To get on Imperial radar, never mind a Cipher's radar, as a threat to the Empire on Murkhana was quite the feat. The planet was never known for its love of the Empire, but this is where Ten was. The mission was simple, infiltrate, eliminate, exfiltrate. The target was a local named Chu Gaanic, involved with local crime and rebellion.

Imperial Intelligence had been handling surveillance on their own, infiltration of the target's residence was the obvious approach for a clean kill, a seventh story apartment, one block across from Ten's operation centre in a hotel suite. Approaching in uniform would alert the target and send them running, instead Ten decided to obtain a civilian disguise as a building inspector for the city, clear out an apartment below Gaanic's and head up the fire escape, if the timing was right, Ten would arrive before Gaanic, hide up in his room and catch him none the wiser.

As Ten pulled up his gloves, never one to forget gloves, always picky about the fit, Ten left the hotel, he had a building to inspect and some work to be done. A pistol concealed on his hip, and a dagger in his boot.

An open weapon crate filled with thermal detonators was staring at Davik as two of Hutt Cartel Scion's carried another crate into the apartment, this one he knew to be filled with pistols. "Whatever do these guys want with so much firepower?" Davik asked out loud, but to no one in particular. The latter part wasn't quite clear to one of the scions who straightened his back after placing the crate down and turned to the "Iron Kowak". "Who knows? As long as they pay the cartel, right?" the glare Davik gave this weequay would be able to kill lesser beings. Well, not really.. there was no one 'less' than these scions for they worked for a cartel smuggler and arms dealer. They worked for Davik 'Iron Kowak' Lorso.

Davik had been able to rent the apartment below one of the clients, someone called Chu Chaanic. Tonight they'd sell most of the detonators to him, for whatever reason, and then all they needed to do was sell the rest off to another smalltime gang leader and Davik could return to his beloved Catscratch and get the kriff out of here.

Murkhana. Rebellion certainly took you to interesting corners of the galaxy. Of course, they didn't tend to be very pleasant corners. There weren't too many trips to Canto Bight or to the beaches of Spira when one was fighting empires.

Of course, Murkhana had once been a beautiful tourist destination before war had ruined it and the atmosphere. Although the atmo and radiation levels were classified as "tolerable", Telly still wore an enviro filter just in case, as did the handful of his rebels that he'd elected to bring along with him, not deeming it fit to bring his whole force to try and recruit the Gran rebel, Gaanic.

As it was, the trip had been a mixed bag. Hoping to merge his cell with Gaanic's, the old Pau'an had found the Murkhana native to be a cantankerous thug; more fond of brutality and stupid shows of force rather than strategic strikes. He had also proved incredibly stubborn and refused the idea of merging their two cells. Telly has managed to convince a handful of his less radical members to join him and had purchased some smuggled explosives and weapons from Gaanic (both of which were sorely needed by Telly's cell) so the trip hadn't been a complete waste.

That might answer Davik's question about what Gaanic needed with so much firepower - not all of it was for him. Telly, an old soldier, considered himself a class above criminals but he had to admit, the smuggler, Lorso seemed competent. One would have to be to skip this many explosives through customs.

"If you're ever looking for more work like this, I'd love to get your contact information, my good chap. You seem a capable sort". Telly told the smuggler.

One of the clients seemed awfully pleased with Davik's work, which was understandle, ofcouse. "Sure thing," Davik grinned at the Pau'an as he tossed the man a small datashard. "Iron Kowak's contact info and prices are on there," he said in a way that betrayed he was rather pleased with himself. Since he had become the "Iron Kowak" all those years ago, both to escape the price on his head in ISC space and to protect his fellow bandmembers of the "Furry Fantastics" back on New Alderaan, business had been good due to his partnership with the now Supreme Mogul of the Hutt Cartel.

These days it seemed the last remaining living kidnapper of Emryc Thorne lived pretty much below the radar. He had worked for the Zaa Fenn Crime Family, the Crymorah Syndicate, the Hutt cartel and countless other smalltime gangsters and whatnot as a smuggler of goods. Who knew that being a smalltime arms dealer working for the cartel under the 'Iron Kowak' pseudonym would get him in the least danger.
