Trodai noted how happy Freyja was, it reminded him of such a time when he was younger. How so much had changed since. He chuckled a little at seeing her eyes widen with awe, he nodded at her thanks. Although not needed it was appreciated, and he was soon waiting patiently as she moved about the store keeping the staff busy.

As she returned, he actually approved, this was far better than before and suited the mission. He allowed a smile, and as they excited he followed suit, taking up the role he was playing, the facade. He smiled again as Freyja complimented his clothing choice and as she inquired about herself he answered genuinely "It's great. You look like a fighter, ready to smash your enemies."

As they approached the Induparan, Trodai could already smell the delicious food and spices. His heightened senses able to pick them up easily. He chuckled as Freyja asked if he even liked Induparan. He didn't really know, he hadn't tried it before, so this would be a welcome new experience.

"We don't have it back home." he said "So I will be interested to know how it is."

He checked a menu, looking at various items with no real idea what was good or not and what was spicy. Eventually he just chose at random, completely unaware it happened to be the most spicy item on the menu. He added some fries, drink and a couple of sides ranch and ketchup.

No zipping up required, good. "Thank you", at least that was settled. Now they had to stick to their roles, grab something to eat, perhaps look around some more and then make use of the day tomorrow.

They reached the restaurant soon and as he mentioned he had never triednthe cuisine before, her eyes widened a little. "Oh, yeah", right, it made sense they didn't have that back home, but knowing he really hadn't tried it anywhere else either was perhaps...somewhat concerning?

"It's definitely spicy...I'd start with something mild", she told him, a smirk tugging at her lips before she started browsing the menu. She could take spice, but she wasn't too keen on the super spicy stuff, as once your tastebuds only focused on the pain, there wasn't much enjoyment left.

She does settled on a dish that offered a 7/10 on the spicy scale, but as he went for 11 (quite literally, one dish had an 11/10!), she quirked a brow. "Uhm, you sure?", seemed like he liked the pain. One way or another, they received their meals moments later already and while she had a meaty curry, she blinked at his dish in disbelief for a moment.

"Enjoy...I guess", she was curious to see how he'd like it, but as they sat down on a table, she didn't wait long before she dug in. The perfect blend of herbs and spices and the right combination of spice levels. "Damn, the food is great for such a neighborhood", she deliberately kept her voice down, not wanting to irritate anyone. "How do you like it?".

As they waited for the food, Trodai decided to inquire a little more about Freyja. To see what her ambitions were and see what he might be able to do to help her accomplish them, just as Azar was helping him. He considered what they would do after the food, recalling the karaoke. He still had every intention of doing it.

"So what are your ambitions? Your dreams?"

He didn't even notice when the dish said 11 on a spice scale, caring only for how the meal sounded nice and tasty. Grey's tried to warn him it would be spicy so mild would be better, but he simply waved it off. "I'm sure." He said . As the food arrived it smelt delicious as he inhaled the various smells of the spices, meat and mixed herbs.

As Freyja told him to enjoy it, he had every intention to.

"You too" he said before digging in even as Freyja quicker an eyebrow. Little did she realise that a Puteblood's tastebuds were not the same as a human's or near human. While for humans, when the capsicin interacted with specific receptors inside the mouth, spices tricked their nerves into thinking their mouth was on fire. That neural illusion did not occur with Trodai species, and as such, they did not experience any of the burning sensations and enjoyed the flavours of spices unhindered.

Such was the case with him now as he was eating. He experienced every flavour as it was meant to be sampled, and was thoroughly enjoying it. He found it amusing how Freyja appeared to look at him practically stunned at how he was so casually eating something most considered too spicy. He admitted she was right, for the neighbourhood the food was great. And he loved the Indupan food, thinking he would try it more often.

"It is good food for the area,. I like do this alot, it has so much flavour. You care to try it?" he inquired, completely unaware how it would react differently to her tastebuds.

She assumed he was just making conversation, but as he suddenly asked about her dreams and aspirations, she paused for a moment. She was an acolyte. Right now she was learning how to get around by herself and what really mattered.

Azar was enabling her to pursue her own path, and she was grateful for that. Still, her learning process wasn't fully over yet and so there wasn't a fully developed answer just yet. <For now, I want to keep learning and growing. There are many questions left unanswered and I'll seek answers soon enough, but the dark side will guide me in this>.

She lowered her voice a accordingly, yet switched to Ur-Kittât in case they were overheard. The people dwelling here wouldn't be able to tell which language she was speaking, yet she observed their surroundings carefully. "What about yourself? Any current conquests apart from this here?", a playful smirk tugged at her lips again, knowing she'd get to beat up someone else in a few days.

She still wasn't convinced the 11 was the right first choice, but with a shrug, she left him to his fate. To her surprise, he didn't even flinch once, and while it made her quirk her brow even further, she wondered whether his species didn't even feel that pain. She liked it spicy, and her dish was great, but the burn that was left on her tongue was constantly palpable.

"Mine is great, too", she told him rather happily, before he asked whether she cared to try. "Uhm...well, alright", obviously, she wouldn't turn that chance down, but as she fished for a piece of meat laced with the thick, flavored sauce, she grimaced slightly. "If I die, I hope you know Azar will blame you", she couldn't help but tease, before she took the bite.

At first, there wasn't much more as her own tastebuds were relatively numb from her own dish. Then, though, a few seconds later, her eyes immediately started watering. "Oh fuck", and then came the pain. Her tongue was on fire, her throat already ablaze, and she couldn't help but cough. "It'sbad", she managed to bring forward, knowing breathing would just make it worse, so she drank, and drank, until she had the feeling she could carefully inhale.

