"Interesting... though we should, first of all, know his motives to investigate this... I trust nobody of us two wants that we just blow his head off." the signs were quick, even though some of them like Aurek were damped by the heavy armor... and short sings like Besh were many times faster shown then others... "So, anyway... how much people, other you, are onboard?2, 3, 4-5?"
The creature, which called himself Dmivo, was something that echoed throughout WOLFs mind - there race is nothing that you would see every day on the Coruscant market... he never saw such one, however, once a man told him of a race called "Squib" farely, this Dmivo would possibly be a squib as he had the noteable distinctions he heard off.

"So... I had thing in my mind - not sure if its true, but your a Squib?Would fit you fairly..." he didn't await a much friendly response, thoug he only wanted to know if his thoughts were true.

Dmivo's yellow eyes, which were already quite big, widened considerably as he heard Jon's reply.

"Of course not! I wouldn't even imagicate doing any harmage to the boy! We just need to make sure we're safetyable. To answer your queriables, there are six of us aboard counting Jiang... oh, and seven if he brought that injured guy outship aboard. And indeed, I am a Squib and pridified by that!"

To show his pride in his race, the Squib straightened out his posture to stand at his full, miniscule height. His ears twitched a bit as his thought continued to race.

"So, uh, what do we do about the kiddo?"

His eyes fluttered open, the pain dulled but not gone. After a moment he began feeling around frantically, his mind was not quite there to speak yet, but it was obvious he wanted something that wasn't there.

Dmivo said:
"So, uh, what do we do about the kiddo?"
"Not my decision... we better wait for Jiang - hes going to decide that, however - we both could investigate him a little bit... would make more sense then standing around." WOLFs words were spoken in a dark voice - usual for him, and his pupilless eyes looked at Dmivo, the effect was rather scary and sickening... "So, what do you think Dmivo?"

WOLF stood tall, only sinking his head to see at Dmivo - however, he wondered why Jiang was so... hospital, it seemed to himself that he was acting like a nurse... aiding those who need treatment.
Little did most people know, that WOLF had another Life, a civilian Life - where he was much like Jiang... in some ways atleast.

Autumn brushed aside the blind man's words of caution...she was so close to finding the source of this...feeling now...she wasn't going to let a headache set her back.

As the door opened, she immediately felt a sensation of great unease. The lights were off...and the activation panel was shattered, she discovered. She flinched as her hands touched the broken glass, and after removing any remaining fragments in her finger, she put her finger into her mouth, sucking the blood from her latest wound.

She motioned for the blind man to remain back...despite his apparent Force sight, he'd probably get in the way more than anything. The thought brough her back to the moment, and she realized she was stumbling blindly at this point. Muttering under her breath, she lifted her veil as her eyes burst into a warming golden light, spilling out around her to illuminate her surroundings slightly. It was then she saw something move just slightly beyond her sight. She crept forward slowly soas not to startle...whatever it was any further.

He was huddled up behind a table, hugging his knees close to his chest, eyes cast downwards. One could have assumed that the child was completely harmless. One minor detail prevented that, however.

Great green flames suddenly burst out from the boy's eyes and mouth, spilling out into the air. He seemed to not even notice - in fact his eyes were completely unfocused. The flames swirled around, billowing out and surrounding the boy, and Autumn shied away from the sudden intense light. By the time her eyes had refocused, she realized just how quickly thing were going from bad to worse.

The flames warped, billowing and changing, until a bipedal form made entirely of the green flame stood between herself and the boy. The flames parted in unnatural ways, two black hollow slits almost like eyes, and a great grinning maw served as a mouth. In the back of the thing's jaw, a great ball of flame flickered. The...thing's 'eyes' narrowed as it looked on Autumn, and seemed wary for a moment.

She was petrified. She'd never seen anything like it before. She didn't even know its intentions, or how to combat it if it went agressive. Swallowing the scream building in her throat, she summoned up what bare scraps of power she could muster in readiness.

