I think that we should heat things up a little.

Cold worlds, Luy had spent decades on damp, hot, dry and temperate worlds. But the bite of the air on a cold world focused him like nothing else he'd experienced outside of an altercation. The large Feeorin male laid with his elbows just before the peak of a rise, his hood and robe cinched tight around him. He played the magnoculars over the base that's rear hung over the edge of the canyon top. It all seemed so quiet, on Ilum's howl made noise. But this was supposed to be the last post on Ilum. Surely they had not just left? The sanctity of this world ot the Jedi was well known, had the Sith just left it?

His reddish-brown robe was caked in the snow that had been in the air. But as he turned away from the base he could see the speeder bikes at the bottom of the rise and more immediately to his side there were three Jedi. Perhaps the Order would remember them once their mission was complete? Luy would keep their names close to him, for more reasons than one. Arda was of course the latest and far more spirited Master to take up the reins of the Order. He was glad that she understood that such a disturbance on Ilum could not go uninvestigated.

Eisa, well the Knight was someone that Luy had always watched out for. In the dispatches sent to the Council members, in a bar where Rebels gathered and he ensured that he could sense her presence in the Force when he meditated. A star, so bright in the night sky but sometimes so far away.

The last of their group was a man that Luy had not had much personal conversation with, but a gifted student if Master Breaux was to be believed. Luy hoped that the Padawan’s nerve was steeled. Anything could’ve happened considering this world had been in the hands of the Sith. The Darkside could still be felt on the surface of Ilum. "Master Breaux, we should at least move in to get out of this infernal wind! The base appears abandoned!" he waved his magnoculars in the air.

The last time that Master Breaux had told Teran to pack his warmest clothes, he hadn't had anything particularly great. He still remembered the frigid temperatures he had had to endure on Telos and decided that he'd rather not have that happen again. This time he had borrowed some cold weather gear from the alliance armory, and he wasn't regretting it. Packed with thermal insulation and all sort of other fancy things, it was keeping him at least warm enough that he wasn't worried about frostbite.

Besides his clothes, the rest of his regular gear was with him in addition to some small macrobinoculars that helped pierce the bits of drifting snow. He pressed them up against his goggles before rolling over and slipping them back into his satchel.

When the sun goes down the temperature's will only get worse, he said, pushing himself up and scooting behind a rock. While there was still time before the sun slipped behind the horizon, he figured they should have at least closed the distance by then with the cover of night offering some options if they decided to try something akin to stealth, which he couldn't imagine would work. @GABA @Plebometer @Sangga

Pulling the folds of her heavy white woolen cloak thight around her chest, in an attempt to try and cut out the bracing icy winds cutting through her. Though it didn't feel like it was doing much to trap the heat, even with the additional layers bundle on beneath the cloak. The Fiery Haired Knight was still cold, not quite to the point that her teeth were chattering, but she was getting close.

Tucking a few loose errant strands of bright orange hair. Up into the confines of a white woolen beanie hat, so she could clear her gaze from the errant flicking strands that were annoyingly fluttering in the wind. Narrowing her gaze Eisa looked towards the structure emerging from the frozen tundra, listening to the conversation that was taking place around her.

Nodding in agreement to the exchanged words, the Jedi Knight pursed her lips in thought. It seemed too good to be true, the temple was abandoned, but there was a nagging feeling, that like everything that seemed promising; it was a blue milk run waiting to happen. "It might be abandoned, but it's what the Sith may have left that worries me, it could be booby trapped or worse..." Eisa spoke out before a chill ran down her spine causing her to shudder. "full of abominations" the mere thought of having to deal with those twisted creatures again, beasts corrupted by the darkside was a prospect that made her blood run colder than the icy winds.

Luy rose up,the wind clawing at his outer robe, his large arm swept over his head and then signalled forward. “Knight Swan and I will move into the facility. This is not foolhardiness, but a cautious allocation of our resources here. Master Breaux and the others will be needed to investigate the caves… especially if something befalls us.” Luy did not leave room for argument, he was already moving down the slope his long legs trudging through deep drifts of snow.

He looked back, the sloping gale following his gaze. “Come along Eisa, the Force is with us, so we have nothing to fear!” With that the lumbering form headed down toward the base’s perimeter and the more solid surface of the base’s anchor point. He looked back to Eisa, a smile forming as he brought a hand up to shield his eyes. It was hard to see her in those cold weather clothes. How he blessed his Master for teaching his the ability to take the effects of the evinronment and balance them with the Force.

