Ask White Sands and Dead Bodies

[Freyja]

Spira was superficially beautiful - this was something that surely couldn't be denied. Between the vast, white sandy beaches and the vibrant green palms and exotic plants there was the light blue ocean that offered a pleasant refreshment against the warm endless summer days. She expected it was way too warm though.ll

It was a known world for weddings, honeymoons, family vacations, neverending parties, bottomless buffets, amazing Galaxygram shots and whatnot - and the adults only resort Freyja had selected was quite scenic, too, yet her partner in crime (quite literally) and her weren't even enroute to enjoy a few well-deserved days off.

The main purpose of their stay was business, and after she had developed the idea with Trael (who had then suddenly disappeared from all radars), she had then needed someone to pursue her plans with. Instead of having gone for a different Champion, after their last encounters Freyja had figured that Arak's skills came in just as handy, and so the Half-Annfyn had shorthandedly asked him to join.

The adventurous pureblood hadn't even let her get any further than "I'm planning a little trip, do you-", before he had literally started packing his bags. While she had some newly acquired beach fits with her, Freyja's luggage was filled with equipment like a few poisons, some weapons and other helpful tools and it turned out that through thorough planning and playing the game right, everything could be easily transported to the resort without any actual checks.

While the resort was rather decent, it was known that many criminal underworld players enjoyed their time here, so she wasn't surprised that security measures were rather representational only, but it suited them just right. They arrived with their transport in the late afternoon and after having checked in, they git handed the key card with which they were immediately moving to their assigned beachview suit.

The moment she swiped the card, the door hissed open and revealed a rather nice interior and an amazing view to the outside. Upon entering, the door would hiss shut behind them and Freyja dropped her luggage with a relief sigh, before her gaze mischievously flicked to Arak. "Guess that's our home for the next few days..", oh it could have all been much worse. Freyja was still in her travel clothes and in dire need of switching into something more appropriate.

[Arak Ragnos]

Arak instantly accepted her invitation to the trip. He had seen so little of the galaxy and any excuse to see more was a welcome excursion. He packed light compared to his travel partner bringing only his lightsaber and trusty dagger along with his clothes. Freyja had made him buy ‘beach clothes’ whatever she meant by that but it was simply just oddly patterned shorts.

As they got off the transport Arak was looking around like some random tourist. The planet was nothing like Korriban, except for the sand, having beautiful ocean vistas and beautiful light blue water. The resort itself was decent enough which meant the trip would actually be relatively bare able for him. He still wasn’t completely sure why Freyja would chose him. There were plenty of champions that were more skilled than him in practical skills.

He walked with her to the room, setting down his luggage as she did. He looked over the room and was relatively surprised by the quality. “It’s not bad.” He made his way to the window taking in the view. He watched the waves come into the shore and crash along it. Though he wanted to change into something more comfortable than what he was wearing he was mesmerized by the sights of such an unfamiliar place. “You can change first. I’ll watch out.” Though his understanding of basic was steadily growing there was still somewhat of a barrier.

[Freyja]

It felt like a few hundred degrees out there. The perfectly air conditioned room was a real blessing against the mercilessly shining sun. The truth was, that it wasn't even terrible hot, but Freyja was so used to the cold that this summer weather most of the guests here called 'heavenly' was somewhat unpleasant to her - especially in those long clothes.

In their suit, she immediately plopped down onto the bed, not wanting to rest but simply testing the levels of comfort. "Damn...this bed is nice", she remarked happily before she rolled down again and started rummaging through her suitcase. They were in no particular rush, yet Freyja wanted to start gathering intel on their target as quickly as possible to assess what they were truly dealing with.

As Arak mentioned keeping a look out, she quirked a brow at him before she walked up at him by the window, her glance directed towards the sandy beach before she looked up at him. "Watch out for what? This is a resort. There might be scum and villainy loitering around, but no one knows who we are and I've checked that no one followed us".

