When she was briefed that Attahox was an Imperial dump, she was not told how literally a dump it was... even the spaceport. Tippy had been reminding her and her two companions over and over just to be careful of breathing the nasty air, to be leery of people, to be... after a while, she tuned him out until he was left in sullen silence, sometimes beeping in his rudimentary way the disdain he could somehow scrap up with even his limited processing capabilities. It was strange that this was a spaceport of value to those underground... even stranger that the hangars were occupied by Imperial officers. Were they recently demoted?

However, this was Imperial space, with guard and a small armed force always on patrol. When most forces had parted to Mimban, Nikka used the opportunity of distraction. If the station were armed to the teeth, it would have been more difficult. But now, it was ripe for the plucking. Ripe for the Alliance.

"So," she asked nonchalantly, tugging on her synthleather duster and letting the long locks of her dark brown hair fall from its' tight braid. "How should we go about this? Guns blazing?" She gave a mischievous grin to her companions as Tippy powered down a landing in one abandoned hangar; it seemed a skeleton crew had been left with the guard to protect the spaceport. Who would want a junk planet, anyways?

Well... she did.

Pulling on the mask filter, she tilted her brows at her two companions, one hand resting on the hilts of her lightsabers. "Or would either of you like the honor of the first takeover?"

When Tippy beeped and twittered at her, she shrugged. "Keep an ear out, you've got connections. Tell me when our location is compromised. I'll call you in when we secure the port. Now then..." she squared her shoulders as the ramp lowered. Still no sign... worrisome at best. Even more so when they landed without interference. How much time did they have?

"Onwards to the wretched hive of scum and villainy. Any questions?"

Kruger made a few last checks of his gear. His pistol all ready in his holster would probably not be needed for this attack since he had both his wookie bowcaster with 8 more clips and that was a real beast. Better than the repeater to since it was not as much of a spray a pray type weapon and they wanted to secure this spaceport not destroy it.
For the rest Kruger had two knock out and two riot grenades for less lethal crowd control options. Still his flamer thrower was in a bag.

Kruger took a look at the spaceport setup on his data pad. It was not big but still had a imperial garrison. Probably best to take out there Head Quaters and communications. "what if we hit this compound here, seems like they run most of there garrison from there. Though I am up for any thing as long as we get to kill some imperials"

The landing seemed to go smoothly enough, in fact a bit to smoothly. Even abandoned landing pads had some sort of criminal low life's running a protection racket. Still this was not the highest quality space port. Maybe this was just a abandoned hanger. Placing his helmet on Kruger gave it a twist as it sealed. The suit was more that armor and protected Kruger from many environmental threats.

Not caring who shot first Kruger gave a nodd for to the out side and followed his bag slung over his back. "no questions from me only blaster bolts"

Joran was in the shuttle, rather uncomfortably between 2 people which he had not seen before, landing on a planet he did not know, which according to all reports was the dump of the galaxy. Great. Just.... Why were they here? Why oh why? Fighting through muck and grime wasn’t exactly the dream he envisioned when he decided to fight for the Alliance. But now, he was here, and so he decided to get on it. Listening to Kruger’s idea, he noted it was the most logical. They could control defences, shut down the hangars so the Imperials couldn’t fly in. He said
“I agree with Kruger’s idea.” As they came down the ramp.

Apart from her two lightsabers, strapped to either hip, she had also her blaster, and the vibrodagger. Today was not the day for philosophy or posturing, but action. She knew neither of these men, but she had to trust her back to them. Hopefully, they would do the same for her...

The landing opened with a hiss to silence. Fetid air rushed through, and Nikka thanked the stars for the filter mask she had been granted the foresight to obtain... she had no idea how her companions fared. By wordless acknowledgement she would be the first to descend into the murky silence. Her hands on either hilt... no beings glowed in her Sight, and Tippy didn't shriek in alarm.

"Compound, you say?" she murmured, tilting her head. "Due west. Three hangars, probably on patrol. I'll take ground, if you two don't mind being counter and rear guard. We don't want to trip alarms before entering the building."

So saying, she threw up the hood of her hood, giving an unseen. "Shall we, gentlemen? I feel like taking the Imperials down a peg or two myself."