The flaming beast leapt at Autumn without warning, limbs flailing wildly with a beastial ferocity. With a shriek, she released her power, a great shimmering wall of energy appearing between them. The beast slammed into the wall, rebounding off with surprise. She took the chance to turn her head out to the doorway to scream at the blind man.

'Either get the hell out of here, get in here and help me, or find someone who will! NOW!'

The beast gave out a hideous scream, attacking once more with increased ferocity. Every time it pummelled the shield, Autumn flinched. A particularly heavy attack caused blood to spray from her nose, and she gave out a scream of agony at the continued strain. At this rate, she wouldn't last much longer.

"This is good. I didn't put you into a coma with an overdose." Jiang thought aloud, as the man's eyes shot open and he began feeling around. "Whoa there, try not to move so much. Give yourself a few seconds for your head to clear." The Kasa Horansi said in a soft but firm voice, as he planted one of his massive hands upon the man's shoulder to gently hold him down.

"My name is Jiang. Right now, you're in the medbay aboard my ship. You took a gunshot wound to the leg, I just got finished patching you up." The striped feline explained as he took a step back from the table to let the man sit up of he wanted. "You probably won't want to walk on that just yet. There's a pair of crutches just over there if you want to walk, but I'd suggest staying off the leg for the rest of the day, and maybe part of tomorrow, t..."

He was cut off when a ferocious scream echoed down the hall of his ship and into the medical bay, the sound sending chills down the Kasa Horansi's spine and causing a strip of cur on the back of his head and neck to visibly bristle. "Stay here." He ordered, as he turned and walked out of the medical bay. The scream sounded like it came from the galley, so that's where he went at a full-out run. It was fortunate that Dmivo had decided to stay in the cockpit and speak to Jiang's 'Copilot', because if the Squib had been caught in the middle of the Corridor, he would most likely have been reduced to a furry paste on the underside of Jiang's boots if the man-cat was unable to stop in time.

The massive feline arrived at the galley only seconds after leaving the Medical bay, coming to a skidding halt behind the Miralurka man. When he saw the open Galley, he was half-tempted to automatically assume that it had been the lost boy screaming in terror, which would lead to a very angry Jiang pummeling the Miralurka and then toss him and his lady friend off the ship.

However, when he saw the frightening bipedal creature composed entirely of unholy green fire that illuminated the darkened galley with a eerie green glow, it clicked in his mind that something else was in play. Especially when he saw the Tae woman trying to fight off the beast, with what he assumed was a force shield.

Jiang's bright blue eyes quickly danced over the room as he decided upon a plan of action. The woman did not look like she could fight back that monstrosity for much longer. And assuming that monstrosity was from the lost boy - really, who else could it be from? - that meant to get rid of the creature, he would have to do something to render the boy incapable of controlling the beast, even on a subconscious level.

Now, had he not had a inexplicable desire to ensure the boy's safety, his solution would have simply been to vault into the room and tear the boy's head off with his bare hands, or to produce his gun, jump onto the table, and empty a clip into him. But neither of those plans would work, and he didn't want to risk trying to knock the boy out with his bare hands. So, he had to go to plan 'D'.

Without explanation, he produced a datapad from a pouch on his belt and attached it to the frame of the galley door, and quickly typed in a short command that would activate upon a command phrase being spoken. Once initiated, the datapad would override the ship's safety systems and seal the galley's blast doors, then vent all atmosphere into the room and replace it with a carbon-dioxide heavy atmosphere that had yet to go through the ship's scrubber. The result was that the boy would live, but he would quickly pass out do to oxygen deprivation, which could be reversed. Not the best of plans, but it was all Jiang could come up with in under six seconds.

The Kasa Horansi rushed into the room and wordlessly grabbed the Tae woman, hooking both his thickly muscled arms around her waist and then jumping backwards, carrying her with him back out into the corridor, at the same time yelling. "Drop!"

