Ah, my mistake then, sorry. I failed to notice. With my English, I am merely at the start of the road, being learning it for like 2 years now I guess, so I lack the confidence when it comes to grammar and that causes me to be sensitive. Sorry.

But let's not break from the topic.

I wasn't laughing at your spelling or grammar or word choice, nor anything like that. Your writing is much better than most English-born speakers. I was just laughing at the message that they conveyed, that being that there is a "correct" way to look at the Qur'an.

There is. In fact, there's a good way to look at prettymuch every religious text. In essence, the Qur'an teaches peace to the peaceful and war to the warmongers. It says to not start war, but also not to back down from people who start aggression with you.

Also, a lot of these sorts of laws aren't taken directly from scripture.

Source: I've read the Qur'an, a translated version at least.

Addendum: regardless, what happened to this woman (and the other woman mentioned) is terrible. I'm honestly a little surprised.

Not taking shit in a holy text literally is a pretty correct way to look at it.

Uhm, the woman? Not sure anymore. I am getting back to playing my game, with no distractions this time, hopefully. -__- So the others wouldn't be drawn into this conversation and stay on THE topic.

Edit: Also, I would explain the 'correct way' but already ninja'd on that.

I am going to hire one of you people some day.

Troll more so than a ninja.

Anyway, theological law aside, how the heck is Norway going to take this? One of their citizens is being held against their will for a crime she did not commit with her passport confiscated. Theories, people?

Not a troll. Just trying to get you guys to think.

About ninjas?

As for the Norway getting her back, an offical demand maybe? An explanation of the situation? It shouldn't be hard, but sadly, it probaly will.

Edit: I didn't look.

Apparently this woman has now been fired from her job.

The company she worked for was 'THE One Total Home Experience' is a UAE company. It's ran by someone from Sweden, but does all their business in the UAE, so it's obvious as to why she got fired. He didn't want to lose his entire business over it.
