupting someone in the middle of a ramble could mean a few things. Either he was really impatient and wanted the ship because he had to leave Onderon, which was plausible, but if that was the case, he'd probably just take the ship instead of purchasing it. He could also have heard the story a few times and didn't want to hear it another time, or, which was the most likely, he just had the balls to interrupt and not care if he was scolded. Though she did agree with him, being told what the price was would have made this a whole lot faster. Walking around behind the Duros and the salesman she walked towards the man who had spoken up.

He seemed to be wearing some piece of metal collar around his neck, but she couldn't tell properly without asking. But instead of doingthat she just silently took to his left and stood beside him. "I agree with the pale man, no offense to you, but we're here for the ship and not for a history lesson." She said and leaned to her side. Now that she stood in the shade rather in the sun, her choice of clothing wasn't as bad, but it was still somewhat uncomfortably warm. The two Duros looked at them as if they had shot the man, though she knew that they probably felt the same way but didn't want to voice their opinions. So, instead of sticking around they apologized to the Salesman and walked off, leaving Nujina and the Human behind so they could 'fight' over the ship.

The Salesman, a skinny, nervous looking bald human looked over at the two with a hint of relief but also annoyance. "So, I take it you two are interested? Considering y-you scared off the Duros, t-they've been on the f-fence for buying this for a week n-now."[/color] He spoke, trying to sound more intimidating than he was. Raising her left hand Nujina shook her head, Lekku's swinging slowly behind her head. "I never meant to scare them away, Sir, I just wanted to know what the ship costs, we both do." She said and glanced up at the Human to her side and then turned to the ship, approaching it. "I've been looking to buy a ship so I can do my work more freely for a while now, and I gotta say, the 820 is rather interesting." Nujina said, leaning on her hip as she took in the sight of the surprisingly tall freighter.

She turned around and looked at the two Humans in the Hangar and walked up to them again. "I'm ready to buy it, just say the price and where to sign and I'll take it." Something she had picked up from her time in the navy was to be assertive and keep a smile on your lips, as long as you smiled, people would act friendlier towards you and they'd think you were on their side, unless you were already shooting at each other of course. She turned to the black haired man, judging him for a second and deciding that since he was after the same ship, he might be a potential contact in the future, extending her right hand to him she shot him a quick wink. "Nujina, let me have the ship and I'll get you a drink." Smirking again, hoping he'd let her have the ship.

His words were seconded by the female twi'lek also present. His gaze wandered over to her, looking her up and down as he usually did with everyone, not just the females. But he did appreciate her attractive appearance. Still his eyebrows raised for a moment as he realized she referred to him as pale. The Duro couple seemed to be intimidated about his presence or maybe the lack of attraction the salesman was bringing to the metaphorical table. He watched them leave momentarily.

Dedric would stay silent as the twi'lek took the lead on making it easy on the salesman. He must not be very good or really desperate. If he just gave the ship to the twi'lek at a cheap price he would be a fool. Judging by the look of the salesman though that was exactly what he was. If Dedric had been selling the ship he would have noted the orange skinned female's interest and hiked up the price a little just for that. People who want something are willing to pay for it in one way or another and if you knew how badly someone wanted something you could milk the price.

The Ossein did not speak up on the salesman's behalf. He instead looked back over at the twi'lek and kept eye contact with her as she gave him the offer. He held up a two fingers. "Two drinks. It would not be too big of a lose. He was on the fence about this ship anyways and if they got into a bidding war she would probably be able to win as it was. Still, a few drinks with an attractive lady was not bad. He was curious if there was decent spirits brewed on the planet that suited his tastes. The man's eyes glanced over back at the salesman to see what he thought of all this.

As the human seemed to contemplate her offer of taking him out for a drink she looked over at the Salesman who, despite his previous confused look, looked even more puzzled now than before. So, when the man spoke up and drew her attention back to him she saw his fingers indicating that he wanted two drinks instead of just one, drawing a chuckle and smirk from the Twi'lek as she nodded, turning her ignored open hand into a single finger pointing at him. "Alright, sounds fair enough to me." she said and turned to the bald man who was even more confused now, had they sold the ship without talking to him? It seemed so.