Just as they sailed clear of the galley doors, a heavy durasteel blast door rammed shut with a tremendous clang, and the scream of the ship's atmosphere fans could be heard a millisecond later as they worked furiously to shunt the atmosphere out of the room and into the ship's storage tanks. The datapad's screen showed a indicator of the room's oxygen levels, which fell like a rock to 0 in seconds.

The man-cat, with the young Tae protectively clutched to his heavy frame, came to a jarring halt when he slammed into the durasteel deck plate, causing him to wince in pain. Ignoring the mild discomfort of the landing, he removed one arm from around the Tae and used it to prop himself partway up, his gaze wandering to the datapad's atmospheric indicator as the atmosphere fans reversed, pumping carbon-dioxide rich air back into the room, restoring just enough pressure to keep the boy from explosively decompressing or anything unpleasant like that.

Once he had double-checked that, he turned his attention to the Tae woman, ears perked as he focused on her with slightly worried eyes. He knew he was very strong, and he was concerned that in his haste to get her away from that... Monster, for lack of a better term, he may have inadvertently caused her pain, despite his best efforts to be gentle. "Sorry about that. Are you alright?" He asked quietly, eyes alternating from her and the blast door. While the only thing that could cut through that was a blasting charge or a lightsaber, and the heavy magnetic locks and deadbolts holding it in place would make it nigh-impossible for a force user to simply lift out of place, he didn't want to make the mistake of underestimating that boy or his powers.

"Stay Here!" the cat had ordered, but Lucius was never big on orders, the scream had alerted him, brought the awareness back into his eyes, and he fumbled only momentarily to get his pistol into his hands. He was up in a quick step, though the discomfort quickly put him to a knee, he forced himself on grabbing the crutch and heading out the door.

It was a bit disturbing that despite his size the cat was light on his feet, quick, and almost silent. With the screaming pain soaring through him it made focusing on the footpads sounds to follow his direction, it was ultimately the sound of energy pounding against energy in almost a thunderclap that lead him to the scene. just before the door dropped he caught a glimpse of the energy creature.

"What the fierfek, was that?" he exclaimed wildly pointing his blaster at the woman the cat was holding.

He knew it was the force, god how he hated the force, it'd serve them all best if he just shot her now, but it wasn't his ship, so with pistol trained he awaited some sort of response.

"So, what do you think Dmivo?"

The Squib bit his lip a bit as he thought hard about that, closing those big yellow eyes of his. His long fuzzy blue ears twitched madly. He was formulating some kind of a plan, it seemed. But then, there came a great racket of violent noise and a blood-curdling scream from the galley, the sounds so loud and startling that Dmivo jumped almost three feet in the air, ending up eye-to-eye with 'Jonathon' for just a split second. He landed, and another split second later he realized what must have happened.

"I told them to avoidify the galley! They're in horrifous danger, come Jonathon!"

With a grim look of determination set on his furry face, the diminutive alien hit the button to open the cockpit door and sprinted out, heading down the hall and toward the galley. His short legs brought him there just in time to see Jiang jumping out of the room with the veiled woman in his arms, a heavy durasteel door closing behind them.

The next thing Dmivo knew, a man with a patched-up wound on his leg entered the scene, pointing a blaster pistol at the woman. Drawing his tensor gun, the Squib trained that weapon on the woman as well.

"Didn't I tell you to stay the kriff outta there!?! I did, you bet! Don't you listen?" It wasn't often that the Squib was seen actually angry, and it was quite a sight. His little chest rose and fell in great huffing breaths, and his hands were blue-furred fists that shook slightly as they kept a death grip on that tensor gun.

As he saw the creature that emerged from the door of the galley, Remiel jumped with fright. The fear paralyzed him in such a manner that he could not respond to Autumn's fierce response. In fact, he stood there, stunned, until the Kara Horansi took charge and sealed the galley and saved the Tae from that abomination.

