G’wenee was an interesting planet. A tropical world full of forests, some abandoned temples, amazing beaches and incredible parties. Caerllion wondered why he never visited the planet before. It was considered the second place in the list of planets to be visited, coming shortly after Zeltros.

Apparently, even Palpatine had interest in the planet. According to some old Imperial records, Darth Sidious had ordered the Empire to establish some warehouses in G’wenee. Their existence was mostly ignored, until recently. During some recent excavations outside of the capital city of Lay Pa-Sidian, the workers stumbled in one of these buildings.

The Annfyn became curious to know what the old Empire had stored on it, so he had arranged a small trip there to look at the warehouse. However, a planet like G’wenee shouldn’t be visited by a person alone. And who wasn’t better to accompany him than Ayomi, that Tiefling beauty? Their interaction during that party in Nar Shaddaa was cut short due to an incident with vomit, but now it would be different.

Caerllion would be sure to maintain them away from alcohol.

Dressed in casual clothes, Caerllion waited for their arrival in the spaceport Lay Pa-Sidian. He was a gentleman and wasn’t going to make Ayomi travel half of the city to find. The Annfyn would happily welcome them upon their arrival.

The deep green of G'wenee's forests was a relaxing sight through the windows of Ayomi's TIE Hunter as they piloted the ship out of the planet's upper atmosphere, guiding it towards the spaceport in the capital city of Lay Pa-Sidian. They couldn't help a fluttering feeling stirring in their chest as they flew closer, knowing what they were here to do. That stupidly-handsome Annfyn they'd met amidst the most chaotic party ever on Nar Shaddaa had invited them here to explore some old Imperial ruins, and as much as they hated to admit it there was a voice in the back of the Tiefling's mind that was glad to be seeing him again.

If this had just been a social call, Ayomi might have been able to talk themselves out of coming, but the prospect of searching through possible artifacts stored by the old Sith Darth Sidious was too enticing to pass up on. Normal Sith artifacts were interesting enough, but anything that one of the most powerful Sith in history wanted away from prying eyes just had to be good. The champion arrived at the spaceport after a few more minutes, touching down in the landing bay Caerllion had told them to go to in his message.

Climbing out of the top of their TIE, Ayomi saw the Annfyn waiting for them off to the side of the landing bay, dressed pretty casually; the leather jacket was a nice choice for sure. The Tiefling themselves also wore fairly casual clothes, the double-bladed lightsaber hilt they carried on their belt hidden from unwanted attention by the half-skirt they sported. Their tail twitched anxiously as they made their way over to Caer, trying to avoid focusing on his face and instead focusing more on the wall behind him so as to avoid direct eye contact with his deep onyx eyes.

"Hi Caerllion. Thanks for the invitiation." They said as they got closer, a slight stiffness to their tone.

A smile appeared on Caerllion’s lips when he saw Ayomi arrive in the spaceport. Even wearing formal clothes, the Tiefling was looking amazing. The Annfyn still couldn’t believe that they were so nervous when he complimented their appearance in the nightclub. It was impossible that they didn’t see that they were so hot.

He immediately rose from his seat and walked toward them. Caerllion noticed that Ayomi was nervous, even avoiding looking directly at him. His smile grew, they really had no idea that it made them look even more cute. The thought that perhaps he should restrain himself and avoid teasing the Tiefling crossed his mind.

But it only stayed for some seconds, because the first thing that he did when getting close to Ayomi was offer a hand to them. Once the Tiefling grabbed it, Caerllion would bring it to his lips and deliver a respectful kiss on the back.

It’s a pleasure. I’m happy that you accepted it.” he said, while letting go of their hand. “Did you travel well?” Then Caerllion would guide them toward the exit of the spaceport. He had rented a speeder bike for them to use. They would be able to travel faster through the streets this way.

Ayomi accepted Caerllion's extended hand, their face heating up as he lifted it to his lips and kissed it like they were some kind of royalty. Remember, don't overthink it. Just take it in stride, use it to your advantage. A genuine, if slightly exaggerated, smile appeared on their face as they shifted to meet the Annfyn's onyx gaze with their ruby one. They relaxed their shoulders slightly, tossing a few credits to a scrambling pit droid to refuel their ship while they were gone.