With both hands on her hips she looked at the bald human and nodded at him. "Alright, let's sign those papers so I can get my ship." She said and turned to the man she was buying drinks for later. "Meet me at the bar known as Dxun's Light, should be easy enough for you to find." Nuijna spoke as she walked off with the salesman to finish the sale, sign the contract and then move her ship to a temporary docking bay where she could house it for a few days before having to find a different docking bay. Inside she was bouncing and giggling, but she held those emotions hidden away as she had been taught by her superiors when she was in the Navy, but, soon she would be off duty again and could relax.

As she entered the man's office he brought out the papers and told her where to sign and then said his price, odd way to do it as he had basically signed off the ship before taking the money, but she wasn't going to run away on him, so she paid him the credits he wanted and got the Launch codes, access pad and registration for the ship. When asked if she wanted to have the ship ID say a different name she hummed for a bit, she had a name in mind for the ship, but shook her head. She'd get that done at a later date.

With everything handed over she walked out into the Hangar Bay once again and lowered the docking ramp to the ship, feeling a sense of accomplishment washing over her as she heard the mechanics working along with the feeling of the hard metal underneath her boots as she stepped inside and closed the ramp behind her and made her way to the cockpit. Firing up the ship for the first time was a glorious moment, she let the engines warm up a bit before she took off and moved the couple of hundred meters needed to land in the temporary docking bay she had been assigned. From there she'd be able to fuel it up and then take off on her jobs she had coming in. But first, it was time for drinks. Leaving her bag behind she took what she needed and headed out into Iziz once again to find the Dxun's Light bar. Walking through the streets she felt lighter, as if the gravity had decreased from when she had exited the ship, but eventually she got to the bar.

Outside her company for the day wasn't around, so, she headed inside and looked around, trying to see if she could spot him from the entrance.

____________

Making a pretty lady smile was always something Dedric enjoyed doing. It was like seeing a rainbow after a storm and just perked him up no matter what mood he was in. "See you there." He smiled in response, waving at her as he departed. They would see one another soon enough. The man did not look at a the salesman again as he left. He whistled to himself for a block, before turning into a hum. The city was pretty at this time and he was glad he had run into the twi'lek at this time during the day. If they had arrived at another point in time there might not have been any decent drinking establishments open for them to get drinks.

He activated his Hippeus Protective Kit once he left the place of business. The item had cost him a fair amount of credits but was helped out by the fact he had looted numerous black market weapons on Nar Shaddaa. The coin he had acquired was since he had kept little in the ways of the small arms and other items. However it had allowed him to afford his decent attire he currently wore as well as pay the other necessary bills and expenses.

He thought of the name she had told him to remember and look for. Dxun's Light, probably had a celestial logo of some kind. Surely enough he found the establishment, its name emblazoned on the same sign that had an icon that must represent a glare of sunlight off the surface of Dxun. The moon now was in view of Onderon and made the situation rather beautiful. Entering the bar he saw it was not overly crowded. The light was dim enough to see comfortably.

He would let his hippeus armor kit retract once more as he walked in between tables to eventually saddle up to the bar, he ordered a simple whiskey for himself without any ice. There were few others present but he looked at the other libations the bar had to offer. He spoke with the bartender a little about the local events. He seemed perfectly fine in doing so since there were not any others along the bar counter to interact with. Dedric would continue to do so, sipping his current drink as he waited for his company to arrive.

From the Entrance of to Dxun's Light, she couldn't spot the man she had promised two drinks in exchange for a ship, so instead of waiting around that it was probably smarter to head on in. Moving down the stairs she glanced around at the people who crowded the bar, scanning them for the man who had yet to introduce himself to her. After navigating the floor for a bit she decided to head up to the Bar, as it'd probably be easier to spot him from there. During her walk over there she spotted a red collar resting behind a white jacket, sitting on a Black Haired man's chest. So, he had managed to find the place in time. Closing the distance between her and the bar she stopped beside him and rested her right hand on his shoulder as she sat down on one of the bar stools.