His head snapped to turn almost entirely about, there was a sound on the wind or was it the Force? What caught his attention so?

Taking her cue from the Jedi Master who aired out the instructions and the plan for the gathered Jedi to follow, Eisa rose up from her crouched position, adjusting the folds of her cloak to account for the change in her posture. Scrunching up the heavy woollen fabric tight around her face so that her bright emerald hued eyes were the only elements of her face was visible. Her gaze narrowing as she watched the large troughs of snow become carved in the Feorin Master's wake, great even with his long legs she could see that the depth of the snow would come up to her midriff. Opting to manipulate the flow of the Force through her, the fiery haired Jedi lightened her body mass, making her significantly lighter than her already slight build. Stepping up onto the top of the snow drift, the young Jedi female followed to the Master's side, walking atop the snow drifts as if it was solid ground. The last thing she wanted was to get hypothermia before she even got near the outpost.

Turning her gaze to meet Luy's as he turned to towards her, beckoning her on wards, insisting that there was nothing to fear as the Force was with them. The tightly drawn folds of fabric, concealing the look of doubt that had grown on her features. The Force may well be with the Jedi on this venture, but masked in the deep icy chill of the arctic gales was a chilling void in the Force. "The Force may be with us Master Luy" Eisa spoke out, as a wisp of steam escaped from within the hood. "But there is certainly something here that we should be fear" she continued as she drew level, her gaze turning to the side to look at the master through the corner of her eyes. "Or at least be wary of" She added, quickly correcting herself, afterall fear was something that the Jedi frowned upon afterall.

Stopping in her tracks as she caught the sight of the Feeorin Master, snap his gaze to the side as if something had howled within the wind, seemingly an intangible presence had caught his attention. "You can feel them can't you" Eisa questioned as she continued through the buckled Harris fencing that surrounded the outpost's perimeter. "That small pin prick of intense cold carrying in the Force? Like a frost burn right?" She continued before ducking through a small hole in the fence, before reaching out and pulling away at the metal fence with a gloved hand to widen the hole for the Jedi Master to pass. "Trust me, it belongs to something that you would wish to steer well clear of" the knight continued as her brow furrowed, reflecting on the past instances she had encountered the same cold presence in the Force, on Alderaan and Batuu.

Once the Jedi master had passed through the fence and the pair had resumed their course towards the large blast doors, separating the the abandoned structure from the icy winds that were cutting through them. The Fiery haired Jedi resumed in her words of caution. "That is the presence of the Abominations, I know the texts identify them as being the twisted manifestations, the dark side in it's purest Form" Eisa explained before pausing for a moment, to reach out through the Force to sense for herself where the presence was lingering. "But the texts do not prepare you for what you will witness, nor for what you will have to do" she continued with a sigh. "Word of advice, remove their heads or better yet destroy their body entirely. The Marks of Contact mean nothing when dealing with Abominations, the stronger the darkside taint, the quicker they can recover" The knight concluded as she approached the access control panel of the Blast door. Closing her eyes and channelling the Force through her, the younger Jedi held out her hand over the screen, before a few faint sparks of green tinted electricity jumped between the surface of her hand and the screen.

The small burst of ionised energy flickered between the Knight's hand and the screen, followed by a flickering of the control panel's screen, the surge of ionic energy forcing the circuitry to overload, killing the supply to locking magnets that held the blast door shut. Redirecting the flow of the force from the control panel and into the door, Eisa moved her hand out to the side, her fingers clenching into a tight fist as she Pulled the door open using the Force, revealing a dimly lit corridor. Stepping through the threshold, the Knight removed the heavy woollen cloak, as well as the outer layers of her winter clothing, revealing her Jedi armour. Taking a few steps deeper into the cavernous corridor, the Jedi retrieved her traditionally fashioned lightsaber from her belt, and ignited the cyan blade to better illuminate the area around the two Jedi.

He did not reply to her interrogative. He listened to her warnings, he understood her trepidation and he knew all too well of the threat that they both could sense within the base. But that was for their future, the here and the now was the newly open and cyan bathed corridor. As the Knight fell silent, the wind was hidden from and only the low hum of the ignited blade filled their ears did Luy turn to her.