Kruger gave a shallow bow of sort and tilted the bow caster westward. "Be my guest. I will make sure anything bothering you on how way in does not do so for long." Kruger did not mind some one more agile taking point. But he would be ready to step in when needed. "let's hurry this up, I don't really think I would like thus part of the space port. I hope tge nicer part as a good canteen for when we are done."

The area was still deserted and dirty. Kruger was glad for the fact his suit was some what sealed since it seemed like the place never got washed or cleaned up. Bussnies must be slow on this world. GA activity would benefit this place a lot more than getting rid of the sith

"Lead the way sir." Joran said as he walked down behind Nikka. He would take up a position as the rear guard, being the worst of all 3 people at fighting here. Looking round at the state of the hangar, it completely befuddled him why they were focusing on this world again. But, it would be nice of them to try and help these people he guessed. Sometimes, they just needed a helping hand, and if they received it, then perhaps it wouldn't be such a bad world at all. He would follow Nikka for the time being however, and see what she had in mind.

"A nice canteen with a good set of drinks..." she muttered with a groan. "Better have it, or the Imperials will answer to me."

The first walk-through wasn't so bad. Three other hangars, with nothing more than the skeleton crew of natives, who ran on sight of the trio. She was sure they made quite the sight... but then again, she wasn't here to make useless actions against those that had no desire to fight nor alert the compound to their presence. Somehow, this was easy.

Too easy.

It was when this thought arrived, that there were footsteps behind, and coming closer, fast ones. To the left behind one hangar, and then...

There were two soldiers ahead. Ah, first patrol. One had a heavy blaster repeater. Not again. The last time she had faced one of those, she had to be in medbay for three weeks to repair. One of her blades were brought out of their clip and blazed to life. While her left hand was prepared for offense, her left began to pool the power needed to be defensive.

The other soldier was prepared with a heavy rifle on the ready. Then, the first began to fire.

Straight towards the blind woman.

Kruger did not have the force but he was a combat veteran and he suspected something was wrong long before the patrol came. Kruger did not know if fleeing natives had altered the patrol directly or indirectly or if this was there patrol route. Either way it did not mater. As soon as the first solder was spotted Kruger moved fore cover and got ready.

There was still a chance, a slime chance but one non the less of the fight being avoided. But as soon as the first solder fired Kruger opened up. Though firing far slower the heavy shot from the bow caster hit the solder straight on to the chest. His armour unable to withstand the blast of the heavy bolt he went tumbling to the ground clutching hi chest badly wounded as Kruger fired a second shot though haven not compensated enough for recoil this one was high. Either way he would draw fire away from Nikka "We need to deal with these fools quickly our stealth is now blown"

As Joran and the others moved to the compound, everything seemed quiet. Lovely! Less combat, an easier mission. Grand. Of course, things like this never are this easy.
In fact, several seconds later, his little theory was completely disproved when the first patrol arrived. Since he was at the back, he had 2 bodies in the way, which made his position safer by quite a bit. However, the 2 in front would reach cover soon, which would negate that advantage. Therefore, the first thing he did was rush into cover, and wait for someone else to do the same. Kruger fired a shot which got one enemy, and then went into cover. This was Joran’s chance. He fired 2 shots at the enemy through the gap which had appeared, which crashed into another soldier. However, the enemy began returning fire and pinned Joran down with intense fire

She was ready.

The first round was deflected in a series of flurries and elegant movements. True, none of the deflected bolts had hit their intended target, but she did not want her companions to suffer the hits themselves.

The first one toppled, dying before he even reached the ground, his hands still clutching the bolt Kruger had fired. The second one had begun the first spray, distracted by Kruger's drawing fire. The second bolt landed in the right shoulder, and the surprise shot made the soldier stumble back.

Then two more arrived.

This just got better and better.

Now that there were two once more, courtesy of Joran, she lunged forward.

Both soldiers were gone before they even hit the ground. The one that still had the bolt embedded in his shoulder kept trying to raise the heavy blaster to fire, but the hit was just enough that he would have to pull it out to move. He was pinned, unable to fire back, but Nikka would not kill an unarmed man.

Two more were coming from their shift, alerted to the shots.

It seemed that their cover had been blown... and now it was time to fight their way to the compound.
"Perhaps another path. Are you all right?"