Starting without me?" she asked and looked to the Bartender. "I'll have a glass of Brandy, thank you." She said and nodded to him before turning to the man at her side, moving her hand away from his shoulder to the bar counter, leaning on it she looked around for a bit, trying to pick out in her head what people were like without having to talk to them. Considering the time of the day, most people looked like travelers or drunks, and some looked like both. But instead of keeping her eyes traveling all around the bar she turned back to her company with a tilt of her head. "So, what's your name, stranger? Or shall i refer to you as Two Drinks from now on?" She asked with a slight tilt of her head that got turned towards the Bartender as he returned with her glass. Thanking him for the glass she took a sip from the smooth brandy, despite the cool temperature of the liquid it still burned a bit as it went down, just like good brandy should, she thought to herself.

Last time she had been here in Iziz she had been to this bar during the later hours, and thus she couldn't remember much of the night, as it had rather quickly turned into a blur of people, drinks and games. But for some reason she had woken up on a Starliner on its way to Coruscant with more credits than she had arrived to Onderon with, so it must have been a rather successful night. Today, was hopefully not going to end in such a manner, as she did have a ship she had to move from the temporary docking bay within three days and if she ended up on a Starliner to Coruscant, she wouldn't make it back in time. Swirling the liquid inside her glass she looked up to the Human at her side and tilted her head slightly, he was interesting, and she was looking forward to getting to know him, you never knew when contacts would come in handy.

The man waited patiently as he enjoyed his first beverage. For some reason he looked back over towards the door. Perhaps he was eager to have the drink with the attractive twi'lek. Perhaps it was his instincts telling him to just be aware of his surroundings. Whatever the reason was music started playing at that exact moment. He saw the orange skinned twi'lek standing in the doorway and a slow smile crept on his face. She did not seem to see him right away but he would wait until she found him. He was confident she would do so.

Once she came by and began the conversation he could only shrug and cock his head to the side as if he had no other choice but start drinking alone. "The name's Dedric Ryker. Two Drinks doesn't roll off the tongue quite as well." He said taking a sip from his current drink, finishing the last of it. He was a quick drinking and was of stout resolution. His liver was practically made of iron at this point.

"What's your name lady orange? I can call you Haggler if you want but I don't think that would do you justice." Dedric kept his smile throughout. He felt like he was getting a bit of a flirtatious vibe from the female and wanted to keep it going even if it never led to anything but decent company and copious libations.

Raising her glass to her lips she took another sip of the Brandy, enjoying the distinct taste as she turned to the man who introduced himself as Dedric Ryker. Tilting her head slightly she nodded at him and the tip of her right lekku raised up in turn, a silent 'Hello' in Twi'leki body language. Taking another sip from her Brandy she had to do her best to not choke on it as he said that he could call her Haggler, swallowing and chuckling she covered her mouth with the back of her hand and shook her head.

"I've been called many different things, sir Ryker." She said with a smirk. "But this has to be the first time I've been called Haggler." She said and sat down her drink. Looking at the man she saw the red collar around his neck, perhaps it was a slave collar and he an escaped slave? But then again, he didn't give away the feeling of being an escaped slave, so perhaps that wasn't in. Her eyes looked up into his and she tilted her head again, almost debating whether or not she should say her name, again. "Nujina, Nujina Trilaet, at your Service." She said and picked up her glass and raised it in a quick salute before taking a swig of the warming brandy. "So, Dedric, what brings you out to Onderon? Surely it can't be to try and steal ships from innocent women such as myself?" She asked with a grin that turned into a smirk as she raised her brow. "Or perhaps you meant to go to Dxun and took a wrong turn?"

The Twi'lek teased and chuckled, downing her Brandy and waving over the Bartender. "Get us a bottle of Vodka and glasses to shot." she said and fished out a few credit chips, placing them on the counter, it should cover both of their drinks and the bottle she just ordered. The Bartender looked at them for a second before complying and slid an unopened bottle of clear liquid towards them along with two small glasses. "Here, dear, is drink number two." She said with a grin and twisted the cork on the bottle open and poured up two shots, one for her and one for him. It had been far too long since she last got truly drunk, and considering she had just picked up a ship for herself and had somewhat decent company, why not celebrate with hazy memories and a wicked hangover the following morning? To Nujina, that, sounded like a very good plan.