When he regained his composure, Remiel swore under his breath. In any other situation, he would have made a beeline for the exit and left Autumn to her fate in the hands of the not-so-happy-looking crew of the massive feline captain. However, as the Squib -Dmivosomethingorother, he said his name was- approached from the left and the crutch-using, blaster-touting man came toward them from the right, there wasn't really an option to escape. Reluctantly, Remiel accepted the fact that he had to stay on the ship. For now.

That said, if Remiel was going to remain here, he might as well ensure Autumn's safety in the meanwhile. Agitated and becoming increasingly paranoid as the last of the alcohol's effects began to wane and sleep deprivation kicked in, Remiel maneuvered as quickly as he could. Considering that he had been trained as an Alsakan soldier and never quite gave up on his physical training, he was not a slouch in any sense of the word. He had half a mind to steal the blaster from the feline skipper as he was distracted, but he figured that, at the moment, that might not be the best idea.

Instead, Remiel withdrew the vibroknife he had from inside his coat, activated it, and threw the weapon at the man with the crutch in a single swift motion. The Miraluka aimed at his wounded legs; hitting his crutch and severing the no-doubt weak wood would also work, if he dodged. Once he had thrown the weapon, Remiel spun around and kicked at the Squib, which was not difficult considering his height and the short distance between the five people in the halls, hoping to either score a successful hit to the face or force him to back up and divert his attention from Autumn. Of course, if he missed either attack, he expected the Squib or the Human, or even the feline, to beat him senseless -or maybe even kill him- but the Miraluka didn't mind all that much. The adrenaline rush that would subsequently wake him up was all worth it.

She shook violently from the fear and strain of the past few moments. Blood soaked her gown, hair and face, and she spat out another gob of blood onto the floor. Still, she had enough sense about her to realize two guns were pointed at her. She opened her mouth, as if to speak, before her eyes fell on the blind-man.

Before she could shout in protest, he had thrown a vibroblade at one of the figures pointing a gun at her - the face was unfamiliar. Before he could continue his acts of violence, however, Autumn yelled out something in an alien tongue, and her eyes flashed white for a moment. Although it would appear harmless to the others, to the blind man's Force Sight, it would be amplified twenty times, the sudden surge of force energy likely to blind or dazzle him momentarily. She hoped it would be enough to stop him.

* * *

He opened his eyes suddenly, a scream catching in his throat, and he choked. Coughing violently, he struggled to catch his breath. He was burning, so hot...his flesh was melting...no. It was quiet, like before. And dark. Nothing had changed. He wondered where everyone was. Then his eyes fell on the door - sealed closed, a blast bulkhead barred the way. It was superheated, glowing bright red, melted in a massive hole in the center...though the door had held, barely.

He looked at his hands. He wasn't burning. It was just a dream. He had been sleeping...he wondered if he had hurt anyone this time. He hoped he hadn't killed the man-cat and the furry one. They had been nice to him. Noone was ever nice to him.

"Dmivo, wounded guy, please put the guns away. This girl's been through enough alrea..." Jiang began, but was cut off when the Miralurka chucked a Vibroblade at the wounded man, then spun around and lashed out at Dmivo with a low kick. Jiang was almost - almost! - willing to avoid beating the man's face in for attacking the injured man. But attacking Dmivo was crossing a line. The Horansi picked the Tae woman off him as though she were a toy and then placed her alongside him, then bolted to his feet, both within seconds. He bellowed a single word, "Stop!", at the man, but his anger caused what was intended to be a shout to emerge as a furious, near- feral roar that echoed off the walls and created quite the racket inside the crowded corridor.

Rather than get physical - despite the nigh-overwhelming temptation to unsheathe his claws and unleash hell on the man who had kicked at Dmivo - he roared at the Miralurka again, this time fully discernible words carried on his furious voice. "Knock it off, or I swear to the Gods, I will rip your head off and shove it so far up your ass your own mother won't recognize you!" He snarled, producing his sidearm and leveling it at the man, quite ready to empty a clip into him should he try to fight.

