After spending a significant amount of time and effort cleaning up the messy laboratory that she had kind of found, slash inherited, Cyutadakyr was not one to let a good thing go to waste. There were several rows of tables and devices and plenty of storage, but the building had been largely inactive for some time. Much work would be required before it would be suitably meeting her needs, but for today it would suffice.

To say she had invited a doctor was to put it kindly, he wasn't permitted to know where or how he had arrived, but he was instructed to bring all of his usual equipments and tools. The pureblood stood expectantly waiting near the doors of the lift wearing a white robe, waiting for the Kaminoan to arrive. Once he had gotten into the lift, he would be permitted to remove the hood from his head and enter the room below.

With a charming smile, Cyu welcomed the doctor in. "Our presence on the planet is masked for the time being, hence the secrecy." She'd direct him to take a look around the small room, it was clearly just one of several rooms linked together. "I'd like to know more about your work, and what you hope to achieve." She had plans of her own, and was eager to see if they could find some mutual ground.

Tol opened his eyes and couldn't believe what he was looking at. The first room was a small but had useful equipment contained... at least for a secretary... there were desks and some computers yet, no medical or biological equipment in sight...
"Well, that was certainly an unexpected introduction... I brought some of my equipment, yet some of it was too big to be transported right now... so let's see what this facility has to offer", he said while going into the other rooms.
The other rooms were a lot bigger than the first one. Tol tried to imagine on how this rooms could turn into a medical facility and got excited with each door he opened.
When he walked through the facility, he was already taking notes on what he would need in order to make this a working, medical facility...
So what he really needed was first a laboratory to examine blood samples and extract DNA in order to clone and treat illnesses properly. Then he would need an operating room with an operating table, with medical equipment and also some surgery equipment where examinations and surgeries could take place effectively. Additionally he would need a room for 2 big Bacta-Tanks, so he could heal patients with very complicated trauma or illnesses. Also he would need an infirmary with 4 beds and 2 medical droids, who could provide day to day care to the patients.
At the very last he would also need, a room with 6 big cloning incubators, so he could clone species up to a height of a adult kaminoan with a monitor on each of the incubators to overview the vital signs...
Tol turns around, after going through the rooms quietly without saying a word to Cyutadakyr and says: "So my speciality is within creating & preserving life... I am specialized in trauma care, so as long as it's not some rare illness im confronted, I will be able to help you. I also can clone a person in order to harvest organs and transplant them into the patient, yet with the absolute certainty, that the clone will die. I want to research and heal. I believe that we can only achieve absolute perfection if we are ready to make sacrifices... So if you don't mind this and value my work more then some pathetic ethical code, I can create a lot of things, the sith order might find useful."
With a cunning grin and big eyes, he looked down on @Cyutadakyr, he showed his datapad with the notes he made for the other rooms and said: "If you can provide me with this equipment, I will be to your service... so what do you say?"

The pureblood strolled through the facilities in tow, watching and silently judging this doctor as he likewise did the same for the facility. It wasn't up to standard nor was it what he probably had in mind, but Cyu was a woman that operated within her means. And going bigger was only going to attract too much attention far too soon.

She stood there listening as he spoke, before glossing over the notes that he had prepared. Nodding, it was her turn to speak. "I will arrange this for you, but it will take forty-eight hours." Since rediscovering the facility, Cyu had also uncovered some interesting data and information on her own, including the means and method of how the Sith had acquired the building in the first place. With some passive prodding of the right people, she had begun to slide herself into position to formally inherit these officially.

This also meant that these contacts could be useful in procurement, although as she considered earlier, they would need to start small and work their way up. In time and with plenty of effort, the doctor might have an entire planet at his beck and call for whatever horrors he sought to bring into the galaxy.

"I have no qualms about your work, you do as you wish, but there are some rules you must abide to work here." She felt they were firm but fair, considering the circumstances. "No live subjects except for what I deliver you, no revealing yourself to the planet above and lastly..." she lingered on the end of the sentence for a moment, eliciting a sharp smile. "Remember that nobody knows you're here but me.." the threat was apparent enough that she wouldn't have to elaborate further, she hoped. Further rules would be redundant, in any case.