Without lifting her gaze, she slipped out of her shirt before she started stripping out of her pants as well. "We can't let out guard down...but we can have some fun...and be convinced that no one is watching us in here". Was he truly so concerned? She knew he hadn't been around much, yet she was behaving as though they were in danger even though they hadn't even started.

"You know, right now we're just passing as regular tourists. We should make use of that", she added with a smirk, before she was continuing to change into the swimwear she had picked. They weren't acolytes here, and while the trip was about business, she was looking forward to some time off as well. At first, they had to scout and get an overview about the resort anyway.

Arak was gazing out the window as she approached. Freyja spoke a lot of words that he didn’t quite understand but none of them put him fully at ease. They were here in a mission and in his mind that took priority over any fun. “I still will watch.”

He couldn’t help watching her out of the corner of his eyes as she changed. He reverted his gaze when she started talking again, “I don’t trust it. Someone always watching.” He grew up in an environment of constant indirect conflict and using information as weapons. His siblings and him waged a silent war on each other for position.

He turned to fully look at her as she continued trying to calm him down or destress him whichever it was. Seeing her in the swimsuit which to him just looked like a fancy version of her underwear. “Fine. You look good.” He stripped down to his boxers wanting to match her outfit for going out. “I’m ready to try swimming.” He said excitedly as he began walking towards the door.

She was certain he had it in him and that his past experience had coined him enough to always be on his guard, yet she also didn't miss how he stole some glances every now and then. A devious idea crossed her mind, but being reminded of the actual reason for their stay, she decided to behave while she kept changing into her swim wear.

"There are opaque curtains...but you do you" if he felt safer this way, she'd swap with him when he would start changing. "Well...so do you...even though you're a little too dressed...". She adjusted the last straps as he suddenly dropped his pants and discarded his shirt before he headed for the door. "Arak wait!", was he thinking underwear was go to swim wear. "No no no", she shook her head in actual amusement as she went for his luggage and looked for the swimming trunks she had sent him.

"Here. For beaches, you go with designa-", not overcomplicated language, she reminded herself. "This is a swimming trunk. Which is a better fit out there. We don't want to draw attention". She walked up at him, meeting her gaze in amusement still before it was a glint of mischief that would cross her eyes. The trunk was dangling from her left hand still.

"Let me help you", she was right across from him, looking up, but she was lowering herself towards the ground a moment later, her fingers immediately slipping under the hem of his boxers and slowly peeling them down while her skin grazed against his. It was an obvious tease, and she expectantly glanced up, curious for his reaction while her own mood was immediately lightened already.

Opaque curtains? What in the hell did opaque mean? He needed to learn this damn language it was annoying to not understand what people were saying. He raised a brow at her comment, it caught him off guard. It was rare for him to be complimented like that.

Arak stopped and turned around when she called for him to wait. He was visually confused as she began shaking her head and saying no. When she pulled out the clothes for swimming she got him he got even more confused. She could swim in underwear while he had to wear shorts? That seems unfair. “You will draw attention. Why can’t I?” He was gazing at her annoyed yet confused.

He was looking at the trunks and was about to grab them when she mentioned helping him. Why would he need help, his train of thought was interrupted when she began dropping down, ohhhh help like that. He looked down meeting her gaze while he seemed to relax a little, “It seems you want to do more than help.” He said playfully. Though he really did want to swim he could let this distraction slide. He may have seemed calm based on his face and reaction but there was an obvious sign of his excitement.

His answer made her chuckle as it was a mixture of a genuine compliment and apparently what remained of his confusion about the beach club dress code. "Drawing that kind of attention isn't bad...but we want them to think we're usually in that scene, hence, no underwear but swimming clothes", she explained with a smirk, before she leaned in to his ear and added, "and while they can all look, I hope you know that I'll have a say in who's allowed to touch that together with me...", with a rather seductive whisper.

She was obviously teasing him and the playful, mischievous smirk that still tugged at her lips would tell him just as much. The teasing they constantly exchanged reached yet another peak as she didn't just help him change, but given an actual reason to stay inside a little longer and lower his guard a little.