The Feeorin was large, that was obvious. But as he turned and stood before her, there was a feeling of the weight that sat upon his shoulders. The years that had piled the sediment of his experiences and had weathered the Master. Normally, such a stern or stoic appearance proceed a lecture, a ramble or was subverted with a bit of quick humour. No sound passed the old Feeorin’s lips. The Force flowed around them, linked them to all but right now not an inconsiderable amount began to pool around and flow about this Master’s presence.

For everything that the skilled Knight could sense, nothing would be more telling and more concerning than the look in Luy’s eyes. He did more than look at the Human before him. He stared at her within the Force. Something had been said, was it the Fear she admitted to? Wasit the description of the horrors? What could it be? What was going on behind those eyes like the lenses of a target sensor locking onto her. Luy then slowly turned, adjusting the fit of his robe and shaking off the thawing powder.

They stepped to the centre of this entrance hall and a secondary blast door closed behind them, each of the remaining three sides slid rapidly close. Then there was the hissing of hatches in the roof opening and a grinding of unmaintained metal against metal. One turret eventually slid out and primed, then another. Sparks fell out of the third and nothing came out the fourth. Luy ignited his Viridian weapon and adopted the opening stance of the third form. His saber held aloft and the tip and the off hand pointing towards a turret he faced. The first series of bolts from the quad-barrelled weapon system rang out and Luy deflected them into the wall with a curved swipe. Some hit the floor others the wall. “We must focus on the now, and then concern ourselves with the future.” The turret fired again and Luy angle the bolts towards the turrets direction, the cratered the opposing wall. “Assuming we see it in this form.

Looking at the venerable Jedi master as his scrutinising gaze fell upon her, Eisa remained stoic as the Feeorins gaze stared right through her and seemingly into the inner Energies of the Force that flowed through her. She knew what the Master's intent was, he was looking for signs of turmoil, conflict and everything else that would give him cause for concern. That the young teenager whom he had bestowed the mantle of Jedi Knight upon a decade ago, was likely to fall to the darkside.

Offering no resistance to the Master's probing, the Knight opened her mind into the Force. The currents passing through her resonating with the decades worth of horrors that she had bore witness to in one battle field to the next. Be it on the ground or in space, her fellow rebels and comrades falling under fire of the Rebellion's countless enemies, the screams of their pain and anguish echoing out from within. It was the burden and guilt that the Fiery haired Jedi Knight had carried with her for so long, hidden from those she fought along side with beneath her cheerful demeanor. It was all there for Master Luy to see, there was no sugar coating things, there was little reason to do so, after all he would be able to see through her own eyes the terrors that she had witnessed first hand, more so recent the senseless slaughter of the Alderaanian capital at the hands of the unknown Sith and his hordes of abominations that the Jedi fought in vain to put an end to.

Once the Jedi master had finished peering into the window of her soul, or so to speak. The Jedi Knight followed in the Feeorins wake, her gaze darting to her sides as the blast doors encompassing them slid shut. The Knights hand tightening around the grip of her ignited saber hilt, as she readied herself falling into a prone Form three stance, posing the blade infront of her for defence, her free hand reaching towards the holster above the small of her back, unfastening and withdrawing her blaster as the turrets descended down from the hatches in the ceiling above. Keeping low to the ground, Eisa's gaze narrowed as she tracked the turrets movements, moving the blade of her saber parallel to the muzzle of the turrets.

As soon as the turrets opened Fire, Eisa like Luy directed her blade to intercept the incoming bolts of plasma, deflecting the shots harmlessly towards the walls or floor. Her eyes intently studying the tracking pattern of the turrets targetting scanner, slowly she released the safety of her blaster before as sliding her finger around the trigger. With a deep breath the Knight focused her mind, and concentrated on the nearest of the turrets before raising the muzzle of her blaster towards it and firing off three rounds In quick succession. The first of the three rounds connected with the outer casing of the targetting camera, the second and third hitting the lens as it panned into the path of the fired shots, blinding the turret.

Once the turret had been stricken Eisa reached our with the Force, projecting tendrils of telekinetic energy and wrapping it around the turret. Raising out her fore fingers from around the hilt of her lightsaber, Eisa tightened her ethereal grip around the turret before with a sudden twist of her wrist, the turret was pulled off from its mounting. Crashing to the floor in a shower of sparks.