It was a mistake, and the reward was more coughing. She was turned sideways, to the ground, but it took a few more moments until she could wipe the tears away and face him again. "That's...fucking hot".

Trodai listened as he was eating, he approved of what she said. To keep growing and learning was a great aspiration, for even himself and Azar were always learning. As with any Sith. Every success and failure was a lesson to learn from and grow. Yet he knew she would need to find aspirations beyond just this if she was to succeed in the Sith, she would need to build a power base of her own.

He spoke in Ur-kittat in return <These are excellent aspirations. We must constantly keep learning and growing, this is our way. To learn from every success or failure. Yet, do you have any beyond just this? Have you given much thought to any aspirations for the future?>

As he waited, Trodai continued to take bites and enjoy all the flavours. Even despite Freyja no doubt looking in shock as he took it without so much as sweating. As she asked about any other conquests he considered and spoke continuing in Or-Pitta as to not drew too much attention <Well I guess the main one would be to help unify my people with Azar. Our own petty hatred and need for vengeance has been our downfall for centuries, I would seek an end to the blood feuding between the houses. If our people are to survive we must evolve and change. Azar is perhaps one of the few who understands this need, he will be a great king.> he said with confidence. Truly believing it and Freyja could likely tell.

He nodded as she said her food was also good before trying a bite of his. He chuckled when she mentioned if she died, Aza r would blame him. He thought she was just being overly dramatic. It wasn't that bad to him. And then as she took a bite he noticed her eyes start to water and her skin turning more red.

He kept laughed as Freyja arms briefly flailed at her mouth and she took some water. Stating it was bad, Trodai just shrugged, he didn't think so. He had found it very enjoyable. She went on to say it was hot and so he replied, recalling now that humans were far less tolerant of some spices.

He spoke in basic again "It wasn't that bad. Although I forget your tastebuds are built different to my kind. Come I promised a karaoke didn't I? No time but the present."

Once the food was finished, the sides, fries and drink, Trodai walked with Freyja. He failed nearby karaoke bar and headed straight to it. Picking something he liked. Freyja would find to her surprise he had a great singing voice.

He smiled as he finished and spoke "Fancy a go or two? A solo and then duet perhaps?" he smirked as he winked as he made the suggestion.

Again, Trodai asked what else she was pursuing and desiring. Her eyes slightly narrowed, not in suspicions, but because she was pondering on the question.

<I might go back to my roots...an important part of my past had been taken away from me and many decisions had been made for me. My time to write my own story will begin soon enough>, she didn't purposely voice it cryptically, but she noticed that it perhaps sounded like it, yet it still captured how she meant it.

She attentively listened to what he explained and nodded softly in the end. <He will>, she confirmed with a faint smile crossing her lips. She looked up to Azar in many regards, so she wasn't just agreeing, but she was learning exactly that from him as well. <Sounds like quite a task...but determination and passions is what brings us forward>, she added a moment later, before the dish tasting experience changed the focus of their conversation.

After her near-death experience, she was at least chuckling, wiping the tears of her eyes. Trodai seemed quite unbothered, but she didn't doubt she'd remember this for a while. She wasn't necessarily embarrassed, but her cheeks turned somewhat red from the heat. "Well...our kitchen is quite spicy, but yeah, my tastebuds are human after all", and apparently, that 11 simply didn't lie.

She enthusiastically nodded as he mentioned the karaoke and soon after, they made their way towards the first bar they found. Slipping into it, Freyja's mood immediately improved as she browsed songs to sing. "Do your solo first. I need to hear what I'm working with first", she playfully remarked, already having her eyes on a few possible duets though.

The our pureblood didn't waste any time and gave quite an impressive performance of the first song and of Freyja didn't have a role to stick too, she would have ordered drinks and danced already. This way though, she remained seated and nodded her head, enjoying the song before she got up to choose their duet song.

The choice was pretty obvious, giving his style, and she happily grabbed the second mic before they began. While the majority of the visitor had already been cheering on Trodai during his first song, the whole bar was on fire as they rocked their duet. The bartender brought them two colorful longdrinks, calling it a 'welcome-drink', and having seen that he had indeed freshly prepared it, Freyja was certain it was safe to drink.

Trodai nodded as he heard the words. He knew the feeling, having had a similar history, only recently had he been given the chance to write his own story. With much before controlled by others until his own master, Caerllion and Azar opened his eyes to all the other possibilities.

<It is a great thing to think like that, I am sure you shall. I have a similar experience and am in the process of writing my own, your time will come, for you are already writing your story even now.> he said.

As Freyja agreed about Azar being a great king, he smiled. Agreeing with the sentiment, he knew it too. He also agreed about determination and passion, it was true. It appeared despite his initial misgivings Freyja was smarter than her age made her appear. As she remarked about her kitchen being quite icy he smiled, nodding again his approval and chuckled a little at her comment about human tastebuds being different. It was true. They were very different he thought.

"That is true." he said, listening before the younger human asked to listen as he begun his solo. He obliged always happy to sing it he had a chance. A passion among many. The crowd were soon enjoying the The performance, bouncing about dancing. And when Freyja joined Trodai for the duet the crowd went wild, cheering and happy at the lively turn of events improving the atmosphere.

Once it was finished, Trodai performed one more solo, slower and melodic that got the crowd swaying. Finishing, Trodai took the offered drink. He spoke "You were very good, I rather enjoyed that. Singing you could say is one of my passions. What do you enjoy? In that respect?" in inquired, curious.