He had dropped the crutch, so that he could swing on his good leg out of the way of the knife, which in turn ripped through the wood as it was falling. His intention had been to manage to stay up right and keep the weapon trained, but shortly after his little spin, as soon as he put his bad leg down he stumbled forward falling against the wall of the corridor. His pistol fell from his grip, leaving him now without a weapon, and he cursed aloud.

"E Chu Ta, Sithspawn!!!"
he blared out at the Miraluka, his hand groping the ground around him for the pistol, he had every intention on shooting this one as soon as he had a weapon again.

Remiel spat as the light from Autumn's invocation incapacitated him for a brief moment, causing him to miss the tiny Squib entirely. Instead, his foot hit the metallic walls nearbyand he cursed under his breath; his foot stung quite a bit due to the fact that his fashionable boots provided little protection. He turned his attention to the skipper, and then to the wounded man, acknowledging both of their complaints. In retrospect, it probably wasn't the best idea - in fact, he knew it wasn't - to attack either of the two crewmates. Oh well.

The Miraluka wanted oh so very much to snap back at the feline who was threatening him and making snide remarks, attempt to jab at his throat and incapacitate him, and then render him a useless rug in his otherwise dull apartment. Sadly, Remiel found that he did not have the courage nor the eagerness to die to challenge the giant captain, so he muttered something indiscernible under his breath instead.

Walking toward the man with the wounded leg, who was now on the ground and scrambling for his weapon, Remiel performed a light hop over the man and his damage crutch and grabbed the knife he had thrown, returning it to its place within his coat. He acted quickly so none of the crew could fire in self-defense (fearing that he would use the weapon again) or or attempt to hinder him. The Miraluka continued walking away from the four other individuals, not wanting to cause any sort of ruckus. He had done all he needed to here.

"I have nothing to say to any of you, except you. The injured guy. I'd be careful speaking the language of the Hutts on Coruscant. A Coruscant security agent could find out and then... people could get the... wrong idea," he mused curtly. Once he had said all he needed to say, he headed for the exit of the ship.

Dmivo’s eyes widened and he squeaked loudly as he saw the strange man with the hollow eyes throwing a knife at the one Jiang had fixed up, and then aiming a kick at the Squib. In an attempt to frighten this human out of any further attacks, Dmivo pointed his tensor gun at the roof and squeezed the trigger.

BOOM.

The high-tech weapon fired a burst of compressed tractor energy, the invisible but very loud force of that energy disrupting the cells of the ceiling wherever it made contact. The shape and colour of the ceiling’s metal tiles were warped, but no real damage was done. Dmivo had closed his eyes when he fired the tensor gun, and as he opened them again he found that something else had thrown the man off. His kick had missed somehow, and he had hurt his foot by kicking the wall. The Squib snickered with amusement, still pointing his tensor gun at the woman Jiang was holding without even realizing that she was the one who had helped him. He didn’t lower the weapon and return it to its holster until he was told to do so by Jiang.

No words came to Lucius, he had simply found his pistol aimed in the general direction of the man traveling away, and began letting shots go, unfortunately it appeared the man had crossed a corner or something as he fired his first shot.

He left nothing other than blaster scoring on a nearby wall, as the gun ran out of energy and Lucius sat there huffing in anger and pain.

She ignored the blind man's departure, not on purpose, but out of lack of ability to cope. Autumn looked into nothingness, the events of the past few moments shocking her system completely. Her lips moved, forming silent words, and two fingers on her right hand rubbed at each other. The faint sensation of her nail scratching her finger helped her cope, and she began blinking again, though she seemed still shocked by it all. She spat out a little more blood, then blinked once more, turning her head towards the blast door, tilting it slightly, as if curious.

'That...green thing...whatever it was...was that what you were warning us against? Because I...I, well...think it's gone...'