"The trip was uh... enjoyable. I hope yours was as well." Ayomi responded with lighter tone than before, following Caer through and out of the spaceport and towards a speeder bike he appeared to have waiting. Truth be told, they loved flying but it wasn't all that often that they had a reason to. "Your message only said these people had uncovered some old Imperial warehouses from Darth Sidious' empire, but do you have any idea what might be inside?"

The Tiefling had their own hopes, but they knew from experience that these kinds of places turned out to be busts more often than not. A being as powerful Sidious had held many secrets and ambitions, though not every uncharted storage locker contained ancient Sith holocrons or other advanced knowledge of the Dark Side. Yet, they couldn't help but feel optimistic. Their own archaeological explorations had turned up nothing lately, and they were due for a big score.

"So hey, Caer..." Ayomi began after he'd responded to their previous question, "you could've asked anyone to come explore this with you. Why... why me, of all people?"

Caerllion noticed that Ayomi didn’t get purple like the last time that he had greeted them. He preferred things this way. Even if he thought that their blushing was adorable, the Annfyn would hate it if the Tiefling ended up being uncomfortable all the time that they talked with each other.

I’m happy to hear that, mine was also enjoyable.” he was simply satisfied that no unforeseen event happened during it. Caerllion smiled when Ayomi asked about the warehouse, happy for having their interest. “I’m not sure, but some rumors say that it contain some historical relics from the ancient civilization that lived in G’wenee, besides some other stuff that Palpatine stored here.

My interest in it is because there are legends that this ancient civilization had some knowledge of the Force. If Palpatine had the trouble to collect their stuff, then it can be useful for the Sith.” he doubted that the old Emperor would have simply stored pieces of art in a warehouse if there was no usefulness on it.

The Annfyn stopped abruptly when he heard Ayomi’s next question. He slowly turned to look at them, black looking straight at red. “Why did I invite you? Well, I liked our time together at that party, even if it was very short. I thought that this could also be an opportunity for us to continue our conversation, while also doing something that would help the Order.” Caerllion smiled at them, before turning to walk outside of the spaceport.

A speeder bike was waiting for them here. A basic model, which would not attract attention to them. “Do you want to pilot it?” he asked, while offering them the keys.

Even though neither of them had any idea what was in these warehouses, it was that exact thought that was so exciting. There was nothing like the thrill of discovering something, whether new or long forgotten. The idea of sharing that experience with Caer... no, it's no different than normal. They were here to help the pointy-eared prince and to satisfy their own curiosity; nothing more, nothing less. It certainly had nothing to do with his stupid smile, or the way the dark curls of hair framed his face, or how he...

Ayomi's thoughts were pulled back to the present when Caerllion met their gaze, explaining that he wanted to continue their conversation from Nar Shaddaa. They smiled softly, the purple of a blush appearing on their cheeks as he did. The reaction, one initially of embarrassment and social anxiety, was becoming more and more familiar as one of genuine happiness. People like Karys teased, but Caer seemed to really care. Not very Sith of him, but it made the Tiefling feel... good.

"I umm... I'm flattered, Caer. I enjoyed our conversations too, for what it's worth." Ayomi responded as the two approached Caer's speeder bike. Upon his offering of the keys, The Tiefling eagerly snatched them from his hand and took their seat in front of the bike, waiting for the Annfyn to climb on behind them. "I hope you don't mind if I go fast." they told him, starting the engine before setting off heading out of the city. There was a certain freedom in the speed, feeling the wind rushing against their face and rustling the hair in between their horns.

Caerllion smiled when he saw Ayomi blush, immediately moving his right hand to brush his fingers against their purple cheeks. He did it only for a brief moment, not wanting to make the Tiefling become too nervous. However, it was enough for him to feel their warmth. The Annfyn had been thinking about this feeling since he had touched their cheek in Nar Shaddaa.

He was starting to like it.

Like it a lot.

I’m happy that you liked it, too. For me, our conversation was the highlight of that party.” taking in consideration that the rest of the night he was fighting in the middle of shit, being punched, paying for new clothes, having a nostalgia session and being ignored, even if the conversation wasn’t interesting, it would have been still the best part of his night.