But Cyu wasn't all just about fun and games, she did in fact have a work question for the doc as she waved him over to settle himself in. "Say I had some frozen tissue from an arm, what could you do with it? Assuming it's been frozen for a few years now?"

What's up, Doc?

...The issue with the tissue...

----------------------------------------

Tol nodded when he heard about the precautions and the restrictions about his work. He didnt mind those restrictions since he became kind of a loner throughout the years on Kamino and was either in the lab or in the OR...

The restrictions itself had an "under the surface" dangerous touch... which made him even more excited about what he will be able to research and create...

With the inviting gesture of Cyutadakyr to settle, he walked around and started the computer systems, where he would set up the programms and research software for the next 48 hours... As he walked to the computer systems, he got interrupted by Cyutadakyr's question about the tissue on what he could do with it... turning around with a smile. With a curious glow in his eyes he said:

"It depends on what your goal with that arm is... I could extract he DNA and make a clone... this clone could be used for anything, whatever is in your liking. I could extract some parts of the DNA and combine it with an other, to make a new kind of species. I could also try to revitalise the tissue but there is a very high chance, that this tissue will die because it was too long exposed to cold and the cold may have damaged the cells within it. Revitalising is very complicated procedure its easier to clone the tissue and to implant it on the patient... if thats what you want of course... but you can take your time to make up your mind about this..."

Tol turned around and looked at the computer systems and started them one by one... He also was able to start some servers, where he installed and setup all the research related programms... like struck by a lightning he suddenly turned around and asked with a kind smile:

"Oh one more thing, there is still one empty room left, which would be large enough for me to sleep & live in... would you please be able to get me a fitting bed, a little cooking area and also a desk with a comfortable work-setup? I would like to do the research protocol at night time in a more comfortable area if you dont mind..."

----------------------------------------
...From modest beginnings...

The pureblood continued to listen as the doctor spoke, nodding and understanding to some degree what he was speaking on. "I'll let you know what I decide.." her voice hiding its emotion. Whether she would deliver him this arm or not was still something she had to decide. In the meantime, she would also arrange for the living arrangements that he had asked for.

..

Forty-eight hours passed by and the last of the items that he had requested were being installed, but Tol would have noticed that he had been left alone during this period. Returning at last, Cyu found him buried in his work with a tempting smile upon her face and a suspiciously empty belt. It wasn't worth putting in all this effort if the man wasn't worth his salt, and therefore the logical answer would be to test both his skill and whether he'd be true to his word.

Knocking on the door to get his attention, she softly spoke. "Hey doc, there's been a stabbing. Can you work your magic?" If he went looking, they would find a human adult male curled over on his side in the operating room, clutching his stomach. The patient was clearly sobbing and therefore alive, but the rest she left up to him for discovery.

Her part was to sit and watch, offering help if required, although she would need guidance for anything too complex.

What's Up, Doc?

The heat is on...

----------------------------------------

Tol sat at his desk, looking around his private room and grinning over the accomplishments he had made today. He was finally done with setting up the computers, filling up the medical equipment in the OR and setting up the medical droids and adding onto them a restraining bolt, to have an emergency off switch if needed...

So Tol started with the V-Log and pretty much said everything to a detail what happened today and also thanking Cyutadakyr for the equipment he got... *knock knock* He got interrupted and Cyutadakyr mentioned softly that there was a stabbing and asked if Tol would be able to "work his magic." Kind of pissed, since it wasn't any kind of magic, but pure skill and craftmanship, he ended the V-Log immediately, and rushed out of the private room, making his way around Cyutadakyr who was standing a bit in his way and yelled: "MEDICAL-DROID-1 IMMEDIATELY IN THE OR, MEDICAL-DROID-2 STAND BY!"

The medical droid-1 followed suit and rushed out of the infirmary quickly, while the medical-droid 2 was on standby in the infirmary. As soon as he entered the OR he saw a human adult male, who was curled over on his left side, clutching his stomach...

