My favorite song from my favorite hip hop artist of all time. He died today, 17 years ago. Rest in Peace Christopher Wallace, AKA The Notorious B.I.G./Biggie Smalls.
Hm, definitely been spinning that new Wye Oak song quite a bit. Been diving into indie-pop with Frankie Cosmos and loving it. I also just discovered Yamantaka // Sonic Titan and this ****ing glorious piece of music:
This is a classic where I grew up, best use of horns in any hip hop song I've ever heard. The storytelling aspect of OutKast has always been my favorite as well. Everything about this song resonates "cool" to me.
alexis krauss...:CDumb i've only listened to this album once so far, thought it'd like it more. other albums got my attention for the time being.
skelethon was a great album! 'troubled waters' from music for earth worms is prolly my fave aes song. none shall pass too, obviously.
anyway, back to my middle school days for a while. anthony green is my only mancrush, mind y'all. anyway, this song in particular really changed my taste in music. i pretty much was open to listen to anything that wasn't rap or led zeppelin after this.
