Which Faction?

I am planning on making a character soon and was wondering which factions are in dire need of new characters. I am looking at the main factions right now because I have mostly been focusing on indie factions. Any suggestions would help. :D

D.S.E.G. is on the rise. Jiang has some crazy epic new plan to boost it up.
Sith are on the activity increase.
Jedi/Alliance are... having trouble.

Chiss are actually doing stuff (although not that active)
Mandos... well. they suck.

Hey dude. Just saying, the Chiss barely have enough people to be considered an INDEPENDANT FACTION, let alone a main one :P.

Yeah that's definitely important for me. I'm just trying to see who needs more help and stuff and from there I'm deciding which faction interests me the most.