With a further combination of movements, the turrets own firepower was brought against it. Such firepower shook the hilt in his hands, it’d been a while since he saw combat like this. His time sparring blade on blade had dulled the occurrence of this sensation; something he should address should they get out of this base.

With the immediate threat dealt with, Luy did not halt and wait for another to be brought to bear. He walked to the door opposite the entrance, the micro vibrations of his active saber building confidence within him. He lunged forward at the door and buried his blade into the durasteel. Grasping the hilt with both hands he began dragging the weapon slowly in an arc. The metal glowed at the edge of this contact trail.

It was hard work, but it allowed one to focus, like a craftsman. Simple tasks that allowed the recesses of the mind to process the facts. They were on Ilum, it had been occupied by the Sith, there was a Presence that the pair of them sensed. The security system had been triggered, and this first phase had been overcome. What was next, why was he intent on pushing on and most important of all…

You said you had been in contact with the Abominations before, and that the text underplayed them. You assumed that I needed tempering, so much so to warn me against the peril of the Darkside. Have you checked yourself? By which I mean, have you meditated upon your exposure and your… inner harmony.” Luy gave out a grunt as he drew his blade lower in its arc, about halfway through making a door for them. “I once found myself deep within the jungles of Felucia. Life was in total conflict and yet the Force flourished in the presence of such vast quantities of life. But the horrors that were hidden in among the creatures and plants… the dark places of the galaxy can hide so much in their depths…” Luy stopped talking as if lost in the memories that he may have been suppressing. His hands continuing their work.

As the last of the turrets was neutralised, the fiery hsired Jedi, took a cautionary glance around her, her eyes scouring the room for any signs of more potential turrets. Satisfied that the area was safe, Eisa disengaged her lightsaber and fastened it back onto her belt. Opting to keep a hold of her side arm for the time being, just incase there were any sudden surprises.

Eisa's attention moved to the Feeorin Jedi master as he plunged his lightsaber into the blast door, before proceeding to cut through the door and lecture the young Knight as he did so. A sigh escaped the girls lips as he questioned her whether she had recently checked herself, meditating on her exposure to the darkside or even taken a moment to feel harmonious her presence in the Force was. All of them was something that she was all too aware she was long over due, the last time she could recall meditating was whilst she awaited the arrival of Rohana, a white haired padawan who had sought Eisa out to assist with the issues she had with her Kyber crystal. And even then she was lucky if it lasted more than half an hour, shaking her head in response as the Knight looked to the floor briefly.

"Apologies if I spoke out of turn master, I meant no offence by it" Eisa spoke out, responding to the assumption that the Feeorin hadnt encountered abominations before. "its unfortunately became second nature to caution those I am fighting along side with" she added with a light shrug. Over the years of fighting in the front lines assignments, she had often found that those she had fought alongside were often unprepared, her mind casting back to Batuu where her Padawan had siezed up from the presence of the abominations. Whilst General Tycho a far greater experienced veteran of the Rebellion had struggled to retain his steely nerve.

"I've not had much of a chance to meditate as of late Master Luy" Eisa spoke out as she leaned against the bulkhead behind her for a moment, to support herself as she adjusted the shin guard of her protective armour so it wasn't pinching against her knee. "between my assignments, sorties with Star Squadron, and providing guidance and training to Padawans on Jedha, I've rarely had a moment to myself to reflect" she added as she pushed off from the wall, stretching her free hand out and summoning the Force to her and extending it out to the section of door that the Feeorin was cutting loose, and holding it in place.

"on the rare occasion that I can find the time to meditate..." Eisa resumed after she was sure that the section of metal was firmly held in her ethereal grasp. "it is difficult to maintain for a long enough period of time to do anything beyond clearing my mind and touching upon recent events" she added, her gaze flitting between the Jedi master and the methodical progression of the blade cutting through the blast door.

There was a grunt from Luy as his blade passed over a crease in the metal and it began to slow down in it relentless slice nearer the floor. He could feel the metal stabilise and could sense why, the Force flowing past him. It was radiant, with a brightness that matched its sources shock of orange hair. "Ngh... at least you spoke out... to hold such doubts within the mind is the kindling of Fear. They should always be... brought to the fore and into the light of reason." Luy rose slowly from his squat as he was on the final points of his circle. He breathed deliberately, the light of the contact point of door and saber glowing bright in his eyes.