By the time they were done, Freyja still had a smirk on her lips while she felt rather relaxed and satisfied. For her, it was just the right state as it allowed her to clear and then center her mind right after, which was just the perfect precondition for the task ahead. "Ready to leave?", she asked him as she met his gaze again just as she was readjusting the straps of her bikini again.

"There are worse ways to start such a mission, not gonna lie", she pulled him in for another quick, passionate kiss before she waited for his confirmation on leaving.

Arak wasn't prepared for such a statement to come from Freyja. He quirked a brow while looking at her, "You get a say in who I get with? If that's the case then you are mine and mine alone. I will stay available though." He fully expected her to disagree, after all he wasn't locking himself down. He was smirking as he watched her reaction.

To his expectation after she had dropped down, she wanted to do more than change him. He was able to let his guard down and relax. Though it did delay his first experience swimming by a bit.

He had definitely relaxed and been left satisfied after they finished. He had begun putting on the 'shorts' with a sigh. "I'm ready whenever you are." He looked her over unsure of what she was expecting from all this. His mental state had begun switching back into work mode. She then pulled him into a quick and passionate kiss. He pulled back whispering, "You're not wrong."

He began to realize he didn't actually know what their 'mission' was. "What are we doing." He inquired, now that he was thinking straight again. He hoped he wasn't lied to about a mission and that this wasn't just a vacation trip. If that's the case she could've just told him the truth, and he'd be upset for being lied to.

Before their rather passionate encounter commenced, their exchanges of teases still continued, but as he stated his conditions, she just gave him a challenging smirk. "Guess those negotiations will need to continue", she teasingly added, her voice rather low, but even their negotiations were postponed for the moment.

After the kiss shared, Freyja kept the door shut for another moment while she met his gaze. Her mind was all focused and a few scenarios running through her head already as he asked how exactly they'd start working on this all.

"So I've tracked a crime Lord to this resort. He's running a whole underground business, a rather lucrative-", realizing she was doing it again, she actively simplified her language again. '-sorry, valuable one even. We need to start by finding out whether he's pursing any routines throughout the day...whether we'd ever catch him without high guard presence. We can't have him dead right away- I'm in contact with someone whom we could instill as a middle man if he can make his death look like an unfortunate accident'. Having switched to telepathy, she was hoping he'd understand, else, she'd clarify before opening the door.

"I have a picture. Here", the phone she carried in her hand had the pic ready, so stopping, she showed it to him for a moment before she'd continue walking. "I guess we could start down at the beach", she suggested as she directed her gaze ahead. The resort was big, they'd have to comb through the spa area, the pools, the fitness center, bars and restaurants and many more, but she had a feeling they might catch him gambling at night or whatever. The earlier, the better though, so they could still use the daylight right now.

Arak listened as she switched from speaking normally to telepathically. It was obvious to him that she still felt the need to telepathically talk to him simpler as if he was partially illiterate. He gave her a slight glare as he decided to let it go for now. “He could easily be convinced to trip over something and fall to his death.” He replied back through the telepathy.

He looked at the picture she was showing him and made a mental note on how the target looked. He looked at her with a glint of excitement as she mentioned the beach, “I agree. The beach is the best place to start.” That was mainly because going to the beach meant he could try swimming.

He followed her along through the resort as they made their way to the beach. Unlike Freyja he kept her gaze ahead Arak was taking in all the sights and sounds of a summer vacation. He didn’t know most swimsuits were made with so little fabric until they got to the beach and he saw all the various styles.

One random girl who was obviously drunk walked over to the pair. “Are you a Zeltron because you are making me feel all excited.” She boldly declared towards Arak trying to pull him away from Freyja. “Come on it’ll be more fun with me and my friends. We love our alien boys.” Hearing the mention of friends perked up Arak. That meant it was a group and he happily allowed himself to be pulled away unless Freyja intervened.