Now all she had to do was enjoy this bottle of Vodka and the company she had and she was going to find herself regretting the night's decisions in the morning, but, that was something for future Nujina to regret, current Nujina wanted to get wasted.

He mouthed the words Sir Ryker a moment after she said them as if he was contemplating whether or not he had liked that better than anything either of them had said so far but returned to paying attention to the woman. The man did notice her gaze linger around his throat. Either she was thinking of doing something to it or she noticed the collar that was how the Hippeus Protective Kit stored itself. He would wait until she inquired about it though instead of assuming one thing or another.

Dedric chuckled at the obvious jest about him theiving from women. She made it sound like he was robbing innocent damsels in distress. "Firstly I'll have you know that I don't steal....I...re-appropriate items at my own personal discretion. Secondly, and I mean this as a devote feminist, I doubt you're an innocent woman. Thirdly I have a great sense of direction. I only get lossed on the road to redemption and end up in a casino somewhere."

He kept his smile, letting her know he was joking. He was liking the twi'lek more and more. As she bought the clear spirit and nodded before downing his own drink. He held up a hand though as the drinks were poured. . "We should toast though. You have a new ship. I still have my old ship" He had tons of toasts especially since he had traveled to bars and cantinas across the stars. But he was curious what the twi'lek would toast for. It said something about what a person valued when they toasted.

Nujina couldn't help but laugh as he explained his situation regarding 're-appropriating' items at his own personal discretion. Shaking her head she twisted the cap back onto the clear bottle and turned to Dedric as he began to talk about how he was a 'devote feminist', which caused her to raise her brow and tilt her head slightly to the left when he stated his doubts about her being an innocent woman, drawing a smirk and a wink from the Twi'lek as she slid one of the small glasses over to him. When he finished his small speech she nodded to him. "Well, after tonight, you're only going to wish for a road away from the Hangover." she chuckled and took her drink in her hand and turned her attention back to him as the man suggested a toast.

"A toast you say?" She asked and raised her brow again as she leaned against the counter, turning to face him fully in her seat she hummed for a bit. Remembering how she used to toast almost everything with her fellow wing-mates back on Serenno. She remembered one of the stupidest rules they had among themselves, the one who shot down the most Jedi or Exiles had to down as much as possible straight from a Vodka bottle, while the one who had attained the most damage on their ship had to drink a twisted blend of Beer, wine and other stuff that had been mixed into it.

Wondering what she would toast about she turned the question in her head back onto Dedric, he seemed like a man who would take care of himself first and foremost, but, as she had been finding out during the last few week, her ability to judge people had been lacking lately, and tonight, they were on a strike it seemed, perhaps, it was because of the long day and alcohol she had begun to consume. "Hmm, alright, let's toast then!" she said with an eagerness in her voice she had not been expecting. "To future Drinks, Haggling and open skies!" She said, raising the glass before moving it up to her mouth and kicking her head back along with the glass, downing the first shot of the night and it was certainly not the last one she would be downing. A shiver rolled through her body as she laughed, unscrewing the cap once again and pouring herself another shot and waited for Dedric's toast.

If she had to guess, judged on his presence by the Ship when she showed up, it was going to be something ship related and the fact that he said that he still had his old ship meant that he was also a pilot of sorts, whether he was any good or not, she couldn't judge, but at least he had a good taste in ships from what she could tell from only initially meeting him. Having poured herself another shot she slid the bottle over to him, so he could refill his glass after his shot and toast.

The man liked where the woman's thinking was going. An implied hangover meant they would be continuing to drink together. "To good drink and good company. May we never run low on either." His own toast made with a slight increase in altitude of his glass before downing his own. After finishing the beverage quiclly he slammed the glass down so that it made an mildly audible clack. He grabbed the bottle as she slid it over and poured the next shot for himself.

