Yes it could hit the floor, but it could also hit a lot of other stuff. The angle she was shooting at, the elevation, the window size, etc. So many things were not mentioned when these shots went off. Don't you think its a bit much for all those factors to line up perfectly for the shots to hit the bombs?

It could hit a lot of things and it has been deemed to hit the grenades as my dodge of her shots allows me to say where they are directed.

Really? I didn't know it worked like that. I thought that the attacker would be the one to dictate what happened when an attack missed. Is it because Redneck didn't say what would happen and thus left it open for interpretation?

Yes. -You- chose how her shots acted, as if you can influence their direction with a simple dodge. And since they are now flying at me, I can deflect them back at your character now right? Completely ignoring 90% of your post. I could, but in my mind and like minded people like me who have said it before in this thread; that would be a bit much. But when it comes to your own posts. My god assume/imply and do as you will.

I wasn't angry. I tried to be calm and reasonable, even open to edits. But I am rather miffed now.

So. I would just like to point out that imo there is absolutely no way the shots could hit the grenades on the ground. The idea that Bonnie would have to be shooting downward to shoot Oria in the back is... completely rediculous. Oria being taller than Bonnie, combined with the fact that most trained militants shoot from a slightly crouched position, would mean that the shots would be travelling roughly parallel to the ground. Definately not with enough of an angle to hit grenades on the ground. If anything the shots would smack into the wall above Kirs head.

Thank you Arclight. And I was recommended by several people to do just that. Reported. But honestly, it's getting to the point I really wouldn't care if it gets shut down. I'm at least trying to be flexible, you are adamant and seem to always believe you're in the right 100% of the time. See? I'm not the only one who agrees with my points. You're really going to ignore us all?

Maybe if you could do an OOC post without making it OOC attacks to the other person things would work out better, Dust. SEE OTHERS IN MY FACTION AGREE WITH ME! Cool dude. I bent to your request and demands that it wouldn't explode due to you losing focus to deflect. Rather than challenge it I was.. oh wait.. CREATIVE and did something different. Just wait for the report results and stop trying to get some last goad in.

It's already been reported, which is why I haven't posted anything yet. To...whichever admin ends up taking this, I'd probably just say rule on a conclusion, since it seems that we're just gonna hit the same roadblocks next round IMHO.


Side note: Not to make an already messy situation worse (can't stress this enough), but maybe take this on board as helpful information for the future, @Dust: If your back is turned, and you're trying to use telekinesis to block a sniper shot from the back while focusing on something else, then...protip: you can't. Not like that at least.

As an admin, if I was called in on that action then your character would have a crater where their spine used to be. I'm only bringing this up now since technically I think that because Bauren posted it can't be contested anymore, so the deflection is agreed to by his posting, but moving forward you'll need to be more careful and conservative with Force usage, and you'll need to follow the guidelines we've set forth for the site: namely, that the Force requires a shitload of focused concentration, and that multitasking like that just doesn't work. Be sure to check the site sticky on Force usage, and if you're still not clear, shoot me a PM.

Anyway, just a helpful tip for the future.

Alright. Good to know. I was hoping his awareness and command of primarily telekenitic powers would allow that. But now that I know it wouldn't be, I will remember that. Thanks for the advice.
