I haven't seen anyone use them. I would take it out.

I guess its to try to hope your character has some kind of reasonable spending limit built in.

It doesn't really serve a point- I usually just ignore it or omit it.

They're not there as an actual currency. Like, you don't have to RP going to a shop and spending x amount of credits. Rather, it sets a reasonable limit as to what that character can buy; for example, if you're a bounty hunter and your wallet has four thousand credits in it, you shouldn't be roleplaying a thread in which you buy four ships.

It may seem like a small thing, but I've seen a lot of roleplays where people suddenly whip out a ridiculously expensive object and wave it off as their character having 'secret funds'.

I think there should be storefronts in this RP where you can buy better ships and guns... Surely it wouldn't be that hard for an admin to make to make a new forum where merchant characters to open store fronts? It would make the credits section have an actual point and would make the whole rp alot more involving. Does anyone agree with me?

It does not really matter. Most characters that I see whip out a huge amount of credits actually live a lucrative life style. Often working for shadowy organizations that pay beyond the regular.

Your time here is still fairly young. Give it long enough and you'll see it happen.

Only person Ive really seen use it was keanu, and its because he started a character with 1,000,000+ credits.