"Giving me a hangover is not an easy task. I once drank a devaronian under the table and do you know why that is something to brag about?" His smile giving a slightly smug and self-aware arrogant appearance. He did not really think he was better than anyone else but there were times where confidence had its part to play. He was feeling pretty good about himself presently. The warming affects of alcohol circulating in his system, an attractive female next to him making fun conversation. What was not to like about the present situation.

"What do you plan on doing with your new and wonderful ship now that you have it?" He was curious what the woman had in mind due to the type of ship she had just purchased. If she had seen his hawkbat interceptor she would have been able to make some assumptions about him. The same could be said if she had also seen the family nerf herder that he rarely ever used, taking up space a collecting dust on the Ossein Flagship.

A toast to drinking and company? She liked his style. He remembered her quite a bit of the people she had served with back in the day, most of the time, people would drink to forget or to just drink, so, toasts like his were a common occurrence back then. However, bragging about drinking a Devaronian under the table, that wasn't something a whole lot of people could do. "So, if I drink you under the table, I'll have drunken him under the table by proxy then, eh?" She smirked and raised her glass, kicking it back and swallowing the clear alcohol. Putting down the glass more carefully than her drinking partner she grinned.

Then he threw an oddball at her with a question about what she would do with her new ship, she had originally only intended to use it for traveling purposes, to get from point A to point B and then to point C only to start over again, but, it was a big ship, and she did have plenty of space in it. "You know, I haven't really thought too much about that." she said and looked at the counter then up at him with a raised brow. "I just knew I needed a ship first and foremost, the 820-series is a good platform and most of importantly of all, it's not a Nerf Herder." she said with a smile.

Now that she thought a bit about it, she hadn't got a clue about what kind of ship he flew. It said a lot about a pilot what kind of ship they flew, most of the time, anyone flying single-pilot ships tended to be very daring and rather active people, while those who flew larger ships tended to take their time. But of course, this was just what she had experienced. Reaching for the bottle she waggled her fingers at the bottle of Vodka as she spoke. "What about you? What would you have done if not Miss Haggler had shown up and swept it out from beneath your feet?" Chuckling as a grin appeared on her lips, turning her eyes up to Dedric's.

The man tilted his head slightly in a begrudging manner. "I guess you could word it like that. I'll admit the next morning I was not feeling like I had won. I'm not exactly rushing to do it again." Somewhere inside of him he still had his competitive nature that really did want to see which one of them could drink more. However he had a feeling they were going to see more of one another in the future and so would have plenty of time to test it out later.

A nerf-herder, the interstellar version of a family hover-van in his opinion. It had its uses but the only reason the Ossein had kept the vehicle over the years is in the rare event he needed a ship to travel with a built in hyperdrive. Unfortunatly his hawkbat interceptor was considered to be little more than two blaster cannons, an engine and a wings. It did not have a hyperdrive and was short range, limiting him to rely on other transport to get him to his work. That would change soon once he got the ship he was after. "On that we can agree." He threw back his next drink considering that a toast. He moved to grab the bottle again and refilled the small glass almost to the brim but just enough below that it would not spill easily.

"You might hate me for this, especially now that we are a few drinks in." He creased his lips together and tilted his head down while keeping eye contact like he was hoping the Twi'lek would not take what he was about to say to harshly. His face was just expressive and he did not really feel like it was that big of a deal but it was more of his unintentional expression that was just part of his charm. "I probably was not going to buy that ship anyways. I fly a Hawkbat interceptor, it doesn't have a hyperdrive so I'm on the lookout for something like a T2 Thresher. It seems I've got two drinks out of it though…make that three." He said as he threw back another one hoping it would not be his last with the woman. She did seem like the type of lass that would probably just laugh it off.

Watching as Dedric took the bottle for himself again instead of handing it over to her, she looked up at him. As he said that she might hate him for what he was about to say she raised a brow, why would she hate him for not giving her the bottle? As he filled his shot again she took the bottle this time, making sure that she could get another shot. When he then put on a rather, apologetic look, like a wounded puppy, she felt kind of bad for taking the ship from him. However as he announced that it was never his intention of buying the ship she was caught a bit off guard. Watching him throw back the third shot of Vodka she looked at the bottle, the glass next to her and then up to him.