The Annfyn watched the Tiefling pick the keys and take the front seat. A part of him hoped that they weren’t a maniac for speed, but he was nearly sure that it was going to be the case. “I don’t mind.” he said, while walking to the speeder bike. Then, Caerllion positioned himself behind Ayomi, leaning and wrapping his arms around their waist. Now their bodies were close to each other, with his chest against their back,

I hope that you don’t mind that too.” he whispered in their ear. Since he was sure that they were going to be a speed demon, Caerllion would make the possible experience of near death interesting. "The warehouse is outside of the city."

Ayomi would have liked nothing more than to dismiss Caerllion's touch, to be ignorant to what it meant or even to slap it away. It's what they should have done. Yet that fluttering feeling in their gut, the feeling of longing for more when the Annfyn's hand moved away, the joy it brought; It felt right, it felt good, but every logical part of the Tiefling's brain was screaming that it was wrong. They needed no attachments, no weaknesses, nothing that would distract them from their goals as a Sith. The fact remained that they were enjoying it though.

The feeling returned with Caerllion's arms wrapping around Ayomi's waist to hold on as they sped away on the speeder, and there was something else about just being so close. "No, I uhh... I don't mind at all." they replied to the whisper in their ear. The Annfyn's chest on their back, the firmness of his hold on them... the Tiefling left the thoughts to the wind as they adjusted the speeder to a higher gear and flew down the streets towards the city's outskirts.

Wind buffeted their face as the pair entered the forest, speeding under the canopy and the spears of sunlight breaking through the deep green of the leaves. Ayomi took a deep breath of satisfaction, losing themselves to the sensations all around them; the speed, the smell of the forest, the heightened sense of anxiety from Caerllion behind them. Perhaps they weren't the only one with some jitters. They smiled, pushing the speed just a little bit more before the abandoned warehouse began to come into view. They dismounted from the speeder, gazing at the overgrown bunker-like structure in front of them. "Well, here we are. I hope Sidious left something good for us."

Ayomi’s positive answer made Caerllion smile, while wondering if the Tiefling was blushing. He couldn’t be blushing like them, but the Annfyn liked the sensation of their bodies being so close to each other. It was obvious that he was starting to consider them as someone special, with an attraction being present between them. However, it was still early to say how special his fellow Champion was for him.

As he had expected, Ayomi was really a speed demon. The speeder bike rushed through the streets of Lay Pa-Sidian, and he was sure that they had crossed one or two red semaphores. This prompted Caerllion to hold the Tiefling’s waist more tightly. This time, he wasn’t teasing them. He was trying to protect his own life.

Maybe a bike wasn’t the best idea.

When they finally reached the outskirts of the city, Caerllion felt conflicted between relief for the bike stopping and disappointed for letting go of Ayomi’s waist, missing their warmth already. “Hopefully there will be good things.” he said, before jumping out of the vehicle and following the Tiefling.

They were in the entrance of a forest, one of the many that filled G’wenee. “According to my sources, the warehouse is right behind these trees.” he said, while taking the trail. “They found it while excavating a mountainside. We need to be careful while approaching, there can be people working.” even if he had chosen a weekend, Caerllion wanted to be careful.

Ayomi felt an odd sensation of absence as they dismounted the speeder bike and Caerllion let go of their waist, though whether it was from how tightly he'd been holding on or from something else they couldn't tell. They couldn't understand a lot about him; why they felt both calm and embarrassed at the same time when he looked at them, why their gaze lingered on his onyx eyes and the raven-colored curls on his head, why he seemed to want to be in their presence. It was like facing a mysterious opponent utilizing completely new martial forms. What did it all mean?

The Tiefling followed Caerllion down the path towards the warehouse, their pointed ears raised slightly as they listened for anything besides the usual sounds of the forest. For now, there was nobody immediately in sight. "So... umm... you mentioned continuing our conversation from before, and I don't remember hearing much about you." Ayomi began. If there was a key to figuring out what was happening with their feelings about Caer, it was understanding who he was as a person. Purely to figure out the best way to take advantage of whatever was happening, not for any other reason. Certainly not because they wanted to get to know the Annfyn better, to learn where that gorgeous face and sleek build came from... "Where are you fr-"

Ayomi cut themselves off as they heard a voice ahead of them, followed by a group of laughs. Without hesitation they tackled Caerllion to the ground and behind a thick bush, landing heavily on top of him as the voices grew closer.

