He copied that last line from a book he read, hoping it was just adorably dorky enough that she’d love it. He was trying to be more romantic, but, really, it was kind of a fruitless effort. Raz responded in her own way to these kinds of things, often in either a mocking, self-deprecating, or adorably flustered sort of fashion. He could read all the poetry or novels he wanted in order to emulate the written romantic mannerisms they exhibit, but he should just stick to letting his dumb little heart say the things it was capable of saying, no matter how dumb he’d sound. What he said didn’t matter in the end because at the end of the day they had each other wrapped up in passionate embrace, and that said far more than mere words could.

Leandros smiled into her lips as she jumped up and made him carry her. ”So lazy…” he chuckled, attempting to navigate to somewhere that wasn’t where he watched three men burn. Moving around with his eyes closed and senses dulled from the kiss didn’t make it very easy, but, after some blind stumbling, he managed to reach out with one hand while supporting her with the other and touch something metallic – her speeder! This was as good a spot as any.

He leaned her against the speeder, still deep in the kiss. With most of her weight split between the speeder and him holding her up, his hands were free to roam around her body. One hand traced up her body and along the side of her head, gripping a handful of her hair while the other slid down her body and underneath her thigh. He hiked her up a little bit to make it more comfortable for the both of them, surrendering himself over to her. Even despite the things she did here today, sharing moments like this seemed to make it all fade away into nothingness. Like before, the universe dropped away and left only the two of them alone. All the stars, all the planets and the moons orbiting them, all of their people and responsibilities vanished and all that remained were Raz and Leandros together out here in some field on Mandalore.

Leandros broke the kiss first and pulled his head off to the side, kissing along her neck, sliding both of his hands over to unclasp the anonymous black armor she wore. ”Let’s not go home yet,” he whispered into her neck, kissing it again before moving back up to her lips, kissing along her jaw and cheek as he traveled.