A small frown appeared on her lips before turning into a grin again, filling her glass again she chuckled, raising her glass and downing it and slamming it back down onto the counter. The Twi'lek looked up at him once more, tilting her head slightly. "Well, in that case, Dedric, the next bottle is on you." The Twi'lek purred as she moved the bottle up to her lips, winking at him and throwing her head back for a few seconds before lowering it and handing it over, pressing it against his chest. "I-I think whe are past glasses now." She said and chuckled, tonight was going to end with a delightful hangover, but hey, at least she had Company who had humor.

The rest of the night passed in a blur, the first bottle of Vodka disappeared shortly after she had taken the first swig from it, followed by some Gin, then a few Cider and a glasses of Brandy again on her part. At some point during the night, they had moved away from the Bar to a table and had been joined by a group of men and women and played cards for a few hours, how it had gone, she had no idea. Sometime after midnight, the music had changed and a dance floor had appeared, so of course, Nujina had dragged Dedric up there but she couldn't remember how long they had been up there, or if they had actually gone up there at all.

The first thing Nujina felt as she woke up, if it could be called waking up, was how her head felt like it had been split in two. Groaning she pressed the back of her head into the pillow she was resting her head against and made a silent vow to not drink as much again, but, this wasn't the first time she had made that vow, nor would it be the last. Opening her eyes her vision was blurry, having just waken up she blinked a few more times, clearing her vision a bit as she realized she was looking up into the ceiling of the ship she had bought the day before.

'Huh, that's good, at least I made it back to bed' She thought to herself. Closing her eyes she turned to her side, feeling the thin blanket resting against her bare skin she shivered a bit. Normally, she didn't undress fully when she went to bed, so, she must have gotten really drunk for that to have happened. Reaching out with her arms she pulled herself close and rested her head against the warm pillow in the bed, when she realized it wasn't actually a pillow and that she wasn't alone in the one-person bunk. 'At least be good looking' repeated in her head as she turned her head up and saw a very tired looking human.

One who had given up a ship he hadn't even planned on buying in exchange for a couple of drinks that had turned into a bottle, then two somewhere down the line, Dedric Ryker. Letting out a tired sigh she put her head against his chest and closed her eyes, she had after all woken up on worse places than this. Slowly feeling like she was waking up, memories of the night began to appear in fragments inside her head. Bits and pieces telling her what had been done during the night, and most of it wasn't stuff she'd be ashamed of, but it also wasn't stuff she'd be running around talking about either.

She wasn't sure if he was awake, he could be laying there just to be nice to not have gone home with her and then left in the early hours of the night, but at the moment, she didn't complain. Having something warm to rest against under a thin blanket that could barely be called that was a lot better than sleeping alone, now, if only her headache would go away.

Drinking, drinking, buying more drinks, playing cards, and drinking some more. The Ossein Jazaq had even danced. While he he was a little rusty he thought he did pretty well, despite being significantly intoxicated. That was what consisted of Dedric's night as he shared it with a few others but mostly Nujina. He had not blacked out, he never blacked out. Perhaps it was his mixed blood line but he was sturdier than most humans and his hardy physique allowed him to consume more spirits. Still the night would take its toll. He would help the orange skinned twi'lek back to her ship and it would be there he stayed after they shared a bed.

<><><><><>
The next morning though. That was less of a buzz and more of a pain. His head had a slight ache to it, likely due to the dehydration caused by the near constant consumption of alcohol. Silently he wondered if he was even feeling a hangover or if he was still drunk. The hangover would only come after the alcohol left his system. He did not want to admit it but he had puked once the night before. It had been as clean as could be, in a bathroom, alone, with no real stench. If he was the type of person who got black out drunk he would not be able to tell from his clothes or bodily musk that he had tried to void the toxic substance from his body.