* * *

He walked to the door, a little closer. It was dark in here...dark and uncomfortably warm. He didn't like too much warmth. He was so used to being cold. He tried looking for an open button, but there wasn't one. The walls closed in on him, and his knees buckled. He was trapped. Alone, he would die in here. He deserved it. He had killed the furry one and the man-cat. He just knew it. He always killed people when he was like this.

He was scared of dying. But...he was also scared of living. It hurt too much. It hurt him, hurt everyone else. For a nobody, a useless waste of space, a leech on civilisation...at least, that's what everyone told him he was. Unless he was sleepy. Then the screamed and begged for mercy. Well, he guessed they would. They only died while he was sleeping...

He curled up into a ball on the floor, whispering to himself softly. Here in this chamber, he would die slowly. It was the least he deserved.

Much like Autumn, Jiang ignored the man's departure. However, for him, ignoring the man was very much so intentional. He didn't want him on his ship; he'd launched an unprovoked attack against an injured man and Dmivo. Well, not entirely unprovoked. The man had likely struck out in defense of the woman Jiang had been holding in his arms when Dmivo and Limpy showed up, but even knowing that did little to temper the Kasa Horansi's anger.

Instead, he tucked away his anger to be unleashed upon a punching bag in his ship's rudimentary gym - which was tucked away in the habitat module he had attached to the vessel - and holstered his sidearm as he knelt down alongside the blood-covered woman, who had yet to get up, it seemed. "Dmivo, please, put the gun away. She's not a threat. Same for you, Limpy. All guns back in their holsters, please." Jiang asked, sparing the squib a few moments of a glance before returning his attention to the woman.

"Not exactly. But we were afraid that the boy could lose control of his abilities again, causing something like this. I think what you just saw was an unchecked manifestation of raw Force potential. A hell of a lot of raw potential. Though from how you were holding that... Thing off, I'm guessing you already know what the Force is." The feline answered her query, as he ever so gently placed one of those titanic clawed paws of his at her shoulders to help steady her, and to help her back to her feet should she want to stand. While he had every right to be furious with her and the fellow who just left for violating his and Dmivo's orders by poking their noses where they didn't belong, the man-cat couldn't bring himself to be harsh or unkind to her, considering how badly shaken she was.

He turned his attention to the door for a moment and let a silent sigh slip past his lips as he realized that he was going to have to do something with the kid. He couldn't keep him; he couldn't help him by himself. But there was someone nearby - technically, a great many someones - who could help him. "His force potential is why I'm going to take him to the Jedi Temple here on Coruscant as soon as possible. If anyone can take care of him and teach him to control his gift, it's the Jedi Order." The Kasa Horansi added, eyes locked on the door for several seconds before the gaze of the bright blue eyes returned to the young woman. "But first, I want to know how you're doing, miss. To be totally blunt, you don't look like you're doing very well. Do you need medical help, or are you going to be OK?"

She grunted with pain quietly as she took to her feet shakily, wincing at the pain coursing through her body. One hand went to the wall nearby to steady herself, and she paused for a moment to regather her composure.

'It's...nothing I'm not used to. I've heard of your Force...and I suppose I am trained in it somewhat, although...it's kind of flawed, as you can see.' She winced again as a flash of pain filled her mind, and she coughed violently, though she seemed to be recovering somewhat.

'I...I am sorry for going against your wishes. There is something about that boy...there's something there inside his image that shouldn't be there.'

She paused for a moment, then shook her head, 'I'm sorry, I'm not making much sense at all. I've got a lot to process...um...you mentioned the Jedi? Do they use this...Force of yours? And...well, this may seem a bit odd, but...do they wield swords of fire and light?'

Autumn bit her lower lip. She seemed too eager, too curious. The man-cat wasn't an idiot. He'd sense something wrong immediately. Silently, she screamed at herself for being so foolish.