Caerllion guided Ayomi through the path in the forest. Like them, he was using his keen hearing to pay attention to his surroundings. So far, the Champion only heard the sounds of the local fauna. It seemed that his idea of visiting the place during the weekend was going to bear fruit and they were going to avoid guards.

Ayomi’s voice made Caerllion stop and immediately turn to look at them, a smile appearing at his lips. He was excited that they were being the one to start the conversation because it showed that the Tiefling was also interested. So far, he was the only one that had been invested and it made the Annfyn think that he was the only one that liked their conversation in Nar Shaddaa.

He was eager to answer the Tiefling, but the voices coming from ahead and they tackling him made it impossible. Caerllion was starting to wonder if the universe was conspiring against his efforts with Ayomi. His thoughts about this conspiracy disappeared when he saw the position that they were in the ground.

Ayomi was on top of him, in a position similar to how they ended after the fight in the nightclub. His ears twitched involuntarily, while he admired how beautiful the Tiefling was from close. However, the sound of voices made Caerllion turn his attention away from them. “I can use the Force to send them away, but we need to be near them.

Ayomi turned their head from the direction of the voices down to Caerllion, their face immediately turning a bright shade of purple upon realizing the position the two were in. Their bodies were pressed close together, one on top of the other with the Tiefling's face hovering inches away from the Annfyn's own. They stayed frozen like that for just a moment, but one that felt like it lasted forever; feeling Caerllion's hot breath on their face, as he no doubt felt their own. They came to their senses and quickly scrambled off of the other champion, crouching low behind the bush to observe where the voices were coming from.

In a clearing about 60 feet ahead, right next to the structure itself, was a trio of human workers who looked like they were getting ready to take a lunch break. Not that hard to avoid, or better yet to get the jump on. Unfortunately, there was another pair walking towards the path that the Sith had been using to get to the warehouse. It seemed like Caerllion's trick would get an opportunity to work after all. "Look's like two of them are coming this way, whatever you've got up your sleeve." they told him. Ayomi reached to put a hand on their lightsaber, but didn't take it out just yet. If Caer's tricks didn't work, a quick and painless death by lightsaber surely would.

Caerllion followed Ayomi, hiding with them behind a bush. He missed the closeness from moments ago, but now wasn’t time for him to lament it. The voices were close and its owners could jeopardize the mission that the two Sith were trying to accomplish at the moment.

From their hiding place, the Sith were able to see a group of humans. Three were having lunch at the clearing, while the other two were walking down the trail. “It’ll work from here.” he said to Ayomi, before closing his eyes and opening his hands toward the workers that were approaching them.

He reached their minds through the Force, using it to take control of their thoughts by whispering commands. They suddenly stopped, before walking back to their friends. Soon, the group started to talk about lunch. Caerllion smiled, before turning back to Ayomi. “They are under my command. I sent them back to cause a distraction, so we could get closer. I’ll do the same with the rest of them.

After this explanation, Caerllion moved to some bushes that were closer to the group. Their conversation seemed to be so interesting that they didn’t see Annfyn moving. Now he would be able to reach his mind control over the rest of the men.

Ayomi watched with interest as they felt the Force build up through and around Caerllion's outstretched hands, as if there were invisible threads of power connecting him with the oblivious workers up ahead. Impressive. They'd never quite connected with the Force in the way some of their peers back on Dromund Kaas had. They liked to think they made up for it with their skill with a lightsaber, but a true dueling master knew to find balance in their approach. This must be why they wanted to be around the Annfyn. He could be useful to them.