While they already strode through the outdoor corridors of the floor they were on, she nodded at his suggestion- it was the exact idea she had had, but there was a second one, too. "Or so intoxicated that he drowned", she threw him a smirk before she brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

She could see and sense his excitement rising and given how he had mentioned swimming, she was relatively convinced that scouting wasn't the only reason he liked her idea. She didn't comment on it further, but instead led them down the stairs, along the first pool and then across the stepping stones that were the most direct way to the beach.

As the white sand and the vibrant green palms came into sight, she couldn't deny the view was great, but the sun simply burned down from above and she still didn't appreciate the subtle heat. Cooling off in the water was surely a good idea, but for now she was scanning for some of the faces the had memorized.

A drunk basic bitch suddenly bumped into them and immediately went for Arak. "Go fetishize someone else", she hissed at her warningly, her tone icy, not because Freyja was possessive, but because what she slurred was simply disgusting. Glaring at her fiercly, she snatched Arak's wrist out of her filthy grip and waited until she hurried off in slightly panicked zig zags before she also let go of Arak.

She immediately threw him a glance that still hadn't lost its warningness. "We can have some fun later, but right now we're working, remember?". Was that all it took for him to loose his focus already? Would she regret having brought him along? She was perhaps a little surprised of his sudden change in work ethics and was hoping he wasn't just here for the vacation part.

"It didn't even bother you that she objectified you just like that?", she asked, a brow raised while she led him down to the first soft waves that collided with the sand. Sighting, she discarded the prior thoughts. "Did you learn how to swim back at home?", she knew Korriban was warm and dry...she doubted they had lots of natural seas, but perhaps they had swimming pools. Also, the change of topic was welcome before her frustration would have taken over.

Arak was completely confused as he heard the icy tone coming from Freyja. Not only that she yanked him away from the curvy distraction and the aforementioned friends. He watched as she scurried away quickly realizing why who ever made swimsuits was brilliant. His gaze followed her to her friends which were just as curvy and he died a little internally at the missed opportunity.

He was lost in admiration as she began speaking to him and drew him back to her. “Didn’t you say to have fun in the room?” He retorted with a questioning tone. Why couldn’t he have fun while working? Why did she shoo off the girl? Why was she mad at him about it? “I can have fun and work. All we are doing is looking for a face. It’s not hard to do.”

He wore confusion all over his face. “What do you mean? If she was objectifying me aren’t you?” He didn’t understand the logic in that one. He doubted Freyja saw him much more than a boy toy to fuck whenever she pleased. So why was she mad when someone else wanted to do the same?

When they reached the cool water he seemed to relax deeply. It seemed she was just as clueless about certain things as he was, “Yes we have oasis’s on Korriban. I swam near home all the time.” He bluntly stated before diving into the water and starting to swim. He waved her over, “Are you swimming too?”

She held his gaze, her features still rather cold as she answered, "Yes, and we will, but weren't you worried about us being watched just a few minutes ago?". It was super hypocritical and nothing more but his dick speaking right now if he was about to let his guard down just like that. This still wasn't a fuck island adventure.

"If you feel like playing around right now, fine, go, but I'll track the target without you then." While she was convinced his skills would come in handy, they had just agreed to scout and if he was so distracted already, there was no need to drag him along and split the rewards. She was no longer afraid of operating alone and not amused about his lack in morale.

"It's hard to do if your face I buried between her thighs", she bluntly stated before she continued walking, leaving the choice to him. He could follow her or his urges, her point was made and she wasn't going to let him sidetrack her.

As she reached the fine, white sand beach, she took in the view for a moment before she headed for the water. She found Arak at her side still, and while he immediately dove in, she looked around carefully at first before she walked in. "Of course", she replied, her tone definitely lighter now that her fate was restored for the moment.

"Can you dive, too?", she curiously inquired as she casually scanned the crowd around them, looking for not only their target's face, but for his goons, too. She wasn't just making smalltalk, but she had a genuine interest in what laid hidden under the surface. She glanced over as she swam into the depths ahead, the warm water still being an odd sensation against her skin. From Sverend, she was used to nearly frozen ponds, lakes and frigid rivers, so the salty, piss warm water wasn't even that pleasant.