The two sabers were lit, and put into a defensive stance. In either case, she would protect her companions' backs until they could retreat to an alternate route... or fight their way through another shootout.

Kruger got his blaster steady and fired another heavy bolt towards the 2 new solders rushing in to the sound of combat. Agian the power of the heavy weapon that was the wookie bowcaster came through. The shoot hit the man in the shoulder, it was not lethal but hit him with such force than the man spun around and flew backwards and smashed in to a wall before falling to the ground in pain. firing 2 more rapid shots at the other guy he knew he would miss but the bolts would distract him.

Back behind cover Kruger started the slow process of reloading his bowcaster. The heavy fire power was of set by a rather small number of shot before a need to reload. Still with 2 more companions Kruger knew he would be able to reload in safety. "Negative, we need to be a aggrieve and keep the pressure and not let them get organized" So far they where drip feeding them and if the fell back the imps could regroup and attack with enough numbers. Now that there stealth was blown the only way was for them to be aggressive and push forward as fast a they could.

"Yes, I'm fine!" He said with a slight hint of irritation. If he wasn't, he would probably be screaming in pain or just dead. Simple. However, he knew he probably shouldn't be so harsh, and so channelled his anger by firing at the Imperials. He eventually began to develop a decent pattern of fire with Kruger. The heavy bolts which came from the bowcaster was deadly, but it was slow and needed to be reloaded often. So whenever Kruger reloaded, Joran began opening fire, holding down the Imperials. From time to time, his wide spread fire managed to wound an Imperial or two when they came rushing in guns blazing. However, he remained disciplined, and also let Kruger do most of the killing. He had the weapon to do so. When the question asked by the Jedi of whether to find a different path, he scoffed. Typical Jedi. He said
"Just keep firing and push forward!"

She didn't reply.

She kept the two Imperial soldiers' attention square on her. As they slowly pushed forward, every other block met by two soldiers each. It seemed the alert hadn't spread out to the compound, though if her senses were correct it was only two more blocks down. She could not Sense how many soldiers waited at that checkpoint; While Kruger had taken care of the first man, pinning him and disabling him, while the second was mown down by Miran.

They pushed ahead; the next wave approached. Nikka wheeled around to face as counterpoint guard.

They approached from behind.

"Behind!" She managed out, just before the first round of fire went off.

Kruger swore under his helmet. "kriffing imperails". The Imperials where trying to flank them. Pulling a grenade from his belt he threw it behind them. Riot dispersing gas filled the air around the imperials. With their eyes burning they where far less accurate and they had been poor shots even before the gas. Still Kruger Knew now more than ever they had to attack. "We need to keep the attack going, Miran deal with the guys behind us. We have a clear run to there compound" Praying that Joran could do his job and cover there ass Kruger rushed forward. With the route some what open Kruger was able to get close enough to the compound to throw another Riot Gas grenade at the corner leading towards the compound to slow down any more reinforcement coming from that direction. Diving for cover Kruger got ready for the final assault and unpacked the Zip from his bag.

When Joran heard the orders, he nodded and began firing, to try and pin down the enemy before retreating himself. However, by this time, Kruger decided to throw a gas grenade. Whilst Joran was at the edge of its effect area, his eyes began to water up, and he had to blink a few times before getting off shots. Fortunately, the Imperials were in the process of recovering, and so 2 went down. However, 3 more were still there, and were wildly firing. Whilst not necessarily accurate, it did force Joran into cover. The firefight went on as the 2 rushed ahead. Great, no support. Thanks lads.

She was prepared.

While both sides had been blinded with gas, she pressed onwards. The two that attempted to stride could not aim, and their shots were wide from both the front and behind. They were then shot down by Miran had stayed down; the other that had attempted to be strongarm reinforcements was forced to attempt to find cover in the nearest hangar bay.

She pressed for advantage.

She pressed forward towards the two that had tried to cover for the main compound; they would try to fire, but they also banked wide, shocked by the riot gas.

She was not affected; such things were for sighted beings. But there was a problem. Their back guard was pinned behind enemy fire, and Kruger was rushing ahead. She gritted her teeth in restrained frustration, and extinguished one of her blades to get at her blaster. She aimed three shots; one of the three-guard fell. The other two, however, were still wide-shots, and therefore dangerous.

