@Marf, That's also what I had in mind, they could work together on combat missions. He could be the tactical mind if you need him to, which would make sense since he had military training, and the fact that Andro can also use the Force should make them a good team.

I, myself, prefer freeform RP'ing over planned events as well – although I like at least some overarching plot, but nothing specific.

My Jedi character, Kol Tulsi, has not been in contact with the Council for a long time due to disagreements (read character bio if you want) – he's on his own, personal mission, which involves getting to know himself (through character development).

I'm interested in this, if it could work.

Okay, yeah. This sounds a lot more like the kind of RPing I'm used to from elsewhere, meaning it could be a good way to ease myself into this site a little more.

I haven't actually finished my character bios yet, but I still have two characters who I think will suit this idea very well:

1. Rrywerr, an exiled Wookie (no, not a madclaw). Her thing is that she's a mediator and diplomat who, after one day failing spectacularly to quell an arguement between a Wookie and an offworlder, resulting in the offworlder's death, has left her homeworld in order to learn more about other cultures and species, so that she can learn to do her job more efficiently in the future. My hope is that being involved in shenanigans will giver a better understanding of how to avoid them.

2. WAC-00, a Pit Droid who gained true sapience by accident. He's gonna want to experience this thing called "life" in all its forms first and foremost while probably also having to deal with prejudice against droids and the fact that he's technically someone's wayward property.

I feel the need to thank you. I have been reading over your character's profiles which keep making me want to improve mine. But they have been helping me getting the understanding of how to describe a character better, so thank you for that. Been trying to take the bar layouts I currently have as place holders and replace them with a more descriptive layout to have a better appearance.

Now for interaction I have been thinking of dropping Val's age a little bit to add to the possibility of what could happen. Would be a great to have the possible chance for something even though she may or may not go for it. Been working hard on trying to get her profile complete.

My 'Propoganda Machine', 8L4K-E, could probably do some sort of work with Andromeda or Serebin. I'm thinking it'll probably work most with Andromeda though.

Hearts and minds, kind of like a "Faces of the Sith" documentary maybe? He could follow Andro around during those off duty hours you were talking about to make the Sith easier to relate to.

EDIT: It would be pretty free form. 8L4K-E could follow her around while she's out doing her normal thing.

How have I not seen this thread until now?! I feel ashamed of myself. Setting a scene, throwing characters at it and seeing where they take us is 95% of what I love about roleplaying. I'm one of those people that fully believes that if a character is designed well enough then I won't have to tell them where to go and what to do. They'll tell me as I'm writing them.

Minor preaching aside, I'd love to set that idea for Kytana and Andro you mentioned a while ago in stone when the new timeline comes around. I think they'd be an interesting and fun pair.

Sorry my writing is not really the best. Anyway you think my sector ranger (law enforcer) and Lola could meet? You know, have a game of cat and mouse as he tries to bring her in, because she is a criminal and all that. An see where that leads them.

An would you think my Jedi knight, could run into Andro? He is more of a healer/scholar, so I was thinking he would try to get her to know what it means to be human in a more philosophical discussion. Andro or Serebin would be good for this, seeing that Serebin would be like my guys opposite half.

In all seriousness, what I am interested in next timeline is just open-world adventuring that isn't influenced by faction-related objectives or barriers. Believe it or not, but I actually prefer when a thread evolves spontaneously rather than being planned. I think that alot of people don't actually realize that social scenarios have the potential to lead to something much more exciting than just two characters talking. I mostly just like to set beautiful, picturesque scenes and just see where things go from there.

I want to RP my two young Sith just as normal kids growing up in an outright extreme world. I want them to get into unusual situations, get lost on strange planets, explore romance, steal stuff, maybe form a ship crew, make friends with Jedi, hang out with Mandos, I could go on. They do have their own Sith-related goals, but what I'm talking about is the journey towards those goals.

I don't like organized fun or sign-up stuff, because the objective is so simple and there's no room to just go off and be as creative as you want. I also really don't like clear cut good vs. evil stories, or dark vs. light, which is another reason why the main conflict, or most PvP, doesn't really appeal to me.

The story and thread opportunities for this are boundless. I'm thinking just an odd bunch of characters with their own goals and ambitions are suddenly stuck with each other and have their lives intertwine.

Seriously this is open to ANYONE. Come on in and share your little stories, maybe we could figure out a way to have our chars' goals related.