"That's an interesting little trick." The Tiefling whispered as the pair moved up to a bush closer to the warehouse and the workers unknowingly blocking their path. "Maybe you can, uhh... show me how to do that some time. I'm far better with a blade than the intricacies of the Force." Perhaps it was a poor judgement to present such a weakness to another Sith, someone who was effectively a rival, but it was a calculated risk. If Caerllion did help them at some point, they would only be more powerful; and Ayomi suspected he would, since he seemed so keen to spend time with them. The feeling was only mutual because he was useful. Yes, that made sense. They were drawn to him because of the power he offered, like an ancient holocron.

The workers eating lunch, now just 20 or so feet ahead, remained oblivious to the hidden Sith champions as they laughed at a joke from one of their Caerllion-controlled friends. The Tiefling couldn't fathom being so unaware, so average. How these people made their way through life, they had no idea.

"It'll be a pleasure." Caerllion smiled at Ayomi. This was only a small telepathic trick, which worked for most non-Force users. He was also excited for having the opportunity to interact more with them later. However, the Annfyn wasn’t stupid to reveal to the Tiefling all his abilities, including his knowledge about sorcery and alchemy. He could be infatuated with them, but he wasn’t madly in love to spill everything that he knew.

Perhaps he would do that if his fellow Champion had knowledge to offer in exchange. It would be a fair trade.

"When we finish here, we can practice a bit. We can even train with the lightsaber. I would love to see your prowess with it." after his Master taught him Sith magick, Caerllion had little interest in the use of weapons. His powers could cause as much damage as a blade, he only needed to have the creativity.

Once they were close enough to the group of workers, Caerllion once again used the Force to control them. They became still and in silence, while his power coiled around their minds. "It's done." the Annfyn said, while he walked out of the bush. His puppets expressed no reaction to his presence. "Let's see what Palpatine hide on this place."

Ayomi smiled back at Caerllion at his acceptance of their suggestion, though they had no allusions that they'd be learning any truly devastating techniques. For the Annfyn to do so would only be indicative of failure as a Sith, and with the rate at which some Sith seemed to be dropping lately, all of them should be on edge and looking to avoid loose ends.

"That's not a bad idea." Ayomi responded to his follow up, a grin on their face. They were always looking for a better sparring partner than their acolytes or a training droid. It would only help for Caerllion to see them more in control of a situation as well, not completely blasted drunk or relying on him to deal with the construction workers he'd just finished taking control over. The Tiefling couldn't really be mad about the results though, since the pair's entry to the warehouse was now unimpeded. They rose from their hiding place, following Caerllion past the workers with glazed-over eyes and towards the from door of the whole reason for their being here.

"Just our luck." Ayomi murmured upon seeing the automatic doors had been cleared of forest growth and other debris by the workers, just in time for the two Sith to take advantage and be the first inside. Well, if the doors worked that was. The Tiefling pressed a few buttons on the nearby control pannel to little effect, though they couldn't say they were surprised. This place had been abandoned for almost 200 years now, hidden and eroded by the vegetation all around it. There were other ways to still get in though. Ayomi unclipped their lightsaber from it's place on their belt, moving right in front of the apparently sealed doors.

"You dealt with our new friends, I'll take care of the door." they explained to Caerllion, igniting one of the lightsaber's two blades and punging it hilt-deep into the thick metal of the door. The muscles on the Tiefling's bare arms flexed as they cut their way through the door with only slight difficulty, carving out an oval-shaped hole large enough for them to fit through and kicking the spare piece through to the inside of the warehouse. "After you." Ayomi offered to Caerllion, a light tone in their voice.

Once they arrived in front of the door, the two Sith were able to see that all the rubble that had covered the door was removed. This made their mission easier, without them needing to excavate it by themselves. The only obstacle that they needed to deal with was the lock in the door.

And Ayomi was already on it. They were using their lightsaber to cut through the metal of the door. Caerllion took a moment to appreciate their bare arms, how the movements made their muscles move. The Tiefling was really fit. The Annfyn wondered how was their body below the clothes.

He shook his head, this wasn’t the moment for it.

Caerllion turned back to his puppets. They were still staring at him with a blank stare. “Stay around acting normally. If someone approaches, you’ll make them walk away by any means necessary.” he poured this command inside their minds, before turning back to the Tiefling right on time to see the door being open.