He focused on his work, but his mind was working over the Knight’s statements. “It would seem that like all Jedi, you still have much to learn. Meditation takes many forms Eisa, for some it is found in solemn reflection and in others the body has to be preoccupied.” his voice had a distance to it, but the truth still rang out. His motion maintained its fluidity as it past the crease in the metal; the task was almost complete. “You merely… have to find your own method. Some Knights and Masters took this idea to the extreme...” His blade finally sliced into the original incision and he withdrew his sabre to then extinguish it. The large Feeorin rolled his shoulders and then his neck, stiffness was seeping into his form, his sabre hilt was then clipped to his robe’s belt. “... they learned to meditate within the centre of great battles and conflicts.

The towering Feeorin looked down at the woman he knew as a Padawan. She had hardened, the war had made her a weapon. This was always something that he had been against. It was why he had hesitated to join the cause and, in turn, it was why he joined. He nodded for her to ‘open’ the door. His hands lifted and folded together within his deep sleeves. He still maintained the Force around them, allowing it to gather and ebb away as an aura. Partly to sense for anymore threats, partly to instill a calmness around them, like the centre of a ripple. “Perhaps one day, Eisa. I will have the good fortune to help you find that which has eluded you? I did not have a hand in your early tuition, but as I said, ‘like all Jedi, you have much to learn’ and to teach me. Only the Force knows, but now we must focus on the here and the now.

Watching as the Jedi master continued to finish off cutting through the blast door, Eisa maintained her ethereal grasp on the loose section of door. Periodically casting her gaze to the Feeorin's as he spoke out, advising her that she still had much to learn about the varying means of meditation that was possible. A curious eyebrow crossed her features as Luy spoke about there being some Jedi who practised their meditations in the heat of a battle. That was something that the young Jedi knew she wouldn't want to contemplate attempting, unless it was within controlled conditions. There was often too much at stake, all her focus was centred on the Force and concentrating on her surroundings.

The young Jedi's gaze moved back to the section of door, as the Jedi master retracted his lightsaber before extinguishing the blade. "I'm sure in time there will be such an opportunity" Eisa commented with a light smile, as she carefully manipulated the slab of metal, bringing it into the chamber and setting it down on the ground with a dull thud. No sooner had the hulk of metal been set down, Eisa's nose twitched as a rather repugnant odour started to seep into the room. Her gaze narrowing as she looked into the newly open breach, through the freshly cut aperture she could see claw marks embedded into the durasteel walls, barely visible under the intermittent flashing of the strip lighting that hung precariously from the ceiling.

Summoning her lightsaber back into her hand, the fiery haired Jedi stepped through the hole in the blast door, before making her way into the corridor, her gaze panning over the claw marks carved into the metal surface, following them down its diagonal path towards the floor, where a mutilated corpse lay, it's body showing the early stages of decomposition. Sighing as she shook her head, the young Jedi turned her attention back towards the the Jedi Master as he was following her into the corridor. "This might be why the Empire abandoned this place" Eisa spoke out as she nudged a damaged lightsaber hilt with the tip of her boot, the eviserated corpse seemingly belonging to a Sith apprentice, giving the youthful age of the man's features. "Poor Kriffer" she muttered before stepping away from the body and moving deeper into the erratically lit corridor.

Pausing in her steps, the young Jedi's ears twitched slightly at the faint sound of metal scratching in the distance, her face contorting into a look of concentration for a moment before reaching over to activate the small barrel mounted torch point that was fitted onto her blaster pistol, creating a focused cone of white light that illuminated the path ahead. Taking a deep breath the young Jedi allowed the Force to flow through her fully, she knew all to well whatever was skulking about out of sight was responsible for the grim tableau that littered the corridor. Casting another look towards the Feeorin Master, Eisa gestured with her head towards the path ahead of her, her features darkening at the prospect that lay ahead of the pair.