She then turned. "Forward! None to guard the front."

She bared her teeth in a grin. "Time to take down this trash-stand."

The doors opened, with none to surprise. It was time to takeover Attahox... and there was time to buy still.

Kruger knew it was risky but so what. Rushing in he got close to the compounds outer wall, the roit gas having no effect due to Krugers suit being built for the type of war fare he was about to wage. Peering Kruger spotted the compound proper as the doors opened. Those in side where ready to launch there counter attack. Pitty the best laid plans often failed in the face of fire. Aiming the Zip at the door Kruger fired and streak of fire filled the door way with flames and screams as Kruger pushed forward stop every now and then to fire a burst of fire through random openings.

Though some what worried About Joran, Kruger was confident in his skills. He was doing a far better job than the Imperial solders screaming in side the compound proper as fire spread. "Sorry Jedi, we don't have time to do this the nice way and zip was built for pest control and extermination." The fire though hot was of a minor concern to Kruger in his protective suit of armor. Unlike standard imperial armor built to intimidate the people Krugers was built for war. "We need to find there Operation center. If they loose there head they will not be able to coordinate"

Joran continued to be fired upon, which forced him into cover. However, by now the others had probably made it. So he was going to try one last gasp effort to get out of cover, he began to blind fire. Whilst not striking any enemies, he could roughly guess the direction in which he needed to fire his rifle. He would continue this fire until the fire began to ease up, as he adjusted the aim of his rifle to pin the enemy down more effectively. When the fire stopped for a moment, he rushed out, and with all his speed, rushed down the corridor where the others had been. Fire came very quickly however, quicker than he anticipated, and was shot in the leg once. With a cry, he stuttered due to the pain, a cry loud enough probably for the others to hear. He began limping towards the room they had breached, but probably wasn't going to make it without immediate support

"I know."

Her voice was hard. She could not stop the death and carnage of the fire; sometimes, even the best of intentions had the most disastrous results. "I think it's top floor, two floors above if my sight is correct. Move on ahead, I'll catch up."

She didn't wait for an answer; he was a hardened fighter, she knew he could handle taking on this firefight at least until she could collect their injured companion. More wild fire sputtered around her, but the other two rear guards kept pressing forward, even as blind as they were. Kriff, did they ever give up? she thought with frustration.

She fired off two more shots; one hit one of the wildly firing guards in the shoulder, the other was still firing wildly, but pausing long enough to check on his companion, staggering.

She sprinted over to Miran, holstering her blaster and still keeping left guard with her saber. Now was not the time for needless courage, but support. If Kruger was in trouble, with his Zip in tow... then there would be little else she could do. Meantime, he was now aggressive defensive front point, and she was defensive rear guard. They just had to get within the burning entrance of the compound, and she could see then what she could do to help their injured companion.

Kruger nodded, he was better suited to this type of close quarter combat and many of Kruger's weapons where area of effect and indiscriminate. So best the Jedi helped Joran catch up as he pushed ahead. Walking through the corridor Kruger let fire clear any rooms to his sides as he made his way to the stairs. A burst and sweep of flame. But it was not needed. Kruger got to the stairs with out meeting any one.

Making his way up the stairs though Kruger could hear noise. Luckily the Zip did not need to see to kill. Pointing the barrel around a corner Kruger sent flames out to ignite the imperils. There screams filling the hall ways. The empire so used to brining fear to the galaxy at large so under stand the fear to day. Even if that day would be short. Popping knock gas grenade on the the second floor and closing the door leading to the stairs Kruger could now safely move up. The first floor had been cleared more or less and those in the second floor could not follow him with out walking through the gas. To make it better Kruger put a pistol shot in to the door to jam the locks Forcing it open would take time and time would mean the knock out gas would be able to act.

Smiling Kruger walked up the stairs. The occupants of the Ops Room fired down the stairs but a burst of fire forced them back. No one wanted to be burnt. Only issue was they had now locked them selfs behind a door. "Where is the Jedi and her lightsaber when you need them" Kruger could now only wait. Those in side could not escape and Kruger could not enter. Hopefully they would realize that time was on his side and give up. But if not, time was on his side and once the Jedi got up here they would be home free.