Good job!” he said, before approaching the opening. He stepped through it, being welcomed by a pit black room. Caerllion immediately activated his lightsaber, casting red light over several craters and shelves. “Now we can start to explore it.

Ayomi followed the Annfyn inside, the crimson glow of their own blade joining his own in illuminating the darkness of the room. The room they'd entered was small; too small, it seemed, from the size that the secluded warehouse appeared to be from the outside. That said, it wasn't empty. Several crates lay in neat stacks around the room, which the Tiefling moved to investigate. No doubt Caerllion would do the same.

Ayomi lifted the lid on top of a pile of three crates, their red eyes widening slightly as the shimmering of unbled kyber crystals met their gaze. Leftovers from the Jedi Purge no doubt, and if nothing else a source of crystals for acolytes to personally bleed and use in their lightsabers. The Tiefling reasoned that this couldn't be it, however, and so they checked another stack of crates to reveal a collection of herbs and vials. It looked to be ingredients for some kind of Sith sorcery, of which Sidious had been a powerful practitioner. A worthwhile trip for Caerllion at least. No doubt he would find much of the same in the crates he checked.

Yet it still felt as if there was something missing. There was something else here; Ayomi's eyes were drawn to the back of the room, where a wide basin sat empty upon an obsidian pedestal. "Do you feel that too?" They asked Caerllion, walking towards the back wall and tracing their hand along it. There was a powerful well of Dark Side energy just on the other side, but no noticeable entrance. "Perhaps it's your turn to open a door. Got any more magic tricks to get whatever goodie is on the other side here?" the Tiefling asked.

Caerllion approached the shelves and crates, noticing that they were full of items used in sorcery. From potion ingredients to ritualistic masks, the two were really lucky in entering this place before the local authorities. He was sure that it would be destroyed or sold in the black market. Perhaps even the Jedi would try to pick it and store it in some hidden vault.

A total waste.

The Annfyn approached some of the crates. While he rummaged through the stuff inside, Caerllion found a book. It seemed to an old tome, not very different from the one that his Master gave to him before she vanished. He carefully opened it, seeing that it had instructions for rituals.

Ayomi’s voice attracted his attention and he turned away from the book, deciding to read it later. “Yes. A powerful Dark presence is hidden behind this wall.” he said, while approaching the basin. Its position on the pedestal reminded the Champion of a ritual that his Master did many years ago.

I think that I know what to do.” he removed an obsidian knife from his belt and started to mutter an enchantment in ur-kittât. Then, he sliced his palm, leaving blood to fall inside the basin. Once the liquid touched the object, it erupted in blue flames. Markings in the wall at the other side became illuminated, before it started to open.

Ayomi watches curiously as Caerllion spoke his ur-Kittât incantation, letting the blood from his hand drip into the basin. They did their best to listen carefully and memorize the words; who knew when something like this could be useful again, and they were no stranger to the Sith language. With the short ritual apparently complete however, the Tiefling's attention turned back to the wall as it began to glow. Unknown symbols manifested on the wall, illuminated by a piercing red light as a crease appeared in the center and the two slides slowly began to slide open. After a long moment, the space behind the wall was finally revealed.

It was a small, cube-shaped room, with walls that seemed to emanate darkness; no doubt they were enchanted with some Sith magic to protect Sidious's prize from unwanted entry. But there, in the center of the room, is what the Sith had hoped might be there. Upon a jagged obsidian pedestal like the one holding the basin in the first room, a deep red and gold octahedron holocron hovered in the air suspended only by short arcs of crackling red lightning emanating from the obsidian.

"Bingo." Ayomi whispered, slowly approaching the object in question while their eyes and ears checked for hidden traps, finding none. "From Sidious to us, you raven-haired bastard. Great tip Caer." the Tiefling mused with unusual enthusiasm and a grin on their face. Gone was their timidness towards social interaction and the social intimidation of Caer and whatever feelings that had towards him, replaced by the thrill of discovery. Adrenaline coursed through them as they extended a blue hand and grabbed the holocron, gently removing it from the pedestal as the lightning arcs stretched and faded away, leaving the crimson glow of lightsabers and the holocron to illuminate both Sith's faces.