As Tol made his way around the table, looking in the eyes of the human adult, he saw that he was pale, clammy and seeing his facial expression in a lot of pain. The man opened his eyes, when Tol placed his hand on the right arm to introduce himself: "Hello, my name is Dr. Menrilo, I am a trauma surgeon and will help you out today." The patient was looking up and became slowly more and more sleepy, which was a big concern for Menrilo... He looked at the abdomen an noticed an extensive cut crossing the whole abdomen. "Start the monitoring...", he said to the medical droid and looking at the vital signs, he had to hurry...

"EMERGENCY-SURGERY! MEDICAL-DROID-1, START 1 UNIT OF HUMAN pRBC IMMEDIATELY AND PLACE PATIENT UNDER ANESTHESIA. MEDICAL-DROID-2 COME INTO THE OR, START THE BIOSCAN.", he said in a very stressful way into the OR-Comlink.

He looked up and saw Cyutadakyr sitting at the other side of the room, he didn't waste much time looking at her, turned around and started washing himself and preparing himself for the surgery, while the medical droid, started the anesthesia and securing the airway with a tube, which got connected to a breathing machine...

The Bloodpressure was still dropping... "Medical-Droid-1 start noradrenaline", he said... It looked like he was loosing the patient... but he had to keep a cool. The medical-droid-2 finished the bioscan and announced the results: "Extensive damage to the stomach with a partial damage to the descending aorta. Patient has a 50% chance of survival..." "ok, we will perform a partial gastric resection and prepare vascular access on the arteria femoralis & stent grafts for the descending aorta.", he said while putting on the sterile clothing.

The 2 medical droids got to the work... The medical droid 1 was preparing the tables and the seating, while the medical droid 2 was quickly placing the sterile equipment onto the prepared tables...

Tol looked over to Cyutadakyr and said pretty harshly: "Just stay over there, don't touch anything... unless you want the patient to die." He got back, ignoring any reaction and opened the abdomen with a midline laparotomy. Looking at the abdomen, he didn't like what he saw... "Retractor.", he said to the medical-droid-2 who was standing at the operating table, asking for the retractor in order to see more of the patients insides.
"more light please and anti-trendelenburg." he said while looking at the stomach and the descending aorta thinking about where to start first. The table now tilted with the feet down to the floor, but the patient was secured, so he couldn't slip.

The Bloodpressure still wasn't good and still dropping... "2 Units human pRBC and 1 unit of FFP.", he said while looking on the blood-sea which has evolved in the abdomen. He applied suction and could see, that the aorta was leaking quite a bit, while the stomach was in a terrible condition, spreading the previously eaten food between the organs. Which dropped the probability of the survival of the patient to 30%.

The aorta:
The decision was pretty quickly made, he started with the descending aorta. He started to prepare the stent grafts for implantation, and placed the grafts into the vascular access. With the help of a bioscan-ray he was able to place the grafts inside the descending aorta and placing them correctly. The bleeding stopped. The vital signs were slowly stabilizing, yet the patient was far from out of danger. He carefully stitched up the outside of the aorta and applying bacta spray onto it. The suture would be dissolving in few minutes and the rest of the bacta spray would heal this up too...

The stomach:
For the Stomach was only one solution left, partial gastric resection, which meant, that a part of the stomach has to be removed, due to the complexity of the damage. "Scapel, and Suction.", he said. He was now suctioning all the unwanted material out of the abdomen and cut away about 2/3 of the stomach. The stomach now looked like a part of the small bowel. Anyway, that is what he could only do for him. Anything other would get the patient killed. This patient needed to get into the bacta-tank ASAP. He stitched up the rest of the stomach, washed out the abdomen with anti-septic-liquid and applied the bacta-spray to the sutures.

Looking back down to the aorta, it was completely healed off and the stents could be removed after the bacta-tank...

He closed up the abdomen pretty quick, sutured the initial cut on the abdomen and ordered the medical-droid-2 to prepare the bacta-tank-1 and the medical-droid-1 to get the patient ready for transfer. Getting a modern stretch, the patient was moved over, while the anesthesia was lowered to a level, where the patient wouldn't feel any pain, yet the reflexes were there so he wouldn't need any tube to keep the airway secure...