Tightening the grip of her weapons, the fiery haired Jedi's stance became lowered and increasingly prone, ready to strike out and react as soon as the unseen threat presented itself. Slowly and cautiously the younger Jedi lead her way deeper into the darkness, with only the cone of light projected from her blaster's torch illuminating the two Jedi's path. The aura around Eisa becoming increasingly hardened and focused, moving completely unphased past the mangled rotting corpses that lay scattered over the metal decking of the floor, staining the metal black with the dried viscera and blood.

Coming to the end of the corridor the pair were presented with an open corridor intersection that slit into two paths, at the very center of the opposing wall sat a large ventilation shaft, the blades of the fan laying loose and twisted as if some thing had since burst its way through them. Coming to a standstill, the Young Jedi lowered her stance into a shallow crouch as the distant sound of scratching metal started to rapidly draw closer, the sounds echoing out of the ductwork. The sound getting louder and louder until the Firey haired Jedi pointed her blaster towards the mouth of ventilation system, the cone of light illuminating a crimson and black mottled creature that seemed to lack any facial traits of any known species, baring a large fanged maw. The hulking mass of muscle and sinew, looking to be about two meters in height whilst hunched over on all four of its viciously clawed feet.

He admired Eisa’s control of the large durasteel ‘plug’ and moving it aside. The smell was not the first thing that had caused his brow to furrow. The Force that surrounded them was hit with a wave of the Other. A darkness whose tendrils encroached upon all those of Light. Like night engulfing the day.

As they walked down the corridor, the poor souls that had been consumed lay around them. Luy stared at the marks upon the wall, a creature of great evil walked these corridors, bathed in the Darkside an Abomination of the Force. He looked back to Eisa and saw that she knew, she felt the strength of the disturbance. The light shone up at the tunnel mouth as the creatures claws sliced into the meet at the fringe of the opening. Luy reached into his robe and removed his saber hilt, adopting an opening stance without the blade on.

It stank of filth and evil, just being close to such a creature made Luy recoil slightly. His gaze dare not hold the beast for too long, lest he saw more of it then he needed. It growled and its head turned this way and that. More noises could be heard around them, more scratching. It took in a sharp breath and bellowed as it launched its huge from out of the tunnel. Fore claws out and grasping, but as this darkness grew a light burst forth from Luy’s hilt. With a quick change in stance a hand rose to meet the creature and a rush slammed into the creature,as his pooled Force energy flew at it. Bone cracked as the torrent of the Force sent the creature flying into the Wall. But a wrenching of metal behind them caused Luy to turn. Now there were two? How many were on Ilum?

As the beast sprang out from the ventilation shaft the Fiery haired Jedi tracked its movements as it drew closer, her eyes narrowing as she could feel the Force Energies concentrate around Luy, before a wash of telekinetic energy was cast towards the abomination, sending it hurtling backwards. Wasting little time the female Jedi, emptied three blaster rounds into the head of the creature, as she stepped closer towards it.

As she drew closer she could see that the abomination was starting to claw its way back onto its feet, the Force Energies swirling around Eisa like a controlled torrent. Her eyes narrowed as she closed the distance in the abomination, reading every movement and preparing herself for the beasts lashing out. With a sudden burst of speed, the female Jedi was able to spring swiftly to her right hand side as the abomination swung out at where she was, before another two rounds were despensed from her blaster, once into the chest of the abomination, the second at its head. Causing it to lash out and flail wildly in all directions, it's indescrinate attacks hitting nothing but air, as Eisa evaded the attacks with an unnatural feline grace.

The abominations wailing and thrashing about was abruptly cut short by a sudden snap hiss as her cyan hued blade ignited into life, and was brought down with a swift sidewards strike directed at the creatures neck. The blade of burning plasma cleaving through the abominations neck, in a single uncaring swipe. Narrowing her gaze the Jedi Knight observed the body of the abomination twitch for a moment before going still.

Eisa's gaze remained narrowed and focused as her attention was brought towards the ever closing sound of distant scratching of claws on metal. The abomination had another, not that it was surprising, they were like porgs, infesting every nook and cranny. Wherever the darkside was able to sink in, corrupt and taint. These abominations seemed to thrive, mostly in part to the hapless fools that would try and summon and control them to thier will without knowing just a strong a will was needed.

As soon as the second abomination came into sight it was greeted by a series of concentrated bursts from the Fiery haired Jedis blaster, pinning it down long enough for the Feeorin master to prepare himself.