Keeping his eyes closed he shifted his position a little. At least it was not bright where he was. The shooting pain of a bright day after a long dark night was one of the things he loathed as much as people chewing with their mouth open. But none of that unpleasantness was present.

A moment later he felt the warm touch of another against his flesh as he slightly shifted his position. Creaking open both of his blue eyes he saw it was Nujina. He did not need to look under the sheets to know she was naked as well. The man did not move, not because he was afraid of disturbing Nujina but rather because he knew that if he moved he would feel the consequences of the night before. He was not experiencing the spinning room yet, or maybe he already had and was past that stage of recovery. Instead he let out a low slow murmur that would let the woman know he was awake. "Please tell me this ship came with a coffee maker."

Resting her head against Dedric's chest she tried to drift back to sleep, allowing her head to move with his breathing. It was a comforting feeling to have someone to rest against. Slowly, it felt as if the headache was fading away as she was drifting into sleep again when he spoke. Raising her brow without opening her eyes she felt the need for Caf increasing as well. His question was one she did not have an answer for, but, she might as well just find out. Pushing herself up felt like driving a blade into her forehead as she sat up in the small cot and let the blanket fall off her as she looked at him with pained eyes, yet despite the crushing hangover, she smiled and tilted her head a bit. With a hazy voice she whispered, "I don't know, I'll go and check." She felt as if the ship was launched into orbit, gravity pulling her back down into the bed as she rested against him once again. "Aaalright, for real this time..." she murmured and crawled over him and slid down onto the floor.

Feeling the cool air of the ship against her bare skin she reached around until she felt something soft in her hand she pulled it close and into her lap before angling her head down to look at what it was. "Imma borrow this..." she said with a groan as she put on the white shirt she had found on the floor. As she pressed her hands into the cold floor, Nujina slowly stood up, swaying a few seconds before walking off into the mess hall that she had, the day before, designated as the living room. It would be one after some redecoration, but for now, it was a small Mess hall. How anyone could function while hungover and just having gotten out of bed, was beyond her. Getting to the cupboards too a lot longer than she would like to admit.

But, once she had reached them, she opened up the various cabinets and found a limited amount of supplies. It seemed that the ship was sparsely stocked to encourage people stocking up on Onderonian supplies before leaving the system. 'Kriffing hell...' she thought to herself as she moved the few boxes around until a small water boiler appeared. Smiling she brought it out and walked over to the sink, filling it with water and then walked back to plug it in and set the water to boil. Once that was done, she set out on finding some instant-Caf, but before that, she had to stand still for a couple of seconds to breathe and stabilize herself before rummaging through the rest of the boards with seemingly intensifying headache.

At last! A small container of instant-Caf! Taking the small glass container out she twisted the lid open and tried to remember which cabinet had cups in them. She managed to find four small ones, all with the text "I 'Heart' Onderon", but the heart was replaced by a small green planet. Shaking her head, which she regretted after almost throwing up she poured the boiling water into two cups and added the instant-Caf to them. Letting it set she made her way back into the Crew Quarters and leaned against the door. "You know... I could get used to seeing someone laying there.." she said with a smirk, trying to be charming or flirty, but her headache was making it very hard. "Caf's done, by the way." she said and walked back the way she came, still wearing the white shirt she had found on the floor. She swayed past the cups, took one of them and sat down in the only couch in the Mess Hall, leaning her head back before raising her cup up to her lips and taking a slow swig from it. "Aaaah, that's liiife..."

As the woman crawled over him he stifled a groan but then looked to see her silhouette pass through what little light there was in the ship at the moment. He heard her move around for awhile. He stretched his toes, his legs and even popped a few joints. Then Dedric realized how nauseous he was feeling and knew what would possibly come soon. He decisively got out of bed and hopped he would not stub his bare feet on anything. The cold floor seemed to delay the discomforting feeling that was rising from his stomach up through his chest like a semi permeable cloud of cotton. Entering the small bathroom he leaned against the bulkhead with one outstretched arm. The other dangling lazily by his side. Steadying his breath he stared at the dark bowl and thought about everything that happened last night.