Tol put down his OR-clothing and traveled with the medical-droid-1 to the bacta tank... The patient was slowly lifted into the bacta-tank and the breathing device was applied to his face... The patient seemed to stabilize...

Cyutadakyr would be lying if she tried to claim that she wasn't excited to see the doctor in action, even if he simply refused any help she might offer. Far too often had she only seen the trauma created, often first hand, and now watching this? It was like opening a box of a long awaited package.

The pureblood watched on with a morbid fascination and couldn't look away as the doctor went through his motions, the medical bots making their best efforts to save the patient. As an untrained ear, most of the medical terminology went over her head, not that she would let that distract her from the wonderful work that was being done.

By the end of the procedure, Cyu simply smiled and stared at the man in the bacta tank for several minutes before speaking. "Impressive work, Doc." she simply stated. "How long does he need for recovery...before I can speak with him?" Clearly the first time she had spoken with the man hadn't gone well, and now with a specialist on call, she could afford to speak with such people more directly.

A few more moments would pass before Cyutadakyr gingerly glanced between the man in the tank and the doctor, where she would speak again. "Have you ever worked on my kind before?" pausing for effect, and wetting her lip for a moment before elaborating. "I want you to withdraw and store my blood, my plans require much of it and well, why not here?"

What's up, Doc?

The aftermath...

----------------------------------------

Tol was working on the protocol in the Bacta-Tank room, and saw Cyutadakyr standing near the Tank staring at it for minutes...

He kind of startled for a second, as she turned around and congratulated Tol for the achieved work...
When asked how long the recovery might take, he said: "Well, the hardest part is over... but we need some patience, the patient might wake up in about a week or so... I can't say for certain... He had luck, that he got treated rather quick, he didn't have much time left... before he would have been gone beyond any rescue... If he would wake up earlier then anticipated and you would not be here, then I can put him back to sleep until you arrive... so that he doesn't do any damage... He will be easy to wake up..."

Tol turned around and got back to the desk, when asked if Tol had worked on her kind before he thought about it for a minute and also listened to the plan she had with her blood.

He then said:

"To the first question: no, I haven't dealt with any pureblood Sith just yet, but I have read about your kind in a Xenological-Anatomy book... To the second question: withdrawing blood and storing shouldn't be the problem, the better question is for what purpose you want to use it and how much blood you are willing to give... if I withdraw too much at once, you a) would be utterly weak or b) could kill you. So i recommend multiple blood drawings over a period of time, so your body has the ability to restore the blood. Also I have to inform you, that blood is only useable for a certain amount of time, after that it turns bad and the risk of death by transfusion is nearly 100%."

He looks down at the computer, finishing the protocols while awaiting a response from Cyutadakyr...

What exactly she had in mind, she wasn't sure that she was ready to reveal that just yet. Agreeing to have some blood drawn, on semiregular schedules to ensure that she was never weakened by it, and to ensure that it would remain viable if should we require it. This was of course to be protected by lock and key, of which she would hold herself.

"Thank you doctor." She said warmly, happy thus far with the services he had provided. "I hope the facility is to your liking, but I must also ask, is there anything you would not do in the pursuit of knowledge?" The pureblood awaited his answer with intense intrigue.

Patientbloodmanagement

----------------------------------------

After talking about the bloodmanagement she had agreed on, Tol was very happy with the work he had accomplished till now... He also nodded, when asked if the facility was to his liking... Though the question she had asked to him was very interesting... if there was anything he would not do in the pursuit of knowledge...

Tol thought about it, smiled and answered: "Well, I wouldn't kill myself of course... but now seriously... it really depends on the balance between outcome and needed resources... if the outcome is not greater then the resources needed for this project, it is just wrong to do it... If you mean in an ethical context... well I killed a clone, to harvest the organs and then place it into an other person... so... I think I am one who would go far, but I wouldn't be chasing unreachable dreams... because its just a waste of time and resources... you make me quite curious regarding the plans you have in mind... anyways Ill go into my private room to make the daily vlog... If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask... and thank you..."

Tol stood up and made his way to the private room....

The unknown project...
