I think it's great we are getting a film adaptation of Princess Diana and her Grecian supermodel sisters. Just not a huge fan of the aesthetic they are going for the costumes. Hippolyta looks like she'd be more at home on the Thor set than an island nation. That and they just look super bland for standing on a sun soaked shore.

Yeah the color palate is.... limited and the outfit designs don't exactly look that Greek but I'm just happy for a Wonder Woman movie by a pretty great director, though after reading the Batman v. Superman reviews I'm a bit skeptical that the studio "hacks" as the critics called them, will allow a quality movie to be made.

Wonder Woman set during the first World War is also just really cool. I share in your reservations for the DC films as a whole.

Yeah especially because in Hollywood the way producers and executives influence a movie varies wildly so we don't know how much their to blame for a poor finished product.
