"It is up to those of us that are born to lead to maintain the safety of the Empire."

Wes Thul-Drast was a human Sith Acolyte and Imperial pilot during the Fires of Rebellion Era. Despite his training as a pilot, he was Force sensitive, so he decided his abilities were put to better use on the ground.

Biography

Raised by good parents from an even better bloodline, Wes rose from an upper class family. His dad was a high level Imperial Agent, and his mother from a noble family, brought from the lush farmlands and castles of Alderaan to the sprawling masses of Coruscant. Since his dad was a soldier, they lived in a pretty nice area in a moderately-sized apartment, so Wes had a pretty nice childhood.

He was an only child, and his parents tended to leave him to his own devices, his father usually too preoccupied with work or resting, and his mother always wrapped up in some show on the holonet. They did, however, pressure him to do well in school. Unsurprisingly of a Drast, Wes managed to get into flight school with outstanding qualifications, starting his military training as a teenager.

The boy was, more or less, the perfect student, although he had the habit of being a bit too arrogant and sometimes avoiding his responsibilities. Because of his natural talent and his father's prestige, his instructors let his antics slide, especially since they were harmless.

He discovered his Force sensitivity a few months before graduating from flight school, confirming his father's suspicions. He advised Wes to keep quiet and finish up his education, since he would likely be whisked off to become an Acolyte and never be able to join the military otherwise. Despite this, he chose to give up flight school and instead went to the Academy, where he not only felt much more comfortable, but also showed great prowess. Wes excelled in his Sith training and graduated with flying colors, emerging as a warrior.

Personality and traits

Chaotic Neutral: Although a soldier (and a good one at that), Wes goes after what his gut tells him to. Not one to blindly follow orders, he does do what he is told to, but only if he agrees with the command.

Arrogant: Despite his abilities, Wes can seem arrogant at times. While not prone to go on rants about his skill, he does see himself as somewhat better than those around him.

Warm core: Although some may see him as an annoying prick, Wes is a good friend, and can develop great bonds with people he gets along with. He always would help out a friend in need, even if it means endangering his wellbeing, without expecting anything in return.

Wise guy: Wes is sarcastic at times, although not usually in a mean-spirited way. He cracks jokes whenever they float through his head, much to the annoyance of those around him.

Destined for greatness: Being a Drast, Wes strives to be the best at anything he does, and is determined to climb through the ranks no matter the cost. Prestige is his goal.

Noble: Arrogance aside, Wes grew up among palaces and courtyards, with an education taught to him by private tutors and professors. He knows manners, diplomacy, and everything else someone in high society should, and they have embedded themselves into his personality as well, sometimes shining through in the strangest of ways, like helping strangers.

Powers and abilities

Ace Pilot: Despite dropping out of flight school, Wes spent the previous years learning, and ended up only missing a few months out of years of education. Thus, he is talented as a pilot, a skill he doesn't get to practice as much as he'd like.

Force adept: Experienced with the Force from training in the Academy, Wes showed great aptitude when it came to using his powers. Impressing his mentors, he quickly learned what they had to teach him.

Skilled duelist: A boy from a noble family, Wes began taking sparring lessons when he was young, far before anyone would know he was Force sensitive. Once in Sith Academy, he put his skills to use and slowly developed to be an exceptional swordsman.

Permission to make this Drast has been granted, but the profile still requires a review. @Wit @Relent

I'm not very comfortable with the tutor bit. He's a Drast, he's a part of the military, and he's trying to get secret Force training. There is no way that info is not getting leaked, specially because you have him get that tutoring while he's on active duty. Someone will notice and report on it and he's whisked off to the academy. If he was at his father's home, locked away with no interactions with other Sith who might notice his growing powers then the secret tutor thing could work, but while on active duty someone will notice him getting secret lessons and he's sure to run into some Sith. Just seems too convenient. So either have him keep his FS a complete secret and have no training or he goes to the academy like all other Sith. And if you pick the former then the lightsaber needs to go.

I was just thinking about that as well. I changed the bio around and tweaked some skills and personality traits to reflect the changes.