Step by step he went through what they had done. He had first met the woman, then they had gotten drinks, devolved into rambunctious conversation. They moved to a few other bars and engaging in other fun activities. He realized he did not even know what time it was. It felt like he had not been drinking for a whole day, more like half of one. That meant as soon as he left the ship it would probably be none or later judging by the amount of sleep he had gotten, or at least felt he had earned.

After all that thought he realized his stomach had settled and he would not be throwing up at all. He began walking back to the bed, wanting to return to its meek size meant for only one person. He was sitting down, about to get into a reclined position when he saw Nujina in the door way again. He smiled at her and her words before deciding it was best to get up. The call of coffee only made this a stronger motivator. Grabbing his trousers he pulled them on, doing both legs simultaneously as he was in the sitting position. He zipped and buttoned them as he walked over to get his caffeinated beverage, the belt that was still looped he did not even bother fastening for the time being.

Accepting the mug silently he took a few sips. It was not gourmet but he would not dare complain. It was about as good as it got with this feeling. If he did have high end grounds it would probably still taste the same to his simplified state. At her sound of pleasure from drinking the beverage he rumbled an agreeing murmur on an almost blissful level. "I think you need a bigger bed." He smiled as he eventually made a response to her statement about liking someone in her bed.

As the Caf worked on reinvigorating her dulled mind she felt a wave of warmth washing through her with each slow sip of the warm drink. While mind was slowly getting refueled she began to think back at the night that had come and gone in a hazy blur. She could remember some bar hopping, meeting a few more people at some point during the night but she couldn't for the life of her figure out what they had done before coming back to the ship.

Taking another sip of her Caf she looked up at Dedric as he made a comment about her needing a bigger bed. Despite her massive headache, she felt her lips tugging and she nodded slowly. "Yeah, but, I didn't chose that bed, I think." She said and looked up into the ceiling for a couple of seconds before looking back down into the cup. The small waves of nausea that had rolled through her guts had slowed down dramatically, no longer did the slow urge of throwing up come by every couple of minutes. Instead it seemed that the caf had done a pretty good job with calming her stomach into a more at peace state, though the urge returned every so often.

Normally, she would have finished her cup of Caf by now and headed back out by now, but, considering that the urge to walk was about on the same level as wanting to shoot herself in the foot right now, she must have drank a lot. Her first cup of Caf was empty a lot sooner than she wanted it to be, meaning she had to force herself up from her seat and walk past Dedric to get to the Water boiler. Putting her hand against the side of it she confirmed that it was still hot enough to be used for Caf. So, lifting it up she brought it back with her along with the instant caf powder and sat both down on the table between them. Taking her seat once again she lift up the Boiler and poured herself another cup before adding more Instant-Caf to it. Taking the spoon she had used to stir the Caf the first time, she slowly began to move it around once more inside the cup.

"You know, you ain't half-bad lookin' with a Hangover." she said with a smirk and looked up at Dedric after a few moments of stirring the cup. She knew that silence was probably preferred in this situation, but, talking a bit helped alleviate the awkwardness of sitting half-naked and hungover in front of someone you had just woken up next to.

What would he do for the day he wondered. Probably take it easy. Once his head cleared he would probably try and see if Nujina wanted to go another round or two. His eyes drifting to her exposed legs beneath his T-shirt. It did not fit her well but that just made the view pleasant. He definitely felt differently about her than other women and it was not the sobriety he was thinking of.

"That's cuz I was twice as good looking last night." he said with a chuckled. He knew he may have the disheveled look going for him that worked for the privacy of the ship but he would need to probably change and shower sooner rather than later. Then an idea popped into his head and a slightly devious smile creased the sides of his mouth. His eyes returning to Nujina.

"The ship has coffee…what about a shower?" If the answer was what he hopped it would be then maybe the orange skinned twi'lek would join him. Along with a high tolerance for alcohol Dedric also seemed to only have mild hangovers compared to other people. Perhaps the woman was not feeling up for it so soon but either way he definitely needed a shower. He felt the dried sweat on his body from earlier exertions and even though he had been drinking he could tell he reeked of alcohol in his pores.
