Can't remember if I already introduced myself, so apologies if I l'm repeating myself.

That said, hi! I'm new to (non-video game) RPGs in general, but I enjoy writing when I have the time, so hopefully that'll make up for my lack of experience.

My rp experience consists of 1 Pathfinder campaign as a player & the the one I'm currently GMing, so any advice you all have that'll help my transition to this style would be greatly appreciated.

Also, quick question for the hive mind right off the bat...

I'm told that I have to get approval for any char I want to have been trained by/as a Jedi or Sith. Who do I talk to for said approval, how should I go about writing it up (prior to), & about how long does the process generally take?

If you have Jedi or Sith elements in your backstory someone from the respective leadership teams needs to approve that aspect. You post the profile, we look it over, request any necessary changes, and the approve. Usually it happens pretty quickly.