“If you say so, buddy-buddy…” Dmivo said quietly, nodding to Jiang and holstering his tensor gun, though still didn't trust the strange woman. He didn't understand her motives and her interest in the young human, and it was unsettling - he had found himself getting a bit protective of the boy after their conversation in the galley, though at the same time he greatly feared the boy's uncontrollable power. He stuck his hands in his pockets, ears twitching a bit as he listened to Jiang and the woman talking. As she spoke of the Jedi and their ‘swords of fire and light’, Dmivo couldn’t help but snicker. Stepping a bit closer to her, he put his hands on his hips and gave her a short rant, still in quite a huff.

“Yeah, they’re referationed as lightsabers, lady. Learnify a bitty-bit more o’ Basic, it’s not hard! And pardify me if I sound rudeable with my interjectifying, but your apologications don’t quite satistify. Whaddaya mean, ‘inside his image’? And why is it concernable to you, eitherways? No lies!”

"Swords of Fire and Light."

That simplistic, almost superstitious name for the powerful energy weapon known as a Lightsaber sparked a long-suppressed memory in the Kasa Horansi's mind. A memory of his youngest days, when he was but a cub, began to unravel itself and play in his mind's eye, offering a glimpse into his otherwise forgotten past.

He could see a younger version of himself, perhaps only a few inches taller than Dmivo, sitting atop his bedroom inside the simple wooden house he once lived in on Balmorra. Next to him sat a second cub, who looked somewhat similar to himself but was younger and more slimly built, and a third cub, who was older and taller than himself. In front of the three cubs, an adult Kasa Horansi - his father, Jiang's subconscious noted - was arguing with a man clad in long robes, with a cylindrical object with a rubber grip attached to his hip. His father had called it a 'lightsaber'; a powerful sword that produced a beam of pure light as if by magic.

His memory offered no insight into what was being said by the two men, as everything was little more than a blur, and the language spoken was somehow both familiar and alien to his ears. It was as if part of himself remembered the language that was being spoken, but trying to remember was like grasping at smoke. However, if he had to hazard a guess, he would have to say that the robed man was a Jedi, who had come to take one of the three children away to be trained as a Jedi. The argument - which was more of the Jedi calmly debating whereas the Kasa Horansi growled and argued stubbornly - between father and Jedi that had taken nearly an afternoon played out within his mind in a matter of seconds, the battle of wills culminating when the Jedi Knight left the house, with the eldest of the three male cubs in tow, leaving Jiang and his brother behind.

With a quick bound, his younger self hopped down onto the hardwood floors to follow the eldest cub, but the adult Horansi stopped him by firmly instructing him not to follow, just as the bedroom door slid shut behind the Jedi and the older cub.

As the clang of the non-existent door slamming shut echoed through his mind, so too did Dmivo's voice enter his ears as the Squib began questioning the woman. Strangely, the Horansi found he had rose back to his full height and turned to face the woman, only a few short feet separating the massive feline from her.

He realized that he had 'spaced out' for several seconds while the memory was running through his head, and so gave his head a quick shake, dispelling the last vestiges of the memory from his conscious mind. As eager as he was to recover his lost memories, it was neither the time nor the place for the meditation that would be needed to help bring more memories to light.

After the flashback had been pushed out of mind, his luminescent blue eyes locked upon Autumn's eyes, though no malice or anger was present within the remarkably expressive synthetic eyes. "My questions are the same as Dmivo's. What isn't right in the kid's 'image', as you called it? Why are you interested in the boy? And why do you seem so curious about the Jedi Order?" He asked, his muscular arms falling to his sides as he spoke and his head tilting ever so slightly to the right as those bright eyes of his focused on Autumn's red-gold orbs.

His expression and voice were softer than they would normally be, as was his gaze. In fact, his mannerisms were almost disarming, like he was trying his best to make the young woman feel comfortable in his presence. And that was exactly what he was attempting to do: Make himself appear soft and harmless. Though admittedly, when one stands at just under six and a half feet tall, ripples with muscle, and has razor-sharp claws and glistening ivory fangs, it is very difficult to appear 'harmless' in any way, shape, or form. But at least his fur was nice and soft; that sort of helped. Sort of.