Luy heard the blaster fire and then Eisa's blade humming in harmony with his own. Luy stepped toward the large abomination, it began to lunge forward and Luy's blade roze. He focused on the now, how the creature lifted its claws, each talon stretching out. A quick, sideways figure eight sliced its claws off and a sidestep allowed him to strike once more. The raised blade swung down, the shrieking creature silenced as its head was struck from its form.

Luy looked down, what a futile being. Polluted, corrupted by the Darkside and now it was returned to the Force. Extinguishing the blade, he placed it back at his belt. Turning back slowly to Eisa he saw she had finished off her opponent. “Almost with the prowess of the Master’s of old…” Approaching and then passing her he moved right along the corridor and found a control room. “By the Force!

Around the room there were murdered remains of Sith soldiers. Not all were horrifically shredded. Some bore cuts similar to that caused by a lightsaber, the cad in the corridor had tried to fight his way through the defense of his own men. The fool, a perfect example of how self-serving power was corrupting.

Shortly after the Jedi Master's blade was extinguished, the fiery haired Knight's own cyan hued blade fell silent. The only sound the deactivated weapon made, was a light clicking as the hilt was clipped to the female Knight's belt. The Blaster however, did not leave Eisa's grasp, whether is it was just the years of fighting in the Front lines and unknown territories, it was often until she knew through all certainty that the area was secured that she would disarm herself. A light smile crossing her features in reaction to the compliment being offered by the Venerable Jedi Master, as her bright emerald hued gaze surveyed the Feeorin's own handy work. "Yeah, though I doubt the Ancient Jedi Masters would really approve with me not following the Marks of Contact" Eisa commented, with a light sigh, her gaze falling down to the abomination that she had dispatched. "The Jedi Path book I read as a padawan, noted that the use of Sai Cha is somewhat frowned upon" The knight continued as she fell into step with the Feeorin Master, though the use of her light-saber to target and sever the head of the abomination, whilst although is excused if used as a last resort, it wasn't the case with Abominations, there was no means of sparing their lives, or pursing peace. it was often wiser to neutralise the threat as quickly and cleanly as possible.

As the two Jedi entered into the control room, Eisa peaked from behind the towering Jedi Master as he exclaimed out load. Her eyes narrowing as her emerald hued gaze scanned over the slain Sith soldiers that were scattered over the floor. An inquisitive look crossing her features as she stepped closer to inspect the more intact of the corpses that clearly hadn't been mauled by the abominations. Her brow furrowing as she regarded the sight of lightsaber burns over the backs of some of the Sith Troopers. She didn't even need to use her developing Psychometry skills to see what happened, it was blatantly obvious that the earlier discovered Sith had put his self preservation ahead of those under his command. "Kriffing Schuta" Eisa cussed, as she stepped away, her gaze moving to look at Luy through the corner of her eye. "Least when we're fighting with our allies we're willing to bleed with them as well" she continued, before nodding to her arm, as she pulled up it's sleeve to reveal the collection of blaster burn scars that pot marked her upper arms.

Shaking her head, as she allowed the sleeve to fall back down her arm, the fiery haired Jedi made her way over towards one of the base operations consoles, setting down the blaster on top of the console, before her fingers started to rapidly type and navigate their way through the various menu screens that were being displayed. Eisa's eyes narrowing as she read the various outputs and system statuses that were being displayed on the screen. Before long the outpost was filled with a dull whining sound as the power generators fired back up, the lights and screens flickering for a moment before fully illuminating the areas around them as one by one the systems came back online. A light current of air passing through the room, as the ventilation systems started up once again, the scent of stale rotten air starting to become replaced with the crisp fresh wintery air from outside.

The Knights attention moved away from the operations console, over towards the security controls. Her gaze regarding the security feeds as their screens fizzled with static for a moment, before eventually providing the two Jedi with live images of the various points of the outpost. The images had made from grim viewing, much like what they had encountered on their way to the command room, the abominations had cut a path of carnage throughout the outpost, the images being displayed showing just how bad it must had been, the maintenance levels, crew dorm chambers storage holds were all littered with the bodies of the fallen Imperials. Within the center of the screen cluster, was the image of what looked like a laboratory, where two large glass frammed bio tubes, sat as nothing more than a pile of broken glass. The outpost had been abandoned, and now the Jedi knew why.
